Hello :)

Fair warning, this is gonna be all Legends books (except for one) because I am not quite fond of the Disney books. Basically, these books are only the books I have read and if you have any suggestions please give :)

1. Red Harvest

Red Harvest is one of my top 5 books of all time and if you've read it you would know exactly why. From the cover to the contents the book gives off the vibes of a horror story (which it is). It's written by Joe Schreiber who also wrote Maul: Lockdown and Death Troopers so this book was obviously going to written masterfully. Schreiber is wonderful at writing Zombie stories and this book is definitely the epitome of it. I loved Death Troopers but this was so good. Combined with the horror of the Sith and their actions and how disturbing they are before any of the "Zombie stuff" even starts definitely makes this an enthralling read. I loved the multiple characters that the book followed. It didn't just focus on Nickter or Mnah but revolved around different people including Pergus, Kindra, Jura and Hestizo. I know a lot of people who hate reading books about just one person and having to follow only them for the entirety of the book so this book is really good for people who like to jump around from story to story and not get bored. Not only that, but it's very satisfying how all the mini stories come together in the ending. The scene which stuck with me was in Chapter 5, when Darth Scaborous makes a bounty hunter eat his partner who has been boiled and turned into a soup, in exchange for his life.

2. Maul Lockdown

The prison book 😭🥹

It was so good but I was a bit uncomfortable while reading it because it was taking place in a prison which definitely did not sit right with me (and neither did the cover-). Maul being brutal as always was a very nice to read about and the entire plotline about him having to get the Nuclear device was really well done, I loved it so much. The Syrox was crazy but not as much as the obsessed Cannibal gang. The fight between Weequay and Maul was really well written and so fun, I was on the edge of my seat flipping through the pages. I like how Maul, being so brutal, was also humanized-he was already humanized in Rebels and TCW, I know but-despite his brutality and his bloodthirsty behavior the books doesn't fail to show us that Darth Maul was just broken. Other than that the book was so good (except for the cover that was a bit goofy).

(Also was Vong foreshadowing for the Yuzhaan Vong War?)

Pookie core 💕Pookie core 💕

3.  I, Jedi

We are literally jumping a gazillion books here💀

I, Jedi was such a fun book to read, when it first arrived to my house I was jumping up and down because, having already read the other books, I was so excited to read through Corran Horn's perspective and I know a lot of people don't like this book for it's pace but it's so wonderful, especially in first person. I read the X-wing series before so I bought this book quicker than lightspeed. Corran Horn is one of the most interesting characters and after reading this it felt like I understood all the other books much better (such as FoTJ when Valin and Sella got "possessed". Not a lot more to say about it except that it was really fun.

The pose 😍😍😍The pose 😍😍😍

4. Courtship of Princess Leia

Basic book but it's really well written. Han being head over heels for Leia was so adorable and the entire book was so fun to read until...

LUKE HAD TENSION WITH TENEL KA'S MOM AND GRANDMA?!! WTH TWHDIFUDIFU

Anyway, I liked the development of each character and you can really see how much Han and Leia's relationship progressed and the introduction of the Hapes Consortium was very interesting and a really good read. I think the best part about the book was the feeling it provided. It genuinely felt so refreshing even though I knew what happened in the future. The new government, Leia's position, her character, the reveal of HAN SOLO BEING A KING. I made this post ONLY because I wanted to talk about him being a KING. And being related to Thorm. This information re-setted my brain 💀

Teneniel was a whole mood, her entire character is something I fell in love with the moment I read about her. I wrote a post about writing good female characters and Teneniel is the literal definition of a strong woman. The entirety of the Hapes Consortium and Dathomir are the DEFINITION of a strong woman (dw am making another post about how Disney is goofy). Isolder's mom existing hurt my existence because, she was a little..concerning :) Isolder's character is really fun to read and It makes the things she says about him later on, really make sense. In one of the FoTJ (Can you tell FoTJ is my fav SW book series?) book, Allana says that all Hapan men are yes man and Isolder is definitely the one huge exception to this.

THE RANCOR 😊😭😭THE RANCOR 😊😭😭

Ok that's all!!
