People's criticism of Dave Filoni from the Acolyte

Quick post. Lots of people are using the acolyte to trash on Filoni because he approved the show, he said he supports Leslie and he somehow was involved in the making of the show and its decisions. While some of this is plausible in that we don't know the full story so we can't confirm it so speculation is fine, a lot of it is actually unfair.  Picture this: you are a very important figure for creatives in a large franchise. You love this franchise with all your heart, its always on ur mind and its ur dream to be where you are. Then, ur boss hires someone who might not be as intelligent as you but shares the same passion, at least pretends to but you don't know. Since you are in the position that you are in, you don't want to lose this opportunity. So you take it upon yourself to guide the new person but you can't do everything for them because you have your own projects to work on. So all you can do is give some pointers here and there. Then interviews start happening, it doesn't matter what your opinion is, you are under pressure and under contracts/nda's where you can't speak negatively and there is a whole list of things you can't mention or talk about. Also keep in mind, you don't want to say or do anything that may give reason for your bosses to fire you. So you keep quiet and play the part. See the problem?  There is so much we don't know so reasons such as "Filoni let Acolyte happen" or "Dave is responsible to how bad Acolyte is" is extremely unfair. You can criticise Dave for Mando 3 and Ahsoka, thats fine. Even if we don't know everything about his contributions, we can assume that the writing belongs to Dave since hes in the credits for both writer, director and producer positions.  Alright, thats it from me, thanks for reading and MTFBWY!

The Acoshiet: the lack of film competency (mild spoilers)

I watched the first episode of the acoshiet so you don't have to and I will confirm that you don't have to watch it. Its not worth it because if the first episode tells me anything, its that the showrunner, lesbi headland, has no experience in writing a show.  I want to be as unbiased as possible so I'll be fair and praise as much as I can before I get into the problems I had with the first episode. Trust me, this wont take long. First of all, the scene transitions actually isn't too bad. It kinda gives me star wars animation vibes. I know its rly stretching it, but I did appreciate it. They tried to give it the classic PT and sw feel and the attempt to me is more important than the execution just because I don't have high hopes for it in the first place. The music wasn't too bland, it was fine. There was a variety of alien species, a bit unimaginative tho but still, aliens is always better than seeing more humans. The fight choreography at the start with the martial arts wasn't too bad. It would be fine if it was a standard martial arts film however its a star wars film and the two fighters were force users so......... it felt slightly out of place but regardless, I still appreciated that. Okay yeah thats all I got for the good stuff.  Now for the bad. Where do I begin. I'll start small then get to the plot progression stuff. First of all, the jedi robes look off and feel off. Something about it was..... weird to me. Next, we got shirtless hot man scene, completely unnecessary and adds no value to anything. It wasn't even funny. It was just awkward cause a female minor was present. A lil sus there leslie. Next, the scene where the jedi master was in a room with younglings. The lesson was closing their eyes and then connect with the force then telling him what they saw. They said stuff like "balance" and "life". I'm sorry, what? You don't just throw star wars buzz words like that. These are younglings. Idk, smth about that was weird to me. Next, all characters lack chemistry. I get that they are all supposed to not have attachment but if George was able to do it, its not an excuse. Also, Leslie's wife has hyper RBF.  Okay thats the small stuff. Lets get to the big issues. Firstly, WORLD BUILDING and political climate. Its non existent. I don't know anything about anything or anyone. Its pretty similar to the ST in that regard. The world just feels so damn small and I don't know how any of the governments or people in power work or what theyre like, how they communicate and discuss on going issues. They haven't said anything about the senate, we havent seen any senators and there was no mention of a larger galaxy.  I'll skip the mild issues cause I don't wanna talk about this anymore so I'll make it quick. The biggest issue with this other than the stupid plot is that there is no set up. Usually in any movie and tv show, you are shown some back story, some sort of beginning so we can view things from the main character's perspective. Even if the story is set in media res like ANH is, you still get a sense of where things are at, whats happening. This show however, I'm just confused. We didn't get a scene of the main character escaping from the fire. In fact, theres nothing interesting about anyone. The very first scene of the series is the main character's twin awkwardly challenge a jedi master to a duel in a cantina. why was any of this happening. Out of nowhere she went to the jedi master's table and suddenly got into a fighting stance. Do you have any idea just how awkward that is. Also, why the jedi master didn't just chop off her arms like what Obi-Wan would have done is beyond me. Later in the episode, when the protagonist twin gets framed, and her old master finds out, what happens? The master word vomits at the audience. He tells us everything. This here is the biggest issue. Leslie doesn't understand how to write a story. If a character tells you everything, why would you care. If a character tells you half truths, then the acting, camera work and music tell a different story, you are more invested in it because you question, why did she tell a lie? or what else isnt she telling us? You are suddenly more invested in it. Its even worse that we don't even get a BOBF flash back when the jedi master guy is talking about the protagonist's traumatic event. flash backs are the absolute laziest way of showing us events, but at least it does something. Leslie decided to skip everything and just tell us everything then expect us to stay invested.  Okay I wrote way more than I wanted to. I'll just leave it at that and not edit it. That is my raw unedited opinion. Its off to a horrific start. While its still possible that all my points are redundant and are answered in later episodes, knowing lucasfilm and how sw live action shows generally are, I doubt it will get better. Thanks for reading and MTFBWY!

Tales of the Empire: A let down

Before I dig in, I will need to clarify that these tales series are shorts, not full episodes. They are not supposed to tell full stories but are meant to showcase events. From that perspective, you see that appropriate sense of time is irrelevant. However, that doesn't fix the issue of exterior stories and canon. I will explain this later. I will also say that I won't be talking about Morgan's episodes because I genuinely don't care about her. Shes just another background character to me. Last thing, I will only talk about animation and film canon and not anything legends or in comics and novels. With that, lets begin. Barriss Episode 1: I don't have any negative things to say about this episode. It was a strong start, it was fun, it was great. Well I guess the only complaint I have was the blood. I get that Star Wars has had blood in scenes before, but I'm not a fan of it. It takes the TCW feel right out of it. Other than that, it was great. The character designs were great, especially Lyn. I actually really like her character design. The grand inquisitor looked pretty okay for the most part, maybe a slightly bigger head and slightly less pocky face wave bumps would have improved it but still, he looks pretty good. The fight choreography was pretty neat, a bit more martial arts rather than angry brawling than usual which is always nice to see. We also got to see the first generation of inquisitors (I assume thats the case). The one who lost to Ahsoka sadly didn't get any lines but his mere presence stole the shots he was in imo. Barriss Episode 2: Again, super strong start. We see Barriss learning from Lyn and having her own disagreements. The slaughtering of the innocent was a great scene cause inquisitors are evil and they really need to own it. The huge problem starts right after the jedi gets sliced. HIS SPINE WAS SLICED UP, HOW HE IS EVEN CLOSE TO BEING ALIVE. I dont care if it grazed him, the writers already showed how brutal Lyn is so why she didn't just behead him is just rly stupid to me. If Lyn never killed and only knocked people out, then fine, this makes sense. But she slaughtered like 30 people without mercy and without caring. Lightsabers just dont kill anymore I guess. Also, Barriss over powering Lyn as well with a force push, thats just messed up. I'm sorry, but Barriss trained as a healer. She beat Ahsoka by ambushing her and setting up traps, using every advantage possible. Lyn looks like a Jedi knight and trained in the darkside way longer than Barriss did so theres no way she could do that. I could get behind it if Barriss was an actual fighter like Ahsoka was. The episode as a whole was solid, the ending was not great. Barriss Episode 3: The worst offender. I get that this show is a series of shorts, but that doesnt excuse the poor decision. Fans have waiting and speculated on Barriss's character arc post Order 66 and this is what we get. If we got a TCW arc dedicated to her, then fine, this is a pretty nice way to "end" her journey (idk if its her end, probably not but for now it is). We already got a happy ending type of thing with TBB, we didn't need another one 3 days after. I agree with Theory on this, Barriss's story is and needs to be tied to Ahsoka's. Barriss was introduced as a foil to Ahsoka. Her relationship with Luminara was the opposite to Ahsoka and Anakin. Barriss was more obedient, respectful and disciplined while Ahsoka was snippy, agitating, immature and rogue. Barriss becoming an inquisitor is a good progression (I would talk about all the galaxy politics and self preservation reasoning for this but nah, not today) just like Ahsoka becoming Fulcrum is. So when they meet up again before the events of Rebels, they would have a rivalry akin to Obi-Wan and Maul. We could very easily get a super huge story about that. But instead of the interesting route, they go for this. Don't get me wrong, its fine but when you consider her place in canon, its a waste. Barriss's story is a substory of Ahsoka's. The proof is that she has no character without Ahsoka as she did not have any episodes dedicated to her alone in TCW. Her very existence is to either to be a foil to Ahsoka or to better her development.  thats it from me, thanks for reading and MTFBWY!

Writing A Fanfiction

Lets just say I am in desperate need of some writing assistance. I have a start to a sorta short spy fanfiction story but idk how to connect the dots and make it work. If you have an idea, please do reply in the comments briefly but if you have a whole script or at least ideas that go super in depth then I'd much rather a dm than in comments teehee. If ur interested, the next paragraph is a basic outline for the story. For anyone who wants to give me ideas, just know that if I like it enough, I'll dm you with hyper depth of the story and its details and then I might turn it into an animation. Story is set not too long after Ahsoka crafts her white lightsabers. She is working alongside a small rebel cell, smth similar to what Rex and Echo are doing at this time. Her mission is to get intel from either a small imperial outpost or an imperial ship database.  Beginning scene: Scene starts off with showing the small city and then the bar. Here we have two random throwaway characters who briefly give us information about what the working conditions are like. Ahsoka, sitting on the other side of the bar hears what they say about clones and frowns. As the two throwaway characters finish their drinks and head off, Ahsoka hears an imperial cargo transport outside so she finishes her drink and begins walking out the bar to the imperial transport. HERE IS WHERE IM STUCK -Ahsoka stowaways in the transport -Ahsoka arrives at the place, does spy stuff and gets the intel -Ahsoka calls her droid who is flying her ship for a pickup -Ahsoka escapes with the intel And thats the end. . . . So..... any ideas? The stuff I need help with is: how does she get into the transport undetected and unseen. What is the place like that she steals intel from. Where does she steal it from. Are there a fight scene or is this 100% stealth. If fight scene, whats it like, big or small? Lightsaber or not? force or not? Should I add details that make sequel episodes possible? stuff like that Anyways, thanks for reading and possibly sending ideas. MTFBWY!

Tales of the Empire Episode Plot Predictions

Cool trailer but........ I don't quite understand why they chose to do Empire instead of more Jedi or do some sith related stuff (inquisitors don't count). But regardless, if its animation, I'll take it. As usual, the animation is fricken awesome and soooooooooooooo beautiful. Also GREVIOUS LOOKS SO POLISHED. Aight so lets get into this. Morgan Okay, shes a weird choice and I genuinely dont care about this character so this will be short. Ep1 Obviously its her backstory so her first episode is another perspective of the dathomir genocide during TCW. Whether we'll see ventress again is up in the air, I doubt it but its possible. This probably ends with Morgan escaping or smth. Maybe Mother Talzin has a quite chat with her, idk. Ep2 Probably about how she met thrawn and her first mission with him. Not much else I think Ep3 The direct tie in with Mandalorian. It will probably be about how she ends up in that village and and whats happens from there. Barris Offee I think we all knew she became an inquisitor but...... there is a bit more than that. It gets interesting. Ep1 I think it will be an Order 66 episode since that is something we all have been dying to know. What happened to her and how did she survive it. Obviously she immediately gets caught and gets transferred to the inquisitor base place. I'm guessing order 66 didn't happen in prisons. And that would be my guess. I think Barriss was kept in a separate cell from the other inmates and so when order 66 happened, she was easily relocated.  Ep2 The foil to Ahsoka. You heard me. Ahsoka's episode in TOTJ "practice makes perfect" starts off with Ahsoka being all confident and pissy, she gets humbled and her master shows her tough love, she practices and practices and the real application is shown at the end. I think Barriss's episode will mirror this. She will start off afraid and unwilling, her master, the grand inquisitor, will pull her out of that state through training BUT it will be the opposite of tough love...... it will be brute torturous training and indoctrination. At the end, I think instead of showing the success of hard work, it will show Barriss bowing to Vader as a symbol of never ending slavery, aka no success.  Ep3 I think this episode will have a time jump. Could be long, could be short. I dont have enough information for an educated guess. However, I think it would be an important inquisitor mission. Maybe she fights Ahsoka? Maybe she runs into TBB. Maybe theres no huge connection and its just Barriss on a side quest and stopping some rebels. Juries still out. But u know me, if its possible for Ahsoka to appear, u know damn well I will talk about it. But unlike the brainless Ahsoka stans on social media, I don't just say "Ahsoka might appear" without a logical reason that both works within the confines of the universe and narratively. I want you to look at the scene where the 4 inquisitors bow to Vader. More specifically, I want you to look at HIM. The one of the right Looks familiar doesnt he? Well he dies in TOTJ "The Inquisitor". He is the one Ahsoka kills. Him being alive here means that Barriss becomes a full fledged inquisitor before Ahsoka joins the Rebellion. This means that this scene is before the TOTJ episode. It is possible that at the end of Barris Ep2, they bow to Vader and this inquisitor gets the call to the village that Ahsoka is hiding in. Then in Ep3 of Barriss, Vader finds out that the inquisitor died since he never came back and Barriss is sent to recover his body, which she does. She finds that a lightsaber killed him. In her mind, that means its a jedi (even though he died by his own blade but she doesnt know that). This becomes her mission, to find the Jedi who killed him. After sometime of searching, may she finds a record of a ship going to that planet, she finds the old man, the girl and her brother. They give up a name, Ahsoka. Barriss then finds Ahsoka and then they fight. At this point, Ahsoka would have her white lightsabers (probably) and Barriss gets her ass handed to her but Ahsoka refuses to kill her. Barriss goes back to Vader empty handed and he kills her.  Thats my random guess for a plot. Might be a bit too much for a short but eh who cares. This is if I only consider in universe possibilities. We know that Filoni said that he has plans for Barriss. That means that its more than likely that Barriss doesn't die in this series. So instead of reporting back to Vader empty handed and dying while also following stupid disney tropes, Barriss after losing to Ahsoka uses this opportunity to fake her death  or smth. Something that will cut her ties with the empire and she goes off on her own like reva-sue.  To be super realistic tho, its probably just her first mission which is to hunt down and kill a jedi as shown here: Extras Who is this? That supposed to be Mother Talzin or smth? And who is this guy? . . . . . . Okay thats it from me, thanks for reading and MTFBWY!

I Recreated the unused Ahsoka Model

I've spent a little time almost every day for the past month and a half tryna figure out a way to create THIS model: However, since the image is not the final product of the model, I had to make some adjustments to it because I didn't know what certain things were. My model is mostly complete and is pretty much animation ready. Its fully rigged, the lightsabers and its blade trails are done, all the drivers and settings are designed to be convenient for animation (ill showcase some in the video demo later). Here is my final product: Really quickly about how I made the mode, Ahsoka's face and body that isn't covered by clothes or gloves aren't created by me. I reused the siege of mandalore model to do it and the shapes of her body and gloves were also reused. Other than that, the textures and boots were myself. Oh and the lightsabers were all me. Now, lets do some story time about this model in canon. This was supposed to be used before Siege of Mandalore, if I had to guess it was going to be the model for the arc where the Jedi found the sith temple under their temple and then Ahsoka comes really close to facing Palps. Remember that one? I think that's the one. But since that arc never really got to the animatics stage, non of the designs were ever started. Only the plans. Because of this, I don't have all the information to recreate the model so instead what I did was I used the TOTJ model from The Inquisitor as inspiration for the parts I didn't know what to do. For example, her lekku band thing is not very clear so I just recreated the one we saw in TOTJ, the clothes textures are a bit hard to see and recreate so I just did my best to replicate the one from TOTJ. Other than Ahsoka's skin, all the other textures were done procedurally. Since this model was basically during the time when Ahsoka didn't have lightsabers and I will be using this for post Order 66 fanfics and early rebellion stuff, I don't know what to do with the lightsabers. The model doesn't have pockets and Ahsoka would never hang her lightsabers on her belt because shes supposed to be hiding her jedi past. Much like Kanan, he doesn't use lighsabers unless necessary. So what can I do here? Maybe her thigh hanging pocket thing (although I think that is for binoculars or smth so idk, if I can't come up with anything then I'll probably just go with that.) Anyways, what do you guys think? Any comments about anything ive said in this post? Any potential ideas for fanfics? Thanks for reading and MTFBWY!

My Problem with The Bad Batch (Spoilers for ep 4 and a little bit of ep 5)

Yes this is sort of spoilery but also not really. I really wanted to get this off my chest cause its rly starting to bug me. The problem I have this is show can be summed up in one question, "why are they not diving deeper into anything". They have lots of happy moments, and that is nice and all but without the substance, those happy moments dont hit. Like for example, when Omega is reunited with Hunter and Wrecker, its a great moment, it makes me happy but its not smth I will remember. Compare that reunion to when Ahsoka reunited with Anakin and Rex. Which hits harder? Which one do you care about more? Which one feels way more earned? Which feels authentic? If you chose Omega, idk what to say. But those happy moments aren't the only thing. Consider Tech's death. So far in this season, all theyve done is brushed it aside, so who even cares that Tech is dead.  So, with that in mind, I wanted to do a series comparison between Rebels and TBB, two series that were spawned from TCW and the comparison is between Tech and Kanan. Compare their deaths, but not only that, look at everything that surrounded it. Kanan is the father figure of main character Ezra just like how Tech is a father figure of main character Omega. Tech is the one who teaches Omega the most about everything just like how Kanan is the one who teaches Ezra everything. So narratively speaking, their roles are the same in relation to the main character. But why is it that Kanan's death hurts so much more than Tech. Because Kanan's death had an extensive amount of substance. Kanan and Ezra have such a close bond, they saved each other, they fought with each other, they fought each other (season 3), they were a dynamic duo type. They were connected in a way that is extraordinary imo. Omega and Tech have like two episodes together and I don't feel their connection. It just feels superficial like marey sue, finn and poe hugging in TROS. You know they spent a lot of time together and that they were close, but you dont see it on screen and so you dont feel it. That is the build up. Now lets look at the set up within the episodes itself. Kanan's death scene is essentially the whole episode. From looking out into the distance at Dume, to cutting his hair and then teaching Ezra one last lesson. Rewatch it and u feel that EVERYTHING pointed towards this moment. Tech's death was abrupt, not really set up. Now while this is normal for death scenes, in tech's case, it isn't helping. It doesn't make his death hit. Its a simple concept, if something is hinted at, you are waiting for it to happen and thus are more invested in it.  Now, for the meat for this post and the reason why I'm making it. Compare the consequences of Kanan's death vs Tech's death. Its 5 episodes into season 3 and the writing frames it in a way where tech's death has no significance. I'm not saying we need baby crying and screaming or hysterical sadness and depression, but what I am saying is acknowledge it and show us how it affects everyone. Show us why the death mattered. Look at the episode right after Kanan's death, everyone deals with grief in their own way. Hera is with Chopper and holding on to her artifact, completely lost and destroyed, alone and broken. Ezra turns back to who he was before he met Kanan, he went off to be alone. Sabine and Zeb being born warriors went to go fight. You see how his death affects everyone for one full episode that is the episode that really drives the feels deep (and thats a super brief overview of it). Its not some trivial shock value, its full on struggle to dealing with loss in more ways than one. Now look back Tech's death. Weirdly enough, I feel like Wrecker is the only one showing us how Tech's death affected him. He is suddenly a bit more mature, more willing to take action, he makes less immature jokes and he is talking some sense rather than nonsense. His comic relief behaviour is noticeably reduced. Hunter is still the same. Omega is still the same. If you didn't watch the last episode of season 2 and went straight to season 3, you won't feel like ur missing much. The writing for Crosshair is criminally bad. Why would they solve Crosshair finding out about how Tech died off screen. WHY? Its such a huge moment and they buried it in sand. And I don't like sand. Imagine if the end of episode 4 or start of episode 5 was "where is tech" or "where are the others" cause I dont think crosshair knows about rex and echo. Tech seems to be the only one Crosshair didn't hold a grudge against in season 1, remember when he was like "why are you defending me" and tech was like "I understand you, that doesn't mean I agree with you".  See what I mean? Trust me when I say this, stuff like this can be seen throughout the entirety of the series and its really annoying. They touch on something, but they never go deep. Instead, they choose to do huge action sequences with giant monsters, giant fish or giant plants. All this action takes time and budget away from what matters, the characters and their relationships. The writers for this show did their best, but clearly they lack the ability to create something iconic. Its been like 4 years since season 7 of TCW ended and yet I talk about it, think about it and even based entire animated fanfictions based off of it but I bet you years after TBB ends, I wont ever talk about it nor rewatch it unless its to study animation. The story is pretty forgettable and that really sucks because its THE project that succeeded TCW. I still like the series, but its no where near as good as it should have been. Anyways, thanks for reading, MTFBWY.

Continuation of my "What if Ahsoka was on Mustafar" post

"The battle of coruscant Now that Ahsoka is with Anakin, Admiral Yularen never calls back Kenobi and Anakin BUT that means Kenobi, Anakin and Ahsoka stay on the planet where Anakin fake surrenders against the droids to bait out the tactical droid as seen in the first episode of the siege of mandalore arc. So Anakin and Kenobi are still late to the battle of coruscant hence nothing changes. But now it gets interesting, does Ahsoka fight Dooku? for the sake of simplicity, lets say she doesnt, she stays on the venator cause she doesnt have the authentication to use a fighter since she is a citizen. The same events play out. Dooku dies, Grevious escapes. Everything is the same up to when when Anakin is denied the rank of master. Anakin ofc tells Ahsoka and Ahsoka yet against finds another thing to hate the jedi order for. Now that Anakin is stuck with spying on palps, what happens to Ahsoka when Yoda sends the jedi council to various planets for the final battles against the CIS (where order 66 happens). Ahsoka could be with Obi-Wan or with Plo Koon. In either case, Ahsoka lives but Plo dies and Kenobi llives. To get Ahsoka to Mustafar, if Ahsoka followed Plo, she lives, finds a ship and finds Kenobi or Bail who then meets up with Yoda. If Ahsoka followed Kenobi, they get to Yoda and Bail together. Same outcome other way. Same events happen. Yoda doesnt want Kenobi and Ahsoka to fight Palps cause he is too strong for them so they go fight Anakin together. Before we keep going, lets see whats going on with other players shall we?" Ahsoka and DookuOkay I was reading through my post because I got bored but I realised something, in the excerpt above, I wanted to discuss and possibly change two things, what if Ahsoka was with Obi-Wan and Anakin during their fight with Dooku and if Ahsoka didn't get deployed along side a Jedi Master before Order 66. This wouldn't be too far from The Clone War fashion, having this trio wreck havoc. So lets say Anakin snuck Ahsoka into a Jedi fighter which means Ahsoka was there when Kenobi and Anakin broke into Grevious's ship. From there what would Ahsoka do? She could follow them and fight Dooku or she would go her separate way and either defend Artoo or fight Grevious at the.........deck? The main control room where Grevious was first introduced. So while Anakin kills Dooku, Ahsoka is fighting Grevious and honestly, I think Ahsoka would win. She isnt the useless padawan we saw in the youngling arc. She has her Season 7 3d model which means she gets a fighting upgrade (yes thats how it works, 3d model determines how strong a character is 🤣🤣). Heres the interesting part, does Grevious get away or does he get arrested or killed here? With Ahsoka fighting Grevious, Obi-Wan and Anakin don't get trapped and so they come to help her. If Grevious gets away, then it follows my original post. If he dies, Obi-Wan has no reason to go utapau and so he would be sent elsewhere or sticks around Anakin. See the rabbithole we could go from here? IF YOU THINK THIS IS COMPLICATED, WAIT TILL I TALK HOW MAUL AND MANDALORE FITS IN THIS PICTURE. (I might do that in another post tho cause this...... is getting too much even for me to handle) We don't need to worry about if Ahsoka stayed with Artoo because she and Artoo help Obi-Wan and Anakin out once they get captured and Grevious escapes anyways. As for if Ahsoka fought Dooku with Anakin and Obi-Wan. I think Ahsoka would have gotten Palps out of that room while Obi-Wan and Anakin kept Dooku occupied. So with Palps out of the room, Anakin doesn't kill Dooku because he wouldn't have without Palp's "DEW IT". That means either Grevious escapes right after that, or they all get trapped and dooku lives but now he has two robotic hands. If Grevious escapes, that means Dooku gets delivered to Coruscant and is brought in front of the Jedi council. Obi-Wan still goes to Utapu so that doesn't change. HOWEVER, with Dooku here, what would Anakin do? Would he forcefully get Dooku to spill who Sidious is? I dont actually know. Palps probably just finds a smart way to secretly kill Dooku. Boring I know but...... Palps will fix every complication to match his vision. Okay next, Dooku lives and gets away. Here is where things get tricky, Obi-Wan gets sent to utapu, but what do they do about Dooku now? Yoda sends Anakin and Ahsoka to find Dooku which means Order 66 is delayed. If Order 66 is delayed, the war goes on. AND IF U THINK THIS IS GETTING COMPLICATED, WAIT TILL I INTRODUCE FINANCIALS OF SUSTAINING WARFARE. Okay thats enought of the first idea, I'll leave the rest for you guys to figure out. See where things could go. If Ahsoka stayed with Anakin instead of following Plo Koon or Kenobi So lets say all the Jedi masters get sent to their respective location and Anakin stays behind to spy on the chancellor. BUT THIS TIME, Ahsoka is there to keep Anakin company. What does Palp do? Does Anakin still get those visions? If he does, would he tell Ahsoka about it? I actually think he would because Ahsoka hinted to him that she knows of his relationship with Padme. So if Ahsoka knows, we go down a super dark place. Anakin meets with the palps, story of plageius blah blah blah and all that but heres the big change, Anakin tells Ahsoka about this story and Ahsoka, who isn't blinded by emotion here, finds it all very suspicious. I think Ahsoka would confront Palps about this alone and Ahsoka might put two and two together and figure out that Palps was Sidious. Then ofc they have a duel and Ahsoka gets bodied. She loses in a few seconds and dies here. But theres a problem with this route, how does Mortis arc play a part in this? We know that since Ahsoka represents whatever the daughter represented, Ahsoka can't die here as she has a role to play in building the rebellion and starting the fulcrum spy intelligence which leads to callus which leads to beating thrawn in rebels. So instead, what happens here. AHSOKA LOSES SOME HANDS I THINK AND MANAGES TO GET AWAY. Then Anakin walks in and the room is heavily damaged. The the scene plays out the same, Anakin tells Windu and the storyline stays the same. Ahsoka manages to get out of Coruscant just in time as Order 66 happens and she meets with Bail who brings her to Yoda and Obi-Wan. With Ahsoka being injured, she gets robotic hands and heads off to Mustafar with Obi-Wan to fight Anakin.  Yeah okay thats all I have for today. My brain is starting to get tired and I haven't even scratched the surface with how complicated this can get. Those sentences in bold are only a small fraction of what I thought of. Think about TBB, Maul, Mandalore, Martez sisters. All the parties involved and how they are affected by this change make this whole thing super complicated but thats the fun of it all I guess. Anyways, thanks for reading and MTFBWY.

Spoiler Free Bad Batch Season 3 Premiere Initial Thoughts

This will be a short post. I wanted to briefly talk about some stuff but not really anything too specific and plot related. I wanted to talk about the tone of this season and my predictions for how it will be. The first two episodes were solid. The first one especially was really tense and eerie. I really like that because it tells us this season is going to be serious, finally. The second is a different type of tense, its more...... urgency while the first was more melancholy and dull (in a good way). A large majority of the third episode for me felt like it was the unseriousness of Rebels. I wasn't too into it until the end which was a shame because......... well, lets just say that episode is the most plot significant episode in the entire series. As usual, music was pretty on point, a little weaker than in season 1 and 2 but still it was strong, got me in the mood for sw animation.  While I have rly high hopes that this season is going to be way more serious and dark, I think it will unfortunately fall into the same rabbitholes as season 1 and 2. It probably wont change much. There might be a little more substance here and there since its the final season but I doubt it will be anything like TCW or Rebels final arc/season which sucks because TBB easily has the best animation in sw, only rivalled by TOTJ. I hope I'm wrong about this final season but the signs are there. I'll talk a bit more once the episodes sink in. Thanks for reading and MTFBWY

Stills from my animated fanfiction

hello there, its been a while. University starts up again tomorrow which means I won't have much time to keep learning animation. But....... before tomorrow comes, I would like to share some stills because they actually look rly nice. The animation however, looks like shit so I don't want to post that. I hope u guys like it. The story So this 5 minute short story is meant to be what happens not too long after the events of "Resolve" in TOTJ aka purifying crystals. So Ahsoka knows that there are these inquisitors and learns about Vader. Her mission was to take them down solo so she is gather intel. The problem is, by doing this she isn't helping the rebellion and as she gets deeper and deeper, the kyber crystals she got from the inquisitor (im merging the Ahsoka novel and the TOTJ epiosde btw) starts to call to her by giving her visions of Vader and the pain experienced by the inquisitor. Since there are no jedi left, Ahsoka uses the force to find a jedi temple like the one on lothal. That is more or less the prelude to the story. The actual story starts off with Ahsoka dreaming a vision and suddenly wakes up when she reaches a planet with a jedi temple. All temples are unique, like Ilum and Lothal. They are both jedi temples but are both extremely different. I chose to use a tree of life sort of thing where the force user would sit infront of it, meditate and then they will be transported to a psychological plane. So yeah, Ahsoka does that and then she wakes up on a floating island in a black space. The force then summons an aberration in the form of Darth Bane to fight her and teach her that the way she is right now, she is not going to win. A new approach is needed. So by learning this, she is able to purify the crystals. And then thats the end. I guess you can say I didn't like the way Resolve ended and I think it was a missed opportunity to show us what purifying crystals looked like and the process. Anyways, here are the stills So there you have it. I hoped you guys liked it. Thanks for reading and MTFBWY!

My Vader and Ahsoka artwork remade with 3D models

YES, I FINALLY DID IT. I told Ewok that maybe I might go back and redo some old artworks that I posted here and guess what, I did. So here is Vader and Ahsoka, the original artwork. Looking back at it, not bad . Vader looks great, Ahsoka looks pretty good although the image quality was absolutely trash. But now, it has been UPGRADED. Here is the new and improved artwork. I did run into lots of issues such getting the perfect lighting which I gave up on cause it was taking too long. Tinkering with numbers for hours isn't gonna do much so I decided to just leave it as it is. Modelling Process This section is for anyone who cares about how the art was made. So ofc I used blender and this one was rendered with the Eevee engine as there is a reason for this. One is because it renders much faster, but also because eevee helps with over blowing lighting more efficiently using bloom. But then the the problem came up where the emissions wont affect other objects so I had to add a light probe to get that to work. That was the lighting stuff done. The soul merging looking thing at the background was the hardest bit because its something I've never done before. I drew a love heart on a plane, then made the background of it transparent so its just the heart, then I used the array modifier and made it fit into a curve where I then twist it and do some small geometric manipulation of it to get the result. Then play with the lighting for that. Lastly, smoke. This one was super easy cause theres an automatic function for creating smoke, that was done in like two seconds. But then came another issue, more lighting problems. I realised that by having smoke around Vader and Ahsoka's legs, Vader's legs are lighted up which isn't what I wanted. So I had to angle the light higher but then the light no longer hits the smoke. That is why u might have noticed that massive difference between the two artworks. The smoke is not really visible in the newer one. But anyways, yeah thats sorta the jist of it.  Anyways, thanks for reading as always and MTFBWY!
