Moff Mando Theory

Hey everyone, hope you are all doing well.

I don't want to spoil the end of The Mandalorian for anyone so that is why the title is very vague.

But anyway, what I've been thinking about is the theory that the Gideon that Din and Bo fought was just a clone, because of the whole mustache thing. This would allow the real Gideon to be hiding somewhere else in the base in Mandalore or at another secret imperial hideout. I think it could be possible and although it kinda links back to "no one ever being really gone", I do kinda want to see it happen.

Gideon being at another base could explain why the Ties never went back down to the surface after destroying the light cruiser. Maybe they had orders to rendezvous with the actual Gideon because of the limited resources the Empire remnants have, idk.

I think it could be cool to see mainly so we can see Thrawn come in and whoop his ass (kinda hard to do it when Gideon is already dead). But if the real Gideon does still live, that is the only way I wany to see him done. Bringing him back to play a big part will be too annoying for me since we've already seen him die. I would much rather see Thrawn express his superiority over him and wipe him out.

Anyway, just some quick thoughts, please let us know what your thoughts are on Gideon and his clone and how (if) you would bring him back.
