What is Obi-Wan Kenobi’s reaction to seeing Darth Vader for the first time in a decade?
The Years Have Not Been Kind..

Obi-Wan Kenobi’s emotional response to the reunion, feeling slightly appalled and muttering something like “Oh my god, what have they done to you? I’m so sorry.” He feels shocked and he feels sympathy for the sorry state of Anakin Skywalker.
In the limited series, we are going to see Anakin or Darth Vader put together by droids and it does not sound pleasant. A crew member said the idea was to not let it seem like Obi-Wan has it worse than the guy who chose the dark side even though evil people often have it better than those that choose the light.
In the second chapter, which involves Leia and Obi-Wan Kenobi is in sad shape, Leia doesn’t trust Kenobi as he seems like an unlikely knight in shining armor. He is a knight but the sheen has worn off after a decade on Tatooine.
Darth Vader believes the dark side is strong and Kenobi is weak. But as we will see, might does not make right, will Anakin catch up to what Kenobi has learned in this series until Return of the Jedi when his son fills him with hope for the first time since the Clone Wars.
