I'm currently reading through the Darth Bane trilogy, and I'm loving it. I'm finding Bane an intriguing, powerful and brilliantly sadistic character. Which leads to the purpose of this post;

Who wins in a one on one fight between Darth Bane and Emporer Palpatine? It's a fan fiction film scene I'd love to see, and I can't wait to read some of your theories in the comments. Who are you picking, and why? And how would the fight play out?
