Bossk'wassak'Cradossk, known more commonly as Bossk, was a Trandoshan bounty hunter and the son of Cradossk, who was known to hunt Wookiees. During the Clone Wars, Bossk worked alongside bounty hunters Aurra Sing and Castas to guide the young orphan Boba Fett. His plan to kill Fett's hated enemy, Jedi Master Mace Windu, resulted in the arrest of Fett and Bossk. After a brief stint in jail, Bossk worked for Krayt's Claw, Boba Fett's syndicate of bounty hunters, working for clients such as Otua Blank and Asajj Ventress.

Following the rise of the Galactic Empire, Bossk traveled to the Outer Rim planet of Lothal to capture the Dug criminal Gronson Takkaro, for whom a bounty was being offered in the Ahakista system. During his journey to Lothal, Bossk teamed up with Force-sensitive orphan Ezra Bridger to stop the corrupt Lieutenant Jenkes of the Imperial Security Bureau. After the Battle of Hoth, Bossk was called by Darth Vader to find and capture the Millennium Falcon.
