After announcing a May 25, 2022 premiere release date on Disney+, Lucasfilm and Disney decided to change and launch the Disney series two days later.

Obi Wan Kenobi will make his big comeback on May 27, 2022 on Disney+ worldwide. In any case, it was Ewan McGregor himself who took charge of the announcement, published on social networks for a short video.

After choosing Wednesday as the broadcast day for its exclusive series, this could mark a return to the Friday box for upcoming Disney productions.

Fans will have to wait two more days to see McGregor again as the Jedi master of the Star Wars saga. Note, however, that Disney will broadcast two episodes of the series from launch day.
