Take place prior to the events of A New Hope
Obi-Wan falls asleep on the desert sands of Tatooine. His skin and mind scorched by the desert sun. Yet, in this moment he can find time to sleep.
His dream starts with a peaceful memory. A younger version of himself and Anakin were going up an elevator towards Padme’s room, joking around. Yet, the dream took a path of its own. When obi-wan leaves the elevator he notices Anakin appears to be missing. He looks all around Padme’s quarters for any sign of his apprentice.
He asks Padme, “Have you seen Anakin?”
“I thought he was with you,” Padme was confused by Obi-Wan’s statement
It then dawns on him, the last time he saw Anakin was the elevator.
He goes towards the elevator to hear heavy breathing from behind the door, “Anakin this isn’t the time to joke around.”
Obi-Wan presses the button to open the door in front of him. The door slide by to reveal Darth Vader standing their in his armored suit. He grabs his red lightsaber, and walks with great menace towards Obi-Wan. Moving slowly back out of fear, Obi-Wan eventually reaches a wall blocking his path. Vader looming over him with his red lightsaber in hand. The sithlord then prepares to strike Obi-Wan down.
Obi-Wan then wakes up ungracefully, breathing heavily. After calming himself down he turns around to grab his water canteen. Yet, this peace didn’t last.
Once he turned around he saw Anakin crawling towards him on the desert sand. His skin brunt and his eyes yellow like he his memories of him on Mustafar. He reached towards Obi-Wan screaming, “I hate you.”
Obi-Wan finally wakes up for real to see Qui-Gon standing by his camp. Qui-Gon exclaim, “Perhaps Yoda was right about Anakin. He was too old, he was too emotional.”
Obi-Wan replies, “It wasn’t your fault, Master. I wasn’t ready when I took Anakin on as a apprentice. If I only had more training, he could have turned out a great Jedi.”
“He was a great Jedi. Remember Dooku. Not every great Jedi Knight stays in the light, but we are all tempted by the Dark Side.”
“Perhaps your right, master.” Obi-Wan still felt at fault for Anakin’s betrayal.
“Luckily you get a second chance in Luke,” Qui-Gon continued.
Obi-Wan got angry, “He has too much Anakin in him. I don’t want to make the same mistake.”
“Maybe he has less of his father in him than you think,” Qui-Gon informed before disappearing in the desert wind.February 7, 2018 at 3:48 pm #6128

I like it.
As said above, it would be a really nice scene to have in the movie as I think that it would be a very plausible thing to happen. Obi-Wan would have been haunted by this event for the rest of his life.
