I'm trying to get a friend of mine started on The Old Republic (which I myself haven't used in a while because I only just got my pc replaced), so I have been constructing a Google Drive folder with resources that will get him caught up on the lore. So far I have included the four novels, six cinematics, the encyclopedia, the Journal of Gnost-Dural, the Galactic Timeline Holovid series, and the KOTOR campaign guide (this is in there because I have seen it used as a source for a lot of things on Wookieepedia that relate to SWTOR and that era). I also have 4 comic series': Tales of the Jedi, Knights of the Old Republic and its follow-up miniseries War, and the SWTOR comics. I don't want to overwhelm him, but I was checking to see if there was anything else I needed, such as the Dawn of the Jedi comics since they explore the origins of the Jedi and SWTOR's main Jedi campaign starts on Tython. Since the Darth Bane trilogy is also listed as part of that era and references to KOTOR and TOTJ, should I include those as well? Darth Malgus' rebellion against the Sith Empire seems to foreshadow Bane's manipulations of the Brotherhood of Darkness in the 7th Battle of Ruusan, so I feel like having that under his belt might make that storyline more enjoyable for him. Any other resources or suggestions would be very helpful.
