Star Wars: Dark Forces Remaster Release Date Confirmed
The remaster of the 1995 game Star Wars: Dark Forces has a release date set for February 28, 2024. The game is for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and Nintendo Switch. Star Wars: Dark Forces Remaster will run on modern gaming systems with a resolution up to 4K and at 120 frames per second (not on the Switch version). Game play should be upgraded with high-resolution textures, enhanced lighting and rendering, and support for console gamepads with platform-specific features. The remaster was announced back in August 2022, and is being made in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games, the 1995 first-person shooter - which follows mercenary Kyle Katarn as he undertakes a number of covert operations to stop the Empire at the request of the Rebel Alliance. Hopefully more past classics will follow.

Always in motion is the future
The Lucasfilm mastermind breaks down Ahsoka Tano's long journey to the screen — and what might come next. Dave Filoni has explored nearly every corner of the Star Wars galaxy — but he’ll always have a soft spot for Ahsoka Tano. The writer and filmmaker has long been one of Lucasfilm’s most trusted voices, launching animated shows like Clone Wars and Rebels as well as live-action hits like The Mandalorian with co-creator Jon Favreau. But one of his very first projects was collaborating with George Lucas on the 2008 Clone Wars movie. It was then that they first created Ahsoka Tano, Anakin Skywalker’s brash, double lightsaber-wielding Padawan. A decade and a half later, Ahsoka has evolved from quippy teenager to powerful adult warrior, finally stepping into the spotlight with her own Disney+ show, Ahsoka. It’s a grand, planet-hopping story Filoni has wanted to tell for years, reuniting Ahsoka (Rosario Dawson) with old allies and sending her on a journey to a galaxy even farther away. “I’m just glad to get it out there in the first place,” Filoni admits, speaking to EW via Zoom. “Sometimes it’s hard to pick what actually gets made and what doesn’t, and it feels like a real privilege to just be able to create in this world and in this galaxy. That thrill has never gone away in my almost 20 years [at Lucasfilm].” When developing the series, Filoni says he was most interested in how an adult Ahsoka would be affected by her past. After all, she essentially trained as a child soldier in the Clone Wars. Not only did she live through multiple intergalactic regime changes, but she watched her mentor and trusted friend Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen) turn to the Dark Side. As Filoni started outlining early plans for Ahsoka, he found himself thinking about some of the samurai stories and Akira Kurosawa films that originally inspired Lucas, imagining his heroine as a solitary, ronin-like wanderer. “Who is she meant to be now that her whole world has collapsed?” Filoni explains. “It’s not just that the Jedi order fell apart, but her mentor, this person she looked up to, became one of the most evil people in the galaxy. It’s devastating, and I never showed her deal with that. I wanted a character we could watch have that transformation, where she fully accepts not just who she was but what her past was, what the good things were about this mentor she had. It changes who she is and who she can be in the future.” In many ways, Ahsoka is a story about mentors: Not only is Ahsoka reckoning with Anakin’s legacy, but she also becomes a master herself, taking on Mandalorian warrior Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo) as her own Jedi apprentice. Filoni says he particularly wanted to pair Ahsoka with the headstrong and reckless Sabine because the brash young Mandalorian reminded him so much of Anakin. “For Ahsoka, I could see a tendency to want to reach somebody that reminds her of her mentor,” he says, “but I could also see the danger that would be present in that.” Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo) and Ahsoka (Rosario Dawson) in 'Ahsoka'. LUCASFILM He was also intrigued by the idea of a Jedi Padawan who didn’t immediately connect to the Force. Filoni acknowledges that fans may have different opinions and ideas of how Force sensitivity works, but he notes that Lucas always described the Force as something that “binds the galaxy together” and “emanates from all of us,” connecting all living things. So, Filoni explains, every person is connected to the Force, but not everyone has the mental discipline or innate ability to use it and train as a Jedi warrior. For someone like Ahsoka or Luke, it would come much easier than it does for someone like Sabine. “She’s a very talented warrior, but this is not something that’s easy for her, and I think that makes it relatable to people,” he adds. “Generally in Star Wars, we’ve always seen very gifted people be trained, and I wanted to show kind of the opposite. If she achieves her potential, there’s also a danger in that because of the way she is as a warrior. She is prone to anger, and all the things that make Ahsoka concerned could flare up.” In some ways, Ahsoka is a culmination of Filoni’s many fascinations: reluctant masters, headstrong apprentices, mind-bending meditations on the nature of good versus evil. Also, he notes with a laugh, it has space wolves: “There’s a lot of wolves in my work because I simply just like wolves." But even as Filoni reflects on his past, he’s also looking to the future: Lucasfilm has yet to officially announce Ahsoka season 2, but the series finale ends on a cliffhanger, setting up a potential showdown between fan-favorite heroes like Ezra Bridger (Eman Esfandi) and the notorious Grand Admiral Thrawn (Lars Mikkelsen). In the meantime, Filoni is also developing an untitled live-action Star Wars movie, and just a few days after our conversation, Vanity Fair revealed that he’s taking on an expanded role as chief creative officer for Lucasfilm. In other words, it certainly seems like Ahsoka Tano’s story isn’t over yet — whether it continues on TV or on the big screen. Filoni is tight-lipped about how (and when) we might see Dawson pick up her lightsabers again, but he says that even in early development, he had an idea of where this story “should end up.” “I’ve set up several threads that can continue, but if not, I feel like, well, at least I got Ezra home, and that was really important,” he says. “But there’s always a plan. I hope one day we’ll see it. It could be very cool, but it took a while to get [Ahsoka] done, so you never know.” After all, he says with a smile, it’s like Yoda says in The Empire Strikes Back: “Always in motion is the future.” Listen to the full conversation with Dave Filoni on EW's Dagobah Dispatch podcast. New 'Star Wars' Film Set After 'Rise of Skywalker': Daisy is thrilled are you ??
Daisy Ridley to Reprise Role as Rey says she is Thrilled. Are You?? The big question are you happy to see a new movie set after the Rise of Skywalker... According to thedirect.com Following the groundbreaking announcement, many fans took to social media to express their opinions on the matter. Some welcomed Ridley back with open arms, but others were not as enthusiastic about the decision. Sounds like fans are split no surprise really, Rey is a master of the force already, got Luke's lightsaber and the Millennium Falcon in 3 movies I must admit, its good for Daisy and I hope she has a good writer, this time around but I am in no rush to see this film, as I think it is a big project for Kathleen Kennedy to push her agendas again, to change Star Wars movies and lore and try to get one over on George. if Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny is not a success, it could be the downfall of KK & this movie may not get made. At least we are getting a Mandoverse movie with Luke, Din, Grogu, Ahsoka, Bo-Katan, Boba etc. and a new version of Heir to the Empire

The Three Star Wars movies got announced at Star Wars Celebration
3 New Movies Three new films got announced Friday, one will be by James Mangold, the director of Logan. Mangold’s movie will tell the story of the first Jedi, to harness the Force and its power in an unknown era. Dave Filoni’s film is about the war between the Imperial Remnant (Thrawn) and the New Republic (Skywalker) and will have ties to The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, Ahsoka and other Disney+ series. The third film is a project to be directed by Sharmeen Obaid-Chino and has alfeady been involved with changes of direction and staff departures. The film will take place 15 years after The Rise of Skywalker and with Daisy Ridley returning in the role of Rey. it will tell the story of rebuilding the New Jedi Order and the powers that rise to tears it down. Timeline The First Film - Dawn of the Jedi takes place more than 25,000 years before the events of The Phantom Menace and focuses on the discovery of the Force and the first Jedi. The second film - The New Republic era is what directly precedes the sequel trilogy and introduction of the First Order. The timeline which sees the New Republic come to power, with factions of the Empire causing chaos across the galaxy. This period is known by many fans as the MandoVerse, as it will connect the Mandalorian, Ahsoka, The Book of Boba Fett, and Skeleton Crew together. Three Star Wars movies to be announced and Kennedy in the HOT seat...possibly
Three New Star Wars Movies Rumored to be getting announced at this years Star Wars Celebration, which takes place in London on April 7th, according to rumours. Lucasfilm has been away from the theatrical since the disappointing last movie late in 2019, Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker. Lucasfilm has been a bit of a sham recently with reports that Damon Lindelof and Justin Britt-Gibson had left the 2025 Star Wars movie that they were writing together and that the Star Wars script was not good with conflict between the writers, director and Kathleen Kennedy (again). The new stories coming out are firstly, the next film will be directed by Ms. Marvel's Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy and is slated to start production in February 2024 and aimed as being a December 19, 2025 release and Disney are being "very careful" in picking the next Star Wars director, writer, etc. and want to make sure that it is he right one. Above the Line's - Jeff Sneider also clarified further on Twitter, explaining that Obaid-Chinoy is still in line to direct the film and that it will be Lucasfilm's next Star Wars movie. The big thing is, Sneider mentioned the movie currently in development is under the control of director Sharmeed Obaid-Chinoy and could be a decider for Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy and if a Star Wars movie is not released by December 25, 2025, Kennedy would no longer continue running Lucasfilm, basically, If there’s no movie on Christmas Day 2025, there’s no job for her. The second Star Wars film, is set to released in December 2027. Taika Waititi, was announced to be writing and directing a Star Wars movie, its possible that Waititi’s film will be a 2027 release date, meaning the film would have been in development for seven years. The third film being developed is by Shawn Levy and is reported that he was getting to work on his own Star Wars film, with the director later confirming the reports on Twitter and in various interviews. Levy reported he won’t start work until Deadpool 3, has been released & will probably start work, 2024 or 2025, with a possible 2027 but more likely a December 2029, if the current release pattern is followed. Lucasfilm are yet to confirm this information so we shall see what gets announced April 7th.

Lucasfilm Sued
Lucasfilm Sued For “Egregious” Axing Of Producer Karyn McCarthy From ‘Star Wars’ Series ‘The Acolyte’ On the same day it became public that Star Wars projects from Kevin Feige and Patty Jenkins are now dormant, Lucasfilm has been hit with a breach of contract lawsuit over the upcoming The Acolyte. FULL STORY HERE - https://deadline.com/2023/03/star-wars-series-the-acolyte-lawsuit-lucasfilm-karyn-mccarthy-1235282595/ Not a surprise this is happening as there seems to be a controversy with every production involving Kathleen Kennedy.. The Force Awakens - Arndt was fired, and Abrams teamed up with then-consultant Lawrence Kasdan The Last Jedi - Hiring of Rian Johnson and Luke Skywalker controversy Rise of Skywalker - Trevorrow and his writing team were fired from the project titled Duel of the Fates. Rogue One - Gary Whitta was hired to write the script but was later dismissed and replaced by Chris Weitz, whose final drafts differed greatly from Whitta's. director Gareth Edwards was fired deep in the post-production process Solo - Directors had clashed with Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy and got removed from the project Kenobi - original writers for the Kenobi trilogy, Stuart Beattie spent over a year developing the film on which the Obi-Wan Kenobi series was based. writer left the project after the movie was canceled Was a film trilogy then a tv series. New writer Joby Harold revealed that he had no idea that Kenobi knew that Anakin Skywalker became Darth Vader. Acolyte - Leslye Headland Hired A Writer Who Has Not Seen 'Star Wars. I must admit with this being a Kathleen Kennedy driven project I have no expectation on this series at all. Kenobi and BOBF did not meet the wishes of the fans was good and to not great in parts. I think this will be worse as KK has no respect for the lore of Star Wars or the fans. It has production issues, problems with the script, even Jon and Dave moved on from it. The warning signs are there already, I guess we shall see, hopefully it is not a told you so prediction...

Why does Kathleen Kennedy Hate Luke Skywalker ???
She does hate Luke Skywalker I have no doubt. Not sure if you know in Episode 7, Luke was suppose to have a big role, it got changed due to Kathleen Kennedy influence and Luke got a tiny spot. In episode 8 she did not oppose Rians script and let what happened to Luke, happen, which was shameful. In Book of Boba Fett the reason why Grogu returned to Din, she had a big say & did not want Luke to train him and used Marketing purposes etc. to get Grogu back to Din, Favreau has nearly walked due to KK influence on the Mandalorian and in Skeleton Crew, Luke was suppose to appear but has been removed so in the future, you may see a scene with Luke and Ahsoka, where she is looking for Luke. I predict the Acolyte will annoy fans and be a flop..

Mandalorian Series 4
Jon Favreau announced he is he’s already written the fourth season of the series. In his word - "I’ve written it already. We have to know where we’re going, to tell a fully formed story, so we mapped it out Dave and I and slowly you write each episode." He was writing during post production (Of Season 3) because all of it needs to feel like a continuation and one full story. More.. Filming of season 4 should begin this, October at Manhattan Beach Studios, California. Also some additional information, there will be new armour for Moff Gideon, his stormtroopers and a new jetpack for Din. Rian Johnson created the line - let the pass die kill it if you have to he was successful doing it to TLJ. Three wishes for Star Wars 2023
If you could pick three wishes that you would like to come true in Star Wars what would they be?? My Three would be 1. I would like them to announce new movies featuring Manadalorian or Grogu or both, set in the future. 2. Star Wars has not been the same since the LJ so I would like to see the Whills bring Luke back and say he has a son. 3. Lucasfilm move on from Kath Kennedy as she disrespects the fans, George and her being in charge has been a disaster and it could have been easier and fantastic if she kept her promises. Well they are wishes would be happy if one came true 🤞
