A few years ago I heard that J.J. Abrams wrote drafts of the next two episodes for the sequel trilogy. A lot of comments and articles I saw claimed that, since he was not involved with TLJ and wasn't planning to be part of TROS, he did not have any plans for the stories of these films. Please note this does not mean I think there ever a plan, but more a rough idea of what would happen for the films that was ultimately discarded for a more "on the fly" approach. Then I started seeing articles from Screenrant (not my favorite source of information but a source nonetheless) regarding these drafts.

I found nothing concrete about these drafts aside from this and a few other articles. However, I did see but a reddit post with a link to image files of what was supposed to be his drafts. It has been too long for me to find the post again, but I did save the images and compiled them into a pair of multi-page PDF files. However, the first image I saw had a warning that sharing them was illegal, and I have doubts that these are legitimate anyway since they were shared by some random person on the internet.

Anyway, have you heard anything about these, and if so what were they? I only started reading the PDFs, but I am hesitant to considering (aside from the legal part of course) that I am not a huge fan of Abrams' directing style. Sure, he can make some great visuals--especially in his reboot films--but the plots of those films always seem very weak by comparison to other films that they are connected to. All in all, I still wish that we had gotten George Lucas' vision for the sequels, or maybe something that aligned with the EU novels of whatever time period they were set in.
