I am currently watching the bad Batch and theory s breakdown videos and I got a little confused about his use of Order 66.

I feel like his underlying Definition of Order 66 is wrong, but I am not sure and wanted to get some explanation about it if I am wrong.

My understanding is, that order 66 is hardwired into the inhibiter Chip as an objective that is (only) about killing all Jedi for treason. This is just a single objective and does not affect them in non Jedi related areas. The continued obedience to the empire is just the general obedience of their genetic makeup + the added influence of the inhibiter chip. The activation of the chip starts at the same time as Order 66 but isn't the same thing. The clones do the same thing they always did, Being soldiers for one entity. The chip only comes to effect if the orders get moraly ambitious.

In theory's breakdown videos he often refers to clones that, don't like what the empire does, or are hesitant, as fighting order 66 or not being affected by order 66.

To me this is just normal behaviour as nothing has to controll them until an order is due. They did develop own experiences and ideas that alter their behaviour a little. Specially higher ranking officers. But the moment they would be ordered to kill a child they still would do it.

It is very frequently used in episode 11:

Because the clone general isn't reporting a minor offence of hera he isn't blindly following order 66. To me it's just a slap on the wrist for an old friend that doesn't define order 66 (as order 66 is about jedi) or against the inhibiter chip. It does not go against any order. Unless the empire has a directive for every possible scenario a clone can still decide if and how they would react to undefined instances. They would only need to fight the chip if they get an order they don't want to do.

So basically my 2 questions are:

What is order 66? Is it the specific objective to kill jedi thatvis also enforced by the chip. or is it a increase in obedience in general?

Are clones affected by it in day to day activity?
