What are they using the Zillo beast for?!?!

I have been wondering for the longest time what the Zillo beast is for. We know they are going to clone it, is it part of Palatine's clone version from the sequels? In the clone wars they wanted to improve clone trooper armor and the doctor said that the Zillo beast's armor is perfect for that. I don't think Palpatine cares to upgrade Stormtrooper armor. They did the job they were supposed to overwhelm in numbers. What is the empire's plan?
