At the end of the last episode, we see Obi Wan is hurt pretty bad by the burns Vader gave him, and luckily NED-B, the loader droid, was able to carry him away to safety. Then we see Reva kidnapping Leia again (not really sure why) but I don’t think she’ll be held captive for long. As Kenobi heals, I would love to see some kind of flashbacks of the clone wars or even moments between Anakin and him that were never seen in the films. Then it will cut away to Obi having nightmares of Anakin burning on Mustafar and seeing him in the suit as Vader in his most recent encounter. The words Vader spoke will echo in his visions/nightmares: “I am what you made me”. This guilt of contributing to the creation Vader will linger with Obi Wan for a bit I think even after he is healed. He will fester in his sorrow a little while longer until he realizes what he feels is his duty: To try bringing the chosen one back to the light.
I think once Obi Wan realizes he can’t bring Vader back, he will determine in his mind that Luke is the chosen one. Before he can confront Vader again, though, he would have to try rescuing Leia again (unless Vader orders Reva to release her and send her back to Alderaan). It might anger Vader seeing Reva kidnap Leia for the second time without good reason.
I feel like if we get dialogue from Qui Gon (which I almost guarantee we will), his wisdom might not be what Obi Wan wants to hear. There’s a possibility of a disagreement or an argument to come about between the two. Since Qui Gon did not like to interfere with the will of the force, it’s likely that he will tell Obi Wan that Vader’s fate is for the force to decide. Kenobi will disagree with this statement, instead wanting to bring back Anakin to the light. It would be nice to see Obi refer back to Padmè’s last words saying that there was still good in him.
From this point, I think we will see Obi Wan trying to relearn his skills with a lightsaber and maybe even using the combat remote Luke uses in A New Hope. It’s also possible that he could not pick up his lightsaber from Mepuzo since he had to be carried away, so that could open the door to him using Anakin’s lightsaber (only making Vader’s rage more ruthless). Everything will lead up to their final confrontation where Vader’s line will finally make sense.
