Hello!!
(please ignore the fact that I didn't post in about a millennia <3)
Last post, I had an idea for a CORSEC show so now I am going to expand on that. The main premise of the show, I have already explained in my last post so this is what I wrote:
Basically it's how a bunch of CorSec Officers figuring out all the horrible things the Empire does and defecting to the Rebellion. Obviously, it's going to be dark because...cops.
So the characters consist of a young police officer in his early twenties, an older one in his mid thirties and an officer in his forties. The oldest of them has a family, the one in his thirties is..a Kyp Durron type character (I have no idea how to describe that) and one whose basically in love with the empire in his forties.
This is so fanfic-y... but like I am just going to get into it. Ya'll will see their personalities through the story :)
Ok so our main characters are
- Officer Jax Morven: A young, idealistic officer in his early twenties, eager to make a difference.
- Detective Kade Soren: An experienced officer in his mid-thirties with a troubled past and a rebellious streak, reminiscent of Kyp Durron.
- Captain Roran Telvar: A seasoned officer in his forties, deeply loyal to the Empire, but whose convictions are tested.
- Sergeant Darin Kelso: A pragmatic officer in his forties with a family, torn between his duty and protecting his loved ones.
And they are all buddies..sort of.
So the first episode is Jax Moren joining Corsec and getting put into a unit with Kelso, Soren and Telvar and they get to explore a few mysteries revolving around missing people. Twist is, these disappearances are linked to the Empire. So it goes a bit like this:
- We get introduced to Jax Moren, fixing his hair and all that looking in his mirror, nervous for his first day as an officer in the Empire. His entire life, he has only known the iron-fisted rule of the Empire, yet he has not been copiously affected. He grew up in a wealthy family-his father was a prominent politician on Naboo that abundantly supported Emperor Palpatine before and after his rise to power, and the Emperor had a soft-spot - if it could be described as such - for Dorla Moren. Dorla Moren had married a prominent physician from Naboo, Aria Viela, and had Jax Moren a month after Palpatine took over the senate. Palpatine had promoted Dorla because of his incredible aid towards the transitioning of the Republic to the Empire and encouraged him to embolden Jax to join the Empire when he grew older. Jax’s mother calls him down, reminiscing on Jax’s life, and the danger he is about to get into. All his life, Jax had been raised to be and Imperial patriot. Dorla and Aria had opted to shield Jax from the atrocities of the Empire, however, now, Aria doubted this decision. She had always wanted her son to succeed in whatever field he chose to enter (though she knew it was a given Jax would join the Imperial military-her husband had as good as given a blood oath to the Emperor), but she wanted him to do this with integrity and nobility. Jax was inherently a good person and believed the Empire was too. Would he ever be safe? She would not voice her concerns. Merely look him up and down, with a prideful, motherly smile. In typical posh fashion, she held out both hands to hug her son, already taller than her. You can imagine what happened afterwards. The family passes around a few light-hearted jokes and words of encouragement and Jax and Dorla head off. Jax, boyishly, does not want to show up to work with his father-much to Dorla’s exasperation. He is greeted at work by Kade Soren, who’s immediately suspicious of and bothered by Jax. Roran Telvar is neutral to the boy while Daren Kelso, who is a good friend of Dorla’s, takes the boy under his wing and helps him settle in. This conflicts Jax-he’s being looked down upon by Telvar but is (sort of) affectionately viewed by Kelso and Telvar. At the end of the episode, Soren introduces an assignment. Four missing persons cases, all seemingly linked. Two women by the name of Nyssa Solon, a twi'lek pilot, and Tessara Korr, a coruscanti crime lord, along with two men- Tado Fade, a falleen male who was an officer in the Empire and Azar Tafe, a smuggler-known to have connections with Tessara Korr.
(I’m giving DF a run for his money-)
Anyway, this is it for the first episode. DISNEY PLEASE I AM HANDING THIS TO YOU ON A SILVER PLATTER. Let me know if you liked or disliked it!
