Note, there was a leak trailer about the movie, mostly some 3d and vfx video with the stunt actor in the Mando suit, as i think they started filming recently and probably Pascal will share the voiceover only idk. The trailer is blocked but i will try to explain what i have seen on it without sharing pics from it as idk if it can get copy stuff.
We start with some recap / flashback from the last seasons of the show, with Mando now taking the role as a bounty hunter for the New Republic (the hangar from last season), now with Grogu fully as his side.
It´s shown an action scene with mando taking down some Imp Snow Troopers and pointing his weapons towards some Imperial high command that had a meeting (i think they are the warlords from S3, at least some of them). They had this meeting in a snowly planet that i think it's Illum (it could be Hoth, or a new planet).
I remember using this one for an older post, i dont remember how exactly they look libe, but its either this or like Solo troopers on the train.There is a new Razorcrest, same model but different ship since the og got blasted away in S2, wonder where´s the N1 starfighter then, retconned?
Zeb shows up! He tells Mando good luck, so at least he is not going alone on the mission for now.
There are mostly action sequence with Mando taking some Snowtroopers in a hallway, all filmed by a Mouse droid, while there are alert sirens and some garrison reinforcements. So that means at least some amount of soldiers and weapons for the mandalorian to take himself alone..
Another shot at last with Mando riding with Grogu an AT-RT Walker from TCW and Revenge of the sith in the snow, with the shot finishing with Mando facing some AT-AT
Last, we see more of babu Frick of the sequels and S3 with grogu again
Now what we could expect from this movie? Probably a lot of cameos, so like an attempt of LF to get back the fandom with characters like Zeb, Bo Katan, The Armorer and so on. Luke? Probably, but without soul and purpouse it's meaningless. The baddie? They can pull a "palpatine" with Gideon again, or bring Pallaeon. The movie perhaps takes place during Ahsoka, so Thrawn can show up right at the end of it. We need to wait until 2025 to get a proper trailer, May 2026 it's release i think.
