Star Wars: Admiral (Chapter 1)

What's up, everyone! Hppe you all are doing well. I have both good and bad news. Bad news is that I've made no progress on my sequel rewrite because I can't come up with anything. Good news is I've decided to refocus the story to centering around myself as an Admiral in the Empire. I will also be making an ORIGINAL piece of music for every chapter at the bottom of the post. Hope you enjoy! Star Wars: Admiral   Chapter 1   Rakata Prime, 9 BBY             I stand on the bridge of the ISD Helios, staring out into the black void of space. It has been a short campaign exploring the world of Rakata Prime on the very edge of the Unknown Regions. According to Imperial records, the Rakata used to be a Force-sensitive race a few dozen millennia ago, but their connection to the Force was severed in an event which is still poorly understood. My right ear perks up, a muscle I know all too well pulling it backward, sensing an approaching officer. The hard click of boots on the polished metal floor signals the newcomer’s halt before a man’s grim voice comes from behind. “Admiral. You have an incoming transmission from Lord Vader.”   I immediately turn on my heel and stride from the bridge, heading for my personal meeting room. Upon arrival, I order the stormtroopers on guard to leave as the blast doors close behind me, locking me alone in the darkness. Suddenly, the holoprojector whirs to life, projecting a flickering blue image of the Dark Lord. Taking a moment to gather my thoughts, I make the first move. “Lord Vader. The campaign on Rakata Prime is proceeding ahead of schedule. We have successfully established a base of operations on the surface and are currently beginning to explore.”   I don’t fear Vader, unlike the majority of the Imperial navy. I was never bothered with accolades or promotions, instead focusing all of my energy into getting the job done. It was this work ethic and dedication to my duties that saw me rise to the rank of Admiral far faster than my peers, who were all captains at best. Vader speaks, causing the hairs on the back of my neck to instantly stand in nervous anticipation. In all my time in the Navy, I never got used to the aura of darkness and destruction that shrouded the Sith, even from the other side of the galaxy.               “Admiral Deare. Your success on Rakata Prime pleases me. However, I have new orders for you.” I wait with bated breath, keeping my head bowed low and my expression unreadable. “I am personally reassigning your fleet to the Death Star”, Vader continues. “You are to search the galaxy for Rebel cells, hidden Jedi, and other criminal elements. Grand Moff Tarkin will have more details. Do not fail me, Admiral.” The transmission ends abruptly, unlocking the doors and reactivating the lights. Squinting my eyes against the sudden light, I rise to my feet as the guards return to their posts.               “Understood, my lord”, I mutter to myself. I turn and return to the bridge, my black cloak swirling in my wake. “Helm”, I say as I enter. “We have new orders. Set a course for the Death Star.” The helmsman nods, his fingers dancing across controls as he plots the course. “Course is set, Admiral. Estimated travel time to the Death Star is 14 hours at maximum speed.”               I stride over to the viewport, gazing out at the vast expanse of space. Suddenly, the stars begin to lengthen, going from small white dots to long streaks, until the Helios enters the swirling blue vortex of hyperspace. “Very good”, I say, turning back to the helmsman. “As we approach, prepare the fleet for docking procedures. We will need to be ready to move out again quickly if required.” As the helmsman acknowledges my orders, I turn to the comms officer. “Open a secure channel to the Death Star. I wish to inform Granf Moff Tarkin of our arrival and confirm our mission parameters.” As the channel opens, I straighten out my uniform, ensuring everything is perfectly immaculate. This is the Empire, after all.               “This is Admiral Deare aboard the ISD Helios, sir. We have new orders from Lord Vader to move to your position and assist in the hunting of the Rebels. We are currently en-route to the Death Star. Estimated transit time is around 14 hours.”               “Admiral Deare”, Tarkin replies, his voice both respectful and professional. “I see Lord Vader has a fine taste when it comes to Admirals. Your victories against the Rebels as well as your recent exploits in the Unknown Regions have become the talk of the town amongst the political elite. You may dock at the Death Star and report directly to me upon arrival.”               Tarkin’s image flickers out, leaving only the noise of the Helios’ engines and the chatter of the bridge crew. “I am retiring to my private quarters. Inform me when we have reached our destination.”   I turn on my heel and stride out of the bridge, cloak flowing behind me.      Hours later, I receive a message from the bridge informing me that the Helios is about to exit hyperspace. I exit my quarters and begin to walk down the corridors of the star destroyer, marvelling at the polished black walls and floors that sparkle with the light of a thousand stars. Mouse droids scurry underfoot, leading different groups of officers and techs to their required positions. Troopers and low-level officers alike salute me as I make my way down the glistening halls to the thick blast doors of the bridge.   The automatic doors slide open with a hiss as I stride onto the bridge, uniform immaculate and chin held high. I turn to the helmsman, awaiting a report. “Death Star imminent, sir. Thirty seconds and counting.” I nod in acknowledgement before turning back to face the swirling vortex of hyperspace. In an instant the pulsing blue light lengthens into white streaks across the viewport before solidifying into the small dots of distant stars. Ahead, a massive sphere of grey metal and durasteel comes into view, complete with a deep trench and large circular superlaser on the northern hemisphere. “All hands, commence docking procedure”, I say, my voice carrying across the bridge. “I want this ship refuelled and restocked for departure at a moment’s notice.” The bridge erupts into a flurry of activity as the crew in the pits leap into action, contacting the Death Star’s boarding technicians to allocate a hangar and the appropriate supplies. Once the Helios has been successfully docked, I turn and stride out of the bridge toward the turbolift.   As I walk along the hallway to the Helios’ turbolift, I am joined by my second-in-command, Commander Reigns. A tall man with a muscular build, long hair and a pointed beard. Reigns had started his career in the Navy as a junior lieutenant fresh out of the Royal Imperial Academy aiming to live up to the legend of his father, who was a highly successful officer during the Clone Wars. He had risen through the ranks with surprising swiftness, outclassing and outperforming everyone in his class with a level of skill and dedication that I had never seen. He had been assigned to the Helios three years ago, and had been instrumental in the success and reputation that the ship had managed to gain. “Sir. The Helios has been docked and is being refuelled as we speak.” “Very good, Commander. I trust our previous assignments in the Unknown Regions have been properly distributed?” “They have, sir. We have multiple star destroyers en-route to Rakata as we speak.” He turns to look at me as we stop outside the turbolift, allowing a rare glimpse of curiosity to show on his usually serious façade. “I heard we have new orders, sir. Straight from Lord Vader himself. I was not aware that we were even on his list of candidates.” “That’s what happens when you succeed in the Empire, Commander. You get noticed. Even by beings as important as Vader.” The turbolift doors slide open, and we both step inside as they hiss closed behind us. A slight jolt underfoot signals that the life has begun its descent. “But we must not lose sight of our current objective, Commander. I must meet with Tarkin to discuss the finer points of our new orders. I expect you to take full command during my absence.” Reigns looks slightly surprised as he hears the order. Up until this point I would always retain control of the Helios, even if I was otherwise engaged. However, he had proven in recent missions that he was more than capable of commanding the ship. “Don’t look so surprised, my friend”, I say, slinging an arm across the shoulders of the younger officer. “You’ve grown immeasurably these past years. Gone are the days of the young lieutenant who was still wet behind the ears with dreams of living up to his father’s legacy. It’s time you were introduced to the big leagues. Consider this a qualifying round.” With a final pat on the back, I stride out of the turbolift doors as they slide open, leaving Reigns standing in the turbolift to collect his thoughts. The doors of the turbolift to Tarkin’s office on the Death Star slide open with a smooth hiss, revealing a spacious area of gleaming wooden walls and softly carpeted floors. Posters and banners depicting the Grand Moff in various poses line the walls, with the Imperial insignia carved onto the far wall above a circular conference table complete with a holoprojector. Striding into the room, I take a quick glance at the décor before moving into the centre and standing at attention. “Admiral Deare reporting, sir!” Tarkin rises from his position at the head of the conference table in a way that both demands and shows great respect and professionalism. “At ease, Admiral”, he says, moving to stand beside me. “As I said over holo, your recent accomplishments have been gaining a great deal of attention. I daresay you may rise to the position of Grand Admiral sooner than you think.” “Thank you, sir”, I say, keeping my voice professional and not allowing any trace of the butterflies in my stomach to creep into my tone. Praise from Tarkin was almost unheard of. I had never thought I’d ever hear it given to another, let alone be the recipient of it. “Just doing my duty to my Empire.” “And you are doing an excellent job of it”, he says, the fleeting ghost of a smile crossing his face. “But enough pleasantries. It is time to discuss the details of your new assignment.” With a click of his fingers, the lights in the room dim and the holoprojector in the centre of the conference table activates, displaying a map of the galaxy. “As I'm sure you are aware, these Rebels have been proving extremely challenging to control. They have been disrupting supply depots, intercepting cargo ships, and spreading distrust and dissent wherever they go.” He pauses for a moment before continuing. “We also have reason to believe that there are numerous Jedi assisting them. This cannot be allowed to continue for any longer than it has to. The Jedi present a critical threat to the Empire. Lord Vader and his Inquisitors are actively hunting them, but even they cannot be everywhere at once. “Therefor, your mission is twofold. Your primary objective will be to hunt down eliminate the Rebels wherever you find them. Your secondary objective will be to capture or eliminate any Jedi that you find along the way. Both Lord Vader and the Emperor himself wish for them to be captured and delivered in one piece, however if lethal force is necessary, you have full permission to use it.” He pulls a data chip out of his breast pocket and inserts it into the holoterminal. The map of the galaxy disappears, replaced by a slowly scrawling list of names. “These are the Jedi that are as of yet unaccounted for. I will provide you with a copy of the list for your own perusal.” I slowly scan the list, looking for any familiar names. Some jump out immediately, such as Kenobi and Yoda, whereas others are more obscure. I continue to read the list until… no. It couldn’t be. I watched him die. My mind is immediately thrust into the past, replaying events that I had thought I had locked away. Explosions, blaster fire, and a flash of green. I quickly snap myself out of my recollections as Tarkin finishes speaking. “The Empire is depending on you, Admiral. Do not let me down.” “I will not fail you, sir”, I say in reply. Without waiting for permission, I turn and stride out of the room, mind ablaze with confusion. Music:

Star Wars: Malak - Season 2 Episode 7

Hello everyone, Welcome back to another Malak episode. Sorry again about the inconsistent upload schedule but we have a lot of stuff going on at the moment. Enjoy!  3,946 BBY - Somewhere Malak opened his eyes slowly. The last thing he remembered was the pain of a rock colliding with his skull, and now his vision was cloudy. Where am I? Malak thought to himself. He looked around. His one remaining wrist and ankles were shackled to the wall, and nothing around him looked like Tython at all. Across one end of the room, he could see golden, stained glass tanks, as well as what looked like a wheel carrying multiple samples of blood. And that’s when he realized something… I am on the Star Forge ‘‘Rise and shine, my old Apprentice!’’ A voice called out. Malak turned, seeing Revan walking towards him, slowly. Malak tried to speak, but quickly remembered that Revan’s Apprentice had taken off his prosthetic jaw during their confrontation. Nonetheless, Revan answered Malak’s questions anyway, sensing what he was thinking. ‘‘If you think I brought you all the way from Tython to this place just to kill you…       You would be gravely mistaken, Malak. That would be a waste of both my time and my plans.’’ Revan then leaned close to Malak, placing one hand on his head, and then proceeding to shove something inside where Malak’s jaw had once been..    A vocabulator. The vocabulator instantly glued itself to Malak’s throat, accessing his vocal chords and allowing him to speak. ‘‘What do you want from me Revan? Why have you brought me to The Star Forge if you aren’t even going to exact your revenge and kill me!?’’ Malak asked, demanding to have answers. Revan scoffed, looking at the wheel full of the blood samples, then at the golden tanks, then back at Malak. ‘‘Oh, you’re REALLY not as smart as I thought you were. Think about it….     Why are there cloning tanks in these chambers? Why is there a wheel carrying samples of blood…?’’ Malak’s eyes widened at the realization of what Revan was saying. ‘‘You’re..   You’re replicating a high Midichlorian Count in the hopes nothing goes awry in the blood transfer…     And you have test subjects inside all these tanks..’’ Under the mask, Revan smiled. ‘‘Good…       You’re figuring it out now.’’ Revan reached for both sides of his head, removing his hood, then his mask. And the sight that lied before Malak’s eyes made him tremble. Scars were blistering all over Revan’s face, and a black shade surrounded his flaming orange eyes. And Malak instantly knew the truth. ‘‘You’re trying to save yourself from your own Dark Side corruption, aren’t you?’’ Revan frowned. ‘‘Not my OWN darkness…         His darkness, Malak..’’ Malak’s eyes only widened more. ‘‘You’ve been possessed by another spirit, despite already inhabiting a clone body?’’ Revan nodded. ‘‘I’ve been keeping the failures in my Sith Academy in those tanks as test subjects for the transferring of a high Midichlorian Count. So far, none of them have produced an M-Count suitable enough for my next body, but with you…     I am fully confident your blood will produce a substantial enough M-Count that my next body will last far longer than my current body.’’ Revan turned towards the door, and walked away from Malak, but before he left, Malak overheard him speaking to someone else. ‘‘Watch him.’’ Revan said, putting his mask back on before leaving the room. The door slammed shut, and Malak saw Atton Rand walking towards him, an injection needle in hand. Atton grabbed Malak by the head, jamming the needle into the side of his neck. Atton then removed the needle, which now carried a sample of Malak’s own blood. He turned to a table next to the wheel, picking up a glass vial and slowly injecting the blood into the vial. As he did this, Malak could sense something going through him. Hatred. Resentment. All signs of inner conflict between Atton and his own darkness. ‘‘How long have you been his Apprentice for, boy?’’ Atton turned to Malak, just as he placed the vial in an empty slot built into the wheel. ‘‘Why do you care? Why do you care about me especially of all things?’’ Atton fired back, placing the vial into the slot. Malak, however, only continued asking more questions. ‘‘How do you feel about being Revan’s student..?’’ Atton looked back at him, this time, with more annoyance in his eyes. ‘‘I don’t have time for this. My Master tasked me with watching you until he returns from Korriban. Now, stop asking me questions before I foil whatever plan he has in mind by executing you…’’ Malak was caught by surprise almost immediately. ‘‘You mean you don’t have any idea what your Master’s been doing this whole time?’’ Atton stopped, taking a deep breath. ‘‘He likes to hoard secrets from me.’’ He turned around slowly, fully locking eyes with Malak. ‘‘At first, I thought it was because he was unsure about having me as his Apprentice after you had killed his original body. After all, you are a poor excuse for a Lord of the Sith….’’ Atton trailed off for a moment, taking a moment to gain his composure. ‘‘But it’s worse. He keeps telling me I’m a promising student, and yet, I know what he really thinks of me…        He sees me as a means to an end. I am yet to figure out what that ‘end’ may be, though..’’ Hearing this made Malak’s heart drop. He had no idea that Revan had gone this far into the Dark Side. He was now putting his own mortality before anything, and it terrified Malak to his very core. ‘‘Where are you from?’’ Malak asked. Atton sighed, tears beginning to cloud his eyes. ‘‘Alderaan. I was from House Rand…        My entire family was slaughtered by the Empire. And I was stolen, and raised in the worst place possible.’’ If Malak still had an actual mouth, his expression would be that of sorrow. He had overseen the attack on Alderaan years ago against Republic forces, and now felt responsible for Atton’s suffering. ‘‘What if I told you everything you said about Revan and what he thinks of you is true?’’ Malak asked, making the tears in Atton’s eyes fall down his cheeks. ‘‘Don’t pretend to know what he and his followers have done to me, you false Sith!’’ Atton exclaimed, marching over towards Malak, who remained calm. ‘‘Revan only wants you as his Apprentice until his immortality is guaranteed. Once that happens, you will be no more…        Unless you help me escape.’’ Malak said, glancing at Atton’s Lightsaber hanging off his belt. Atton glared at Malak. ‘‘Really? And what is one good reason why I should help someone who is a disgrace to the Sith???’’ If Malak had an actual mouth, he would have been smiling. ‘‘I know the kind of pain you feel, Atton. I’ve lived it once before, back when the Republic was still here and the Mandalorians were invading much of this galaxy. You free me from my chains, and I will free you from yours….       Do you want to be at peace, or not?’’ Thanks for reading! As always, thanks to DF for everything that he has done with this fanfic over the past year. This project would not have been possible without him. Why Darth Vader DIDN'T Actually Bring Balance to the Force + Poll: Do you AGREE or DISAGREE?

Hello everyone, I haven't posted for a while as I have been very busy with my first year of college and am already loaded up to the brim with schoolwork. However, I have managed to shift things around enough for me to bring you this short but interesting post. Today's topic will be Darth Vader, but more specifically when he threw Palpatine down the reactor core of the Second Death Star in ROTJ. Now, most people believe that by doing this he brought balance to the Force, by defeating the dark side and making the light triumphant. But I have a different belief, which I shall share with you today. So without further ado, I will tell you why Darth Vader did not bring balance to the Force as most believe. In order to delve into how Darth Vader failed to bring balance to the Force, we need to look at the definition of balance itself. According to Dictionary.com, balance is defined as: a state of equilibrium or equipoise; equal distribution of weight, amount, etc. This means that in order for there to be balance, there has to be an equal amount of two or more things. If we apply this to the Star Wars universe, more specifically the Force, the Force was almost never in balance. In fact, the time when it would have been in balance the most was in the Old Republic where there were as many Sith running around as there were Jedi. When Darth Bane defeated his Sith brethren and made the Rule of Two, that put the Force even more out of balance than it already was, as there were possibly millions of Jedi and only two Sith. The next time that the Force would have been as close to balance as possible was when Anakin turned to the dark side and initiated Order 66. This ensured that thousands of Jedi died, leaving only approximately 100 or so survivors, with only around 4 Sith being alive at that time (Palpatine, Vader, Maul, and Ventress). This was the closest that the Force had been to balance for millennia, as the numbers of Jedi and Sith were far more similar. Then, as Vader recruited his Inquisitors during the age of the Galactic Empire, the Sith's numbers grew, while the Jedi's continued to shrink due to Vader wiping them out. The closest that the Force would have been to balance was in A New Hope, where the only Force users that we know of then were Yoda, Obi-Wan, Vader and Sidious. That was almost perfect balance, but there were undoubtedly more Jedi survivors roaming around. Now we've come to when Vader chucks Palpatine down the shaft on the Second Death Star. Most people, including Luke and Vader himself, believed that the Force was in balance at that point. It was not. There were practically no more Sith left, apart from Palpatine's clones, Baylen Scroll, and Shyn Hatti, but we won't count those two as they are more Force-wielding mercenaries than Sith. The main Jedi in this period were Luke and Ahsoka. This was not balance. This was the opposite of balance. There was only one side of the Force still being used - the Light side. The scales were fully tipped. With one side of the Force essentially wiped out, the Jedi were in full control. Again, not balance. After this point in time, there were always more Jedi than Sith. Never in the Star Wars universe has there ever been true balance, except for the long-forgotten time before the Force was even discovered. That was the only true time of balance, where there was no light and no dark. I hope that this post was informative and interesting. It was very fun for me to think if Vader actually did bring balance or not. In my opinion, he did not. No-one did. There were always more Jedi than Sith. Give this post a like if you enjoyed it, vote in the poll, and comment down below what your opinion is on this topic if you would like to have some further discussion. I hope to post a bit more when my schedule eases up a bit as the year goes on but that is looking pretty unlikely at the moment. Until then, remember, the Force has chosen you. Have a great day ✌️

Star Wars: Malak Season 2 Episode 6

WE ARE BACK! You heard that right. After around 7 months of having a break from the fanfic and an 8-month break from the site overall DF and I are back with the latest addition to the series. I honestly cannot remember where we left off last time since we wrote this episode ages ago, so I'll probably have to re-read the series. Speaking of the series, a couple of months ago on September 6th it celebrated its first birthday... I was planning to release this then but I completely forgot. Anyway, enough chatter. Enjoy! Bastila stood between Revan and the severely injured Malak, holding her Saberstaff with a firm grip. “Darth Revan, once a hero of The Jedi Order and Republic, now a bloodthirsty conqueror of the galaxy…         How incredibly tragic it was to lose you of all people to the darkness.” Bastila remarked, staring directly into the visor on Revan’s mask. Revan tightened the grip on his blades, pacing around the area back and forth to lead Bastila’s eyes astray. “I haven’t lost myself to the true side of the Force, Bastila. I have merely found my own destiny, a destiny free of the Jedi’s control…” Without saying another word, Revan chucked both Lightsabers towards Bastila, who sent both of them back towards him with her double-bladed Lightsaber. As soon as Revan caught his weapons, the Sith Troopers standing in front of the ship immediately opened fire on Bastila, trying to aim for any weak spots in her defences. Despite their best efforts, Bastila twirled her blade around in through her fingers and deflected the blaster bolts, watching some of them cut down Revan’s loyal soldiers. Seeing this, Atton charged towards Bastila before Revan could warn him not to engage, and immediately locked blades with Bastila with the hope he could kill her. Realizing that Atton could use Bastila’s skills against her, Revan lunged towards her in a stabbing motion, but Bastila saw it coming and ducked under his Lightsabers while continuing to press her attacks. Seeing that Bastila was beginning to get overrun by the two Sith, Malak stood up and reignited his Lightsaber in his left hand, ignoring his current injuries and slowly marching towards Revan, Atton, and Bastila with nothing but bound determination in his eyes. Finding more strength from within, Malak charged towards Revan and lunged towards him, preventing him from dealing a killing blow to Bastila and entering a blade-lock with his former friend. “Do you REALLY think you can make it out alive, Malak!?!?” Malak couldn’t say anything because his prosthetic jaw was missing from his face, but his facial expression was the only response Revan needed: he was determined to escape with Bastila no matter the cost. Revan broke the blade-lock with Malak and Force Pushed both him and Bastila across the grass with the Force, then let Atton jump towards them while they were on the ground. Bastila got back up just in time to block Atton’s attacks, with Malak rising to his feet soon afterwards. A few more Jedi, led by Marcus Halcyon, joined Bastila and Malak, while Revan readied himself for the oncoming barrage. “You’ll never win, Revan!!” Marcus exclaimed. Revan smiled under the mask at Marcus’s claim. “We meet again, Master Halcyon! Perhaps I should’ve taken you and Meetra with me and Malak to Dromund Kaas all those years ago…” Halcyon, Meetra Surik, and Atris all ran towards Revan and his Apprentice, with Bastila following suit. All of them got into a blade-lock at once, creating flashes that almost blinded Malak in the midst of the battle. However, Malak used Force Sight to see past the flashes, and joined the fight, thrusting his Lightsaber towards Atton. Atton easily blocked Malak’s attacks, and successfully disarmed him once more, just when Revan unleashed a Force Repulse on all of his opponents at once. Malak flew backwards, smashing his head on a rock hidden in the grass, and instantly passed out of consciousness. Revan turned to Atton and the Sith Troopers, his eyes darting towards Malak under the helmet. “Bring him onto the ship. I have plans for him…” As usual, all credit goes to DF for writing this episode, the majority of the series, and for keeping this series alive... he basically owns it by this point. I'm in the middle of exams at the moment but I'll try and get back onto my regular Friday release schedule (Thursday in the US), so look out for next week's episode. I released this one today cause this is the only free time I have this week. Leave your thoughts in the comments and have a great rest of your day.

What are your thoughts on the rumors about Disney selling Star Wars back to George Lucas?

Hello again my Star Wars-y friends! Today we are going to discuss the new rumours that the one and only Disney (long may they ruin)  is potentially selling the massive bombshell that is Star Wars back to George Lucas. This is both a very exciting and a very daunting possibility. As we all know, Disney bought the absolute landslide that was Star Wars (at the time)  back in December 2012 for about $4.05 billion. They started off alright, making the Clone Wars and Rebels shows, but then they started to fall down a little. They brought in the Sequels. Sure, they made an alright start... TFA made a bit at the box office and it started to make people think that maybe this wasn't such a bad decision... but then TLJ came along. What a disaster that turned out to be. The fans started to think that maybe Disney wasn't all that it was cracked up to be. Then, one year later, they released TRoS. We all know how that turned out. And then we get to the shows... oh the shows. I could go on for ages about how good the Clone Wars and Rebels were... I didn't watch Andor so I can't really talk about that too much. In my opinion, TBoBF wasn't too bad... it was a bit underrated for me but that's not my problem. My problem is with Kenobi. Kenobi was probably the most hyped-up TV show that Disney ever created for Star Wars. This was their one chance to right the undoable wrongs of the Sequel Trilogy, but what did they do? They made it so that Obi-Wan Kenobi, trainer of two of the most powerful Jedi that ever lived, couldn't rescue one little girl. True, this is a miniature Princess Leia we're talking about, but Kenobi has killed Grievous and chopped Maul in half... surely he could rescue one little girl who was only being chased by about 5 thugs and a pack of Inquisitors. He may have been in retirement but oh well. I honestly hope that the Lando show goes ahead and even if it turns out to be yet ANOTHER Disney failure, it would be better than Kenobi. Let's move back to the good stuff. Mando. Now I want to talk about Mando. The first season was probably the best thing that Disney had done since the Sequels. The second season? Even better. The third season? Didn't watch it. Not because of the ratings, but because my Disney+ subscription ran out in December. Apparently, it was a bit of a letdown. From what I've been told, they made it almost all about Bo Katan taking back Mandalore, rather than focusing on Din trying to train Grogu and making him a Mandalorian. TBoBF was alright for me... it was pretty cool watching Boba ride around on a Rancor and smash the town to pieces. Bad Batch Season 1 was amazing. haven't watched Season 2 yet but I will when I get my subscription back. Tales of the Jedi was pretty good too... wouldn't mind a Tales of the Sith or a Plagueis show in the future. Looking forward to Ahsoka and The Acolyte in the future as well. Anyway... that's it from me. I am hoping that Disney will sell Star Wars, but at the same time, I'm still waiting to see how good all the new shows will be. So I'm still on the fence at the moment. Let me know in the comments what your thoughts are on these recent rumours that have been circulating around. Theory talked about it in one of his latest videos, so that's where I got the news from. Please react to the poll at the top of the post and leave a like on the post so we can get our EM status back :)

Why Are People Not Contributing? How Can We Fix These Major Issues?

Alright… before we begin this potentially touchy subject, I just want to say that I’m not picking any sides here. I’m just telling you what I see from looking in from the outside. There is no bias. Now that we’ve got that out of the way, let’s begin this post. So as you know, engagement and activity levels on this site have dropped immensely. If you have been paying any attention to the live chat over the past couple of days, you will see that Poops, Solo and the other mods have been telling us that the site has dropped from its usual high place on the site ladder to 16th. That is not good. We can do better than this. I am going to provide some reasons that I have seen as to why there has been this major drop in engagement, and then I am going to provide you with some potential fixes to these problems. Speaking of engagement, with this post, I would like you to fill out the poll, react to it in some way or another, and leave a comment. Any comment is a good comment. Just engage. Here is a list of possible reasons as to why there has been a drop in engagement for the site: 1. Lack of motivation This is something that has been overlooked a little bit. We’ve all spoken about producing good quality posts that people can enjoy, react to, and even relate to. But what we haven’t spoken about is that motivational factor. When people post good quality content, it motivates other users to make the same quality content. In some occasions, it can even encourage them to one-up the post that inspired them. We need motivation of this site is going to survive. 2. Lack of content Most people on here come to engage in the posts… but they can’t do so if there are no posts to engage with. Sure, there are maybe two or three posts per day, but they are all from three or maybe four users. I can’t really tell you all to post more because I haven’t posted in two or three months, but I have tests and exams and the all-around horrors of Grade 10 to deal with. But what I can say is that looking around the site these past few weeks, it’s been very empty. More people are engaging in the live chat than with the posts… and even that dries up for days at a time. So for both new and veteran users… just post more. 3. Lack of users I remember this time last year, this site had about 3 times the amount of regularly active users roaming its digital surface. That number has dropped exponentially, with more users leaving and not coming back than there are new users. We really need to get new users on here to bump up this site’s ratings. That’s really all I have to say on this matter. SOLUTIONS The solutions for these problems are pretty simple. Make more higher quality posts so that they motivate others to make the same quality posts. Just make more posts… chuck a couple of polls in there to bump up the engagement levels. Get your friends, family… even make an account for your dog or something so that we can get more users. Whenever you’re at a gathering, tell people about our site. Get new users on here anyway you can. And for all the old veterans that have left us… come back to us. We need you more than ever now. Come back. Alright. I hope you’ve taken something out of this little pep talk of ours. Make sure you react to this post, leave a comment, and react to this poll. Let’s aim to get back into the top 10 by August. We should be able to do it if we all pitch in and do our part. Anyway, enough from me. Go out and do your thing ✌️

Star Wars: Malak (Episode 5)

Hello everyone! We are back after a long wait with the newest Malak episode. Thanks so much to DF for helping me… I have no time to do anything these days so having a co-writer is so helpful. Let’s jump into it! Malak immediately reignited his Lightsaber at the sight of Revan, holding his Lightsaber shakily. “Revan? How did you find me? HOW did you know I was here!?” Revan smirked under the mask, reaching for one of his Lightsabers. “Why do you think, old friend? We formed a Force Bond during our time in The Mandalorian Wars. I was able to sense where you were through that bond…” For a second, Malak could see through the visor in Revan’s mask, catching a glimpse of a pair of eyes that glowed the color of a deadly flame. Tightening the grip on his Lightsaber, Malak began preparing himself for the inevitable duel that was to come. “Once, I believed we were helping the galaxy by shaping it into our own image. But now, I see how far we both went. I have changed, and so can you, Revan…” Underneath the mask, Revan’s smirk faded. “You don’t understand, Malak. I have destroyed Vitiate and helped you lay The Jedi Order to rest without you even knowing for ten years. I am THE most powerful Sith Lord in galactic history!! I have brought PEACE, FREEDOM, JUSTICE, and SECURITY to my new Empire!!!” Malak cocked one eyebrow at Revan. “YOUR new Empire?” Malak asked. “Don’t make me KILL YOU, Malak…” Revan replied, right when Malak sensed a dark aura unlike any other trying to control the Dark Lord’s mind, and knew that his goal was to free Revan from that kind of aura. “I cannot let you control this galaxy anymore, Revan..” Revan just stood there, knowing full well that Malak would surely rush him at any moment. “Don’t try it.” Rushing towards Revan, Malak yelled loudly and lunged towards his old friend, but Revan quickly blasted Force Lightning towards Malak, sending him hurling backwards towards the entrance of the Ossus Jedi Enclave. Tumbling across the ground, Malak managed to regain his footing and used the Force to pull his Lightsaber back to his dominant hand and threw the weapon towards Revan, who ignited his own amethyst blade and blocked the Lightsaber from being plunged into his chest. “You still have much to learn, old friend.” Revan remarked, locking blades with Malak, who was able to block the attacks. Having learned his lesson from the last time he fought Revan years earlier, Malak pushed Revan backwards with the intent of knocking him into his nearby shuttle. But this was not to be. Igniting a second Lightsaber from behind, Revan attempted to slit Malak’s throat with the tip of the blade, but Malak just barely dodged the attack before getting into a blade-lock with Revan. “The Dark Side is NOT the way, Revan!!! Join me, and together, we can bring TRUE peace to the galaxy!” Revan broke the blade-lock with Malak and continued to swing at his former Apprentice’s head. “The Dark Side is the ONLY way the galaxy will be FREE of bloodshed, Malak!! You must either join me, or DIE!!!!” Revan yelled, slicing Malak across the shoulder.  Malak winced in pain for a brief moment, and then swung at Revan’s neck, but Revan knew this was coming ahead of time and raised both Lightsabers next to his head, entering another blade-lock with Malak. “It’s a shame that I never introduced you to my new Apprentice…” Suddenly, a legion of Sith Troopers led by Atton Rand opened fire on Malak to save their Emperor. “I’m here, Master! We’ll take him together!” Atton exclaimed. Blaster bolts zoomed towards Malak at rapid speeds, putting him on edge against not just Revan, but his reinforcements too. Atton then charged towards Malak, thrusting his Lightsaber towards Malak’s chest in a stabbing motion, but Malak was able to parry Rand’s strikes despite his struggles. While Malak was distracted, Revan thrusted his free hand into the ground beneath his feet and knocked Malak off-balance with a Force Shockwave. When Malak rose to his feet again, his eyes darted between Revan, Atton, and the Sith Troopers, unsure as to who he should attack first. “You have trained your Apprentice well, Revan. But I sense that he clearly takes his need for absolute victory from you, does he not?” Revan cackled. “Need for victory? No. He’s just thirsty for blood.” With the flick of the wrist, Revan threw his red-bladed Lightsaber towards Malak, who successfully avoided being decapitated, only for Atton Rand to jam his left knee into the side of Malak’s head. Malak staggered back, caught off-guard, but nonetheless, he swung for Atton’s shoulder. Atton quickly blocked the strike and grabbed Malak by the wrist, shearing through his cybernetic arm and jaw, right when the Sith soldiers shot him in multiple exposed areas at once. Catching his Lightsaber one hand, Malak attempted to cut Atton in half, before Atton kicked him in the face and knocked him over onto his back. Malak collapsed at Atton’s feet, clutching his missing jaw and letting out a muffled cry of pain, until he saw Revan walking up towards him. “You served your purpose as my Apprentice well, Malak. Even when you betrayed me, I served you as your own ‘student’, and revealed myself to you when the time was right. However, all things must come to an end, sadly…” Holding both Lightsabers above his head, Revan prepared to deal the killing blow on Malak, but right as he was about to end Malak’s life, Revan suddenly heard something buzzing, then heard his Sith Troopers screaming while they were cut down from behind. Snapping his head in one direction, Revan saw his own soldiers collapse with Lightsaber slashes being visible on their corpses.  Turning his attention back to Malak, Revan was then forced to defend himself against a woman wielding a double-bladed Lightsaber, entering a blade-lock with the figure, who he immediately recognized as a Jedi. Breaking the blade-lock, Revan Force Pushed the Jedi backwards a few feet away from him and Malak. “Bastila Shan…    we meet at last.” That’s it! Hoped you enjoyed. The upload schedule going forward will probably be a bit slower than usual… I have work experience for the next two weeks so I’ll try to upload these whenever I can. Hope you enjoyed the latest ep and I’ll hopefully see you next week.

How Mace Windu Created His Own Lightsaber Style + Poll: What's Your Favourite Lightsaber Form?

Mace Windu is known as one of the most skilled lightsaber combatants in the Star Wars universe. We all know that he mastered most of the common lightsaber forms, and he even created his own form, known as Vapaad. Today we will cover how he created Vapaad. Also, make sure to answer the poll if you are interested. To know how Windu created his lightsaber form, we first need to delve into the history of the Jedi and Sith orders. They were two very different religions, but the Sith were once Jedi, so they both have some similar practices. One of these practices is the use of the 7 lightsaber forms. Form VII, known as Juyo, was frowned upon by the Jedi Order as it was too aggressive and offensive, making the user vulnerable to the dark side. This made it the favored style of many Sith Lords, like Darth Sidious and Maul. In order to combat this complication, Windu created Vapaad as a variation of Juyo that channels the dark side tendencies of the form instead of allowing the user to get swallowed up by them. To discover how Windu created Vapaad, we need to delve into some Clone Wars-era Legends material. In the Star Wars: Republic comic series, Windu was on a mission with Jedi Master Sora Bulq when Bulq failed to control his emotions when using Juyo, and ended up falling to the dark side and becoming an acolyte of Dooku. This also happened to Quinlin Vos later down the track. Windu created Vapaad so that something like that would never happen again. Maybe if he had taught this skill to Anakin, then Order 66 and the Originals wouldn't have happened or been the way they were... anyway, that's another thought for another day. Windu demonstrated his mastery of Vapaad during the Battle of Geonosis, throughout the Clone Wars, and in his final battle with Darth Sidious.  The fact that Windu made a lightsaber form that allows you to channel the powers of the dark side without succumbing to them shows how powerful a Jedi he was. Even though he was a strict follower of the old Jedi guidelines, he was able to channel the dark side in ways that no Jedi ever has before. This would have made him an ideal master in the Legends-era New Jedi Order, which sought to control their emotions, unlike the Sith who were controlled by them, and the Old Jedi Order, who suppressed them. Kinda like getting the best of both worlds. That's it! Hoped you enjoyed learning about how Mace Windu created the form of Vapaad and how it was able to make him into one of the most powerful and respected members of the Jedi Order. Make sure to like if you enjoyed, vote on the poll and tell me any info that I have missed in the comments. MTFBWT.

Star Wars: Malak Season 2 Ep 4

Hi everyone! We’re back for another instalment of Malak. This episode is gonna be really good. We think you’ll enjoy it.3,946 BBY - Ossus, abandoned Jedi Enclave Malak slowly walked around the statues in the Ossus Jedi Enclave, sensing that this place had a strong connection to the Force. He had recently come to the conclusion that the only way he could truly defeat Revan was to reinvent himself as a Jedi, and so, the Council sent him to their long-abandoned Jedi Enclave on Ossus for him to face The Jedi Trials once more. Malak remembered when he staged a full-scale invasion of Ossus at the end of The Jedi Civil War and also heard the cries of death coming from all the Jedi he and Darth Bandon struck down on that day with each step he took.  But then, Malak suddenly felt a cold wisp of air breathe down his back just when he entered the room where Jedi Padawans normally took The Jedi Trials. All Malak could see was darkness. “What the…” Before Malak could finish, the ground beneath him suddenly collapsed, as he fell into a dark abyss below. However, Malak then saw what appeared to be a long vine hanging from a hole in the roof of the Enclave, and reached out with the Force, pulling the vine towards him and grabbing onto it with his cybernetic hand, as he swung towards a nearby platform and landed softly on it once he let go of the vine. Malak looked around, sensing that someone, or something, else was here too. He had a very vague memory of The Jedi Trials and what they were like. After all, it had been many years since the man once known as Alek took such trials and became a Jedi Knight.  That same cold wind then breathed down Malak’s back once more, catching him by surprise and causing him to ignite his Lightsaber in the darkness, illuminating the room the color of fire. Malak hastily paced around the room, checking his surroundings for anything that was lurking in the shadows, until he heard a voice that made even him shake with terror. “Welcome, Darth Malak. I have been expecting you for quite sometime now…” Malak turned to where he heard that voice and couldn’t see anything in the darkness, but sensed that someone was here. “Show yourself at once.” What followed Malak’s words would be the ignition of a blue Saberstaff that revealed a man with long hair and eyes as orange as a dying star. Malak recognized this man as the ancient Sith Lord, Exar Kun, a Jedi Knight that fell to the Dark Side and created his own Sith Rebellion with Ulic Qel-Droma and waged war on the Jedi in The Great Sith War. Malak tightened the grip on his own blade, as he stared at Kun in the darkness. “Exar Kun…     how can this be? You died several years ago at Yavin IV…” Kun chuckled, but didn’t say anything back to Malak, as he marched towards Malak with his double-bladed Lightsaber in his dominant hand, until he used Force Speed to dash towards Malak and began to duel him. Malak couldn’t help but admit Kun was much faster than he anticipated as they fought in the darkness, with Malak only seeing flashes of red and blue, until he managed to Force Push Exar across the platform they were standing on.   However, Kun only softly skidded across the ground and smirked. “THINK, Malak; I have survived many battles where a normal soldier would easily be killed. Do you really believe you can strike me down???” Malak charged towards Kun once more and locked blades with him once again, but this time, Malak kicked Kun in the face and sliced him across the back with his Lightsaber. But to Malak’s utter shock, Exar Kun didn’t seem at least a little bit phased by that surprise attack from Malak. In fact, it appeared as if Exar actually embraced the pain as some sort of soothing manner rather than feeling scarred by it, let alone, injured at all. “HOW is this even possible!?!? How were you not able to even feel that attack???” Kun laughed loudly, as he looked back at Malak. “I thought you learned that the Dark Side has many abilities in store for an individual after your old Master was raised from the dead. Many of those abilities can serve someone well in a comforting way, but many of those abilities can also lead to rather unnatural consequences..” Before Malak even saw it coming, Kun crushed the ground beneath his opponent with the Force and caused Malak to lose his footing and fall once again. As he was falling into the abyss, Malak saw the broken pieces of half of the platform falling with him, and grabbed onto one piece with his prosthetic arm, hauling himself onto the massive chunk of rock. Upon seeing this, Exar Kun’s face went from delight to complete and utter shock, as he threw his Lightsaber towards Malak’s head with the intention of decapitating him, but Malak dodged Exar’s Saberstaff and used the Force to jump all the way up to where Kun himself was located, kicking him in the face and stabbing him through the back with his Lightsaber. Kun howled in pain, before Malak kicked him over the edge of the platform into the abyss below, watching Exar explode in a burst of Dark Side Force energy when he hit the ground, until Malak’s surroundings suddenly changed and he found himself back at the entrance to the Enclave itself. Malak heard his comlink beeping on his belt and took it off, hearing the voice of Marcus Halcyon through the miniature loudspeaker on the device. “Did you find what you were looking for in the Enclave, Malak?” Malak looked back at the Enclave for a moment, before speaking into the comlink. “Whatever was here before is gone now, Halcyon. But yes, I completed The Jedi…” Before Malak could finish, the comlink in his hand suddenly flew from his fingers and was crushed by another man standing there. Emperor Revan himself had arrived. “Hello, Malak. It’s good to see you again..” That’s it! Hope you’ve enjoyed the series so far and found it a bit less confusing than the first one. As always, drop a line if you enjoyed, comment your favourite bit, and we’ll see you next week!

Star Wars Malak: Season 2 Episode 3

Hi everyone! Here is Episode 3. 3,946 BBY - Taris, abandoned city ruins For the past few days now, Malak has been wandering around the dead city of Taris, trying to find survivors of when he burned the city to glass years earlier to get information on the whereabouts of Meetra Surik, knowing she’d be a part of the Criminal Underworld after being exiled by The Jedi Order. However, Malak has found nothing on her. Malak sat under one of the trees next to the nearly demolished cantina and sighed heavily, opening his comlink to contact the last of The Jedi Council. “I was unable to find anything on Taris, Masters. I’m sorry…” Just as Malak turned off the comlink, however, he saw Marcus Halcyon rushing out of the cantina towards him. “Uh, Malak..   I think I’ve found someone….” Standing up, Malak followed Halcyon back into the cantina and saw a few mercenaries breaking out into a bar fight, but what caught Malak’s immediate attention in particular was a woman sleeping on a table, clearly being drunk at the moment. Malak walked towards the sleeping woman and gently nudged her on the shoulder. “Meetra Surik?” Malak gently nudged the woman again, and this time, she awoke in a drunk haze. “I paid for this table, so whoever you are…   GET LOST!!” Malak cocked an eyebrow at Meetra, who looked like she hadn’t slept in several days and clearly didn’t recognize him. “Meetra, Master Halcyon and I tracked you across the galaxy! Don’t you remember me?” Meetra blinked a couple of times, before she saw who was staring at her and couldn’t believe it. “Alek? The last time I heard about you was when you mysteriously disappeared and abandoned your Sith Empire…   where the Kriff were you?” Malak turned his head for a second and saw Marcus trying to break up the bar fight, before looking back at Meetra. “Alek is gone, Meetra. It’s just Malak now. Revan returned from the dead and usurped my mantle of Emperor away from me. Now, I have to temporarily join forces with the Jedi in order to face Revan once more. Would you be willing to help me do so?” Meetra sighed heavily and stared at the wine bottle lying on the table for a brief moment, then looked back at Malak. “I haven’t used the Force in so long because of what happened at Malachor…    it may take some time for me to regain my connection to the Force, but I can help you with trying to defeat Revan..” Malak helped Meetra stand back up, before he saw that Marcus finally broke up the bar fight between the drunk mercenaries and was now walking towards him and Meetra, whom he hadn’t seen since she was expelled from The Jedi Order all those years ago after that dark day at Malachor V. “Hello, Meetra. It’s good to see you again…” Meetra smiled and nodded, remembering the battles she and Halcyon participated in during The Mandalorian Wars. “It’s good to see you too, Marcus.” After this brief reunion, the three of them left the cantina, heading back to Marcus’s ship not too far from the ruins of the main city. Malak couldn’t help but feel it was good to see Meetra again for the first time in many years. Now, he was beginning to question if building the Empire Revan now ruled was really the right choice… Upon their arrival back to Tython, Malak and Halcyon went inside the Jedi hideout with Meetra, but before they entered The Jedi Council Chambers, Malak turned to Meetra, knowing that she would feel a little uncomfortable standing before a group of Jedi Masters once again. “You ready?” Malak asked Meetra, who quickly responded to her old friend. “I’m ready.” Halcyon then opened the door and Meetra stepped into the room, seeing Masters Atris, Vandar Tokare, Bastila Shan, and many others sitting in their seats and felt extremely nervous, remembering the day she was expelled from The Jedi Order many years earlier in a very similar room.  For a long moment, there was silence between Meetra and the other Masters, before Master Vandar Tokare broke the silence at last. “Hello, Meetra Surik. It is good to see you again…” Vandar knew Meetra would never forgive the Council from expelling her from the Order years earlier, so he allowed Master Vrook Lamar to speak to Meetra himself. “We were wrong to expel you from the very commitment that was your life, Meetra. Now, all we ask of you is to help us fight the battle against Revan, with Malak as a temporary ally..” Meetra looked down at the ground, then back at everyone in the room. “I’m sorry, but as much as I would like to help you, my connection to the Force was greatly diminished after what happened at Malachor and may take a long time to regain…” Master Tokare and the others nodded, before Master Shan spoke to Meetra. “We understand where you are coming from, Meetra. We’ll give you time to regain your connection to the Force and when you’re ready, we’ll contact you..” 3,946 BBY - Korriban, Valley of The Dark Lords Back on Korriban, Emperor Revan would be walking towards one of many tombs of ancient Sith Lords long dead in The Valley of The Dark Lords, hoping to learn more about the Sith to find a way to overcome the mysterious aura trying to take over his mind. Revan could feel the Dark Side emanating from this valley and then turned his head, entering one of the tombs. As he walked inside the tomb in the darkness, Revan could see spiders and other creatures crawling along the walls of the structure, until he heard faint echoes from multiple directions and then, a deep voice that sent chills down the spine of even Darth Revan himself. “Who dares trespass on my burial grounds???” Turning around, Revan saw what appeared to be an ancient Pureblood Sith King standing next to a casket, with a blue hue around the figure himself. Thanks to some studies he did over the years, Revan knew who this was: Marka Ragnos. A pureblood Sith king that died roughly a thousand years ago, just a few weeks before The Great Hyperspace War. “Marka Ragnos…     I come to you for guidance. A mysterious aura has been trying to take control of my body, and I have been fighting back against it for months, but it always keeps coming back. Will you help me overcome it permanently, Lord Ragnos?”  Marka Ragnos just stared at Revan, perplexed as to what he meant. “What could this aura be..??” “I’m not entirely sure what it could be, actually. I have heard of the Force ability known as Essence Transfer, and have used it before, so this aura could be either an ancient Sith spirit or it could be something else entirely…” Ragnos could sense something familiar about this aura Revan was talking about, as he could sense it lurking within Revan’s mind right now. “Hmmm…    something about this aura feels oddly familiar. Centuries ago, I remember meeting a young boy who had already killed his parents at the age of six during my reign over the Sith Purebloods and Halfbloods. The presence of this aura is very distinctly similar to the presence that boy gave off…      only time will tell if that aura really is what I’m suspecting it to be, but I would advise being cautious in trying to fight the aura off…” That's it! Hoped you enjoyed it. Sorry if the intro/outro is a bit rushed... I'm just trying to sort some stuff out on ANVODE. Anyway, leave a like, comment your favorite moment of the series so far, and see you next week.

Star Wars: Malak Ep 2

Hi everyone! Thanks so much for the support on the last ep... it's our most successful to date and really shows that you're enjoying the new season. Without further ado, here is the next instalment in the Malak series. Marcus Halcyon just stared at the Sith Gunship for a moment, trying to see if there was a way for him and Malak to attack without being immediately shot down on sight, before he finally turned to Malak. “Now.” Malak nodded, before he thrusted one hand forward and fired several torrents of Force Lightning towards the Gunship. The Sith forces were completely caught off-guard by this surprise attack from Malak, as the Force Lightning managed to destroy the Gunship’s engines, but the purple-skinned Twi’lek jumped out of the craft with a few Sith Troopers and immediately began attacking Malak, who got into a blade-lock with the Sith Assassin. “Ah, yes. Yuthura Ban. I remember seeing you at the Korriban Academy when I chose Lord Bandon as my Apprentice….” Yuthura snarled, as she kicked Malak in the face and blasted him into the wall with the Force. “You BETRAYED Emperor Revan onboard his flagship and then usurped the mantle of Dark Lord from him! Now, you are a disgrace to the true Sith Order and shall be punished!!!” Suddenly, Malak heard a blaster shot and then saw Yuthura scream in pain, before he noticed Marcus holding a Sith Trooper blaster in his free hand. “So uncivilized…” Marcus said, as he shot down another Sith Trooper, before he charged towards Yuthura and clashed with her in flashes of red and blue. However, whilst Halcyon was attacking Yuthura, the Sith Troopers opened fire on Malak, who deflected their blaster bolts with relative and then used the Force to pull the crippled Sith Gunship towards the Sith Troopers and watched it explode, sending them all flying out the window like a bunch of ragdolls. Malak turned his attention back to Halcyon and Yuthura and charged towards Yuthura, throwing his Lightsaber towards her and watching the crimson blade slice open her thigh, as Marcus now had an advantage over her thanks to Malak. “Tell Emperor Revan that it’ll take more than just a squad to take us down.” Halcyon nodded, before Malak walked towards Yuthura and gripped her with the Force, gently aiming her towards one of the shattered windows, and then blasted her out the window, hearing her scream on the way down to her death. “Weren’t prepared for that, were you, Yuthura?” Malak deactivated his Lightsaber, as did Halcyon once they were sure Yuthura was dead. “What shall we do now, Halcyon? I’ve got Revan’s entire Sith Empire breathing down my neck, so I’ll need help in defeating my former friend.” Marcus looked at Malak and smiled. “I know the Council may not trust you because of the things you have done during The Jedi Civil War, but if Revan can be stopped, we could have a huge advantage with you on our side, Malak.” 3,946 BBY - Tython, Jedi hideout Inside the hideout made specifically for Jedi survivors of The Jedi Civil War, Bastila Shan looked off into the distance, as she saw a Jedi Shuttle touch down softly on Tython’s surface, before she turned around and walked towards the door that led to The Jedi Council Chambers inside the hideout. Entering the room, Shan saw Jedi Grand Master Vandar Tokare talking with a few other survivors of the war about when they should reveal themselves to the Sith, when she suddenly sat down in her Council seat. “Master Halcyon’s back…         with a visitor.” Master Tokare’s ears perked up at the mention of a visitor, wondering who it could be. “Thank you for informing the other members of the Council, Master Shan. Master Atris shall be sent to greet Halcyon and see if he found anything or anyone…” Another one of the Council members, Master Atris, rose from her seat and exited the room, walking outside to see who or what Master Halcyon had found, if he even did find something. Upon reaching the Jedi Shuttle Halcyon had used to fly to Coruscant, Atris saw him walking towards her, with another figure with pale skin and battle-damaged red and black armor walking next to him. Grabbing a pair of Macrobinoculars, Atris saw the former Sith Emperor, Darth Malak, walking next to Marcus Halcyon. Igniting her Lightsaber, Atris rushed towards Malak and Halcyon, thinking that Malak had turned Halcyon to the Dark Side, but when she reached them, Marcus suddenly ignited his own Lightsaber to defend himself against Atris, entering a blade-lock with her in front of Malak. “Woah, woah, WOAH!! Everything’s okay, Master Atris!!” Atris looked at Halcyon, with a look in her eyes that was both confused and angry. “Okay? The Sith Emperor himself is standing next to you, Master Halcyon!!!” Malak just stared at Atris and Marcus, as he began to reach for his own Lightsaber, when Marcus spoke again. “I know it doesn’t seem like this, but Malak is in need of allies. I’ll explain everything once we get inside.” At that moment, Atris broke the blade-lock and deactivated her Lightsaber alongside Halcyon, before they walked back towards the Jedi hideout with Malak. When the three of them entered The Jedi Council Chambers, Malak could see the looks of shock on the faces of all the Jedi Council members, especially Bastila Shan, who Malak had previously left for dead on Katarr ten years earlier. “Master Halcyon, why is Emperor Malak here?” Master Tokare asked, before Malak stepped into the center of the room. “I am no longer Emperor of my Sith Empire. Through the betrayal of my Apprentice, Darth Bandon, I learned that Revan survived my betrayal onboard his flagship and from there, he’s been ruling the galaxy with a new Apprentice named Atton Rand, while I’ve been declared a Sith Exile….” There would be murmurs among the Council for a moment, before Master Shan asked Malak a question. “So, why have you come to us now, Malak?” Malak looked at Halcyon for a moment, then back at Shan. “I have come to the last of the Jedi because I am in search of allies to dethrone Revan, knowing full well that I am not strong enough to combat him on my own.” Master Tokare looked at the other Jedi Council members, who all nodded, even Master Shan, before they all looked back at Malak. “Though we’ve all had our differences since you, Revan, Master Halcyon, and a few others charged head-first into The Mandalorian Wars, I think it’s time to all put those disagreements aside. Now, do you all have any ideas on who else should join our fight against Revan?” Master Atris asked. Once more, there were murmurs among the Council, before Halcyon spoke up. “Kreia could’ve been a plausible choice, but she went missing years ago and never returned. Meetra Surik is another choice and despite her losing her connection to the Force, I can still sense her presence from across the galaxy, due to her being ‘a wound in the Force.’ Maybe if we regain her trust, she can help us…” 3,946 BBY - Korriban, Sith Fortress Inside the Sith Fortress on Korriban, Emperor Revan would be staring out the window, having received word that Yuthura Ban and the Sith strike team he sent to kill his former Apprentice, Malak, had been killed on Coruscant. The Sith Emperor would be staring at the fleet looming in the sky, when he suddenly heard an old woman’s voice echo in his head. “Hello, Revan….” Standing up and turning around, Revan saw his old Jedi mentor, Kreia, sitting down on another chair, wearing brown robes and having a blue hue around her. “Master Kreia…     why have you come here now?” Kreia stood up and walked towards Revan, feeling another dark presence trying to take control of him. “I sense the battle you are having with what you call a mysterious entity, my old Padawan. You cannot fight against the spirit of…   the true Sith, forever.” Under his mask, Revan glared at Kreia, as he felt that mysterious darkness surging through his mind, still trying to mysteriously possess him for whatever reason. “I eliminated those pretenders on Dromund Kaas. Now, I rule the galaxy unchallenged!” Kreia hung her head low, as she continued to feel that darkness through the Force, knowing what it was, but refusing to speak of it. “Malak said it himself when you and him first found that Starmap on Rakata Prime. If you and your best friend passed beyond that door, you could never go back and oh, how correct he was..” Revan clenched his fists tightly, remembering how he abandoned using The Star Forge once he moved the capitol of his Sith Empire to Korriban. “Malak is of no further use to me. He killed my original body and served the punishment he needed. Now, he shall be crushed once my Empire finds him!!” Kreia sighed heavily, remembering how Revan and several other Jedi charged into The Mandalorian Wars and fought some of the bloodiest battles the galaxy had ever seen until Malachor V. “Then my Apprentice is truly dead. Goodbye, your highness…” That's it! Hoped you enjoyed. As always, drop a like, leave a comment, and we'll see you at the same time next week.

Star Wars: Malak Season 2 Ep 1

Hey everyone! DF and I are back for another series of Malak. It’s the same amount of eps, same release dates etc etc. Anyway, have fun! 3,946 BBY - Coruscant, Jedi Temple ruins A few months have passed by since the battle of Dromund Kaas. The former Sith Emperor Darth Malak now resides on the dystopian planet of Coruscant in the ruins of the old Jedi Temple that resided there. Now, he was an exile to the Sith, just as Meetra Surik was to the Jedi. From the old Jedi Council Chambers, Malak would be looking off into the distance, seeing the grey moon glowing over Coruscant’s once beautiful skyline, before he looked down at the bottom of the all but destroyed Temple. Malak took in a deep breath and was about to step over the edge of the windowsill, when he suddenly heard a voice he hadn’t heard in many years. “What are you doing, Malak?” Malak quickly stopped himself from his act of suicide, as he slowly turned around and saw a Jedi wearing brown robes and silver armor that had a bald head and a muscular appearance standing at the opposite end of the room. “Marcus Halcyon. Long time, no see, old friend.” Marcus Halcyon only took a few steps closer to Malak, as the silent wind gently blew against him and Malak. “Why are you living like this, Malak? Shouldn’t you be running your own Empire?” Malak glared at Halcyon, as he closed his reconstructed cybernetic hand into a rusty, metallic fist. “Revan dethroned me by using Essence Transfer to possess the man that was supposed to be my Apprentice. Now, he rules the entire galaxy from the Sith Academy on Korriban…” Malak then unclipped his Lightsaber from his belt and threw it towards Halcyon’s feet, before he spoke through the cloth he was wearing to disguise his cybernetic jaw to prevent anyone from knowing who he really was. “Kill me, Marcus. It is Revan you and whatever Jedi survived my wrath want now, not me. I am nothing to you, just as Meetra Surik was to the Council.” Halcyon stared at Malak’s Lightsaber on the ground for a moment, before looking back at the man who he used to fight alongside during The Mandalorian Wars. Malak waited patiently, before Marcus finally responded. “No, Malak. It isn’t the way of the Jedi to kill those that have been wronged. I and the other Jedi have sensed Revan’s return from across the galaxy on our hiding spot, while you were utterly humiliated by your former Master. If there’s one way we can defeat Revan, it can be with your help.” Marcus then extended one hand out to Malak, who only stared at it for a moment. He remembered the old days, when he, Marcus, Revan, and Meetra Surik fought back against the Mandalorians during the war, when he and Jedi like Marcus used to be friends. Now, they were enemies, but Marcus was willing to forge an alliance with his former friend. “You may be the last hope of restoring the Jedi to their former state, Malak..” 3,946 BBY - Korriban, Lightsaber Dojo Inside the new Sith capitol on Korriban, Emperor Revan would be walking slowly down the halls of his new Sith Palace, when he opened one of the countless doors in the hallway and saw his new Sith Apprentice, Atton Rand, fighting hard and valiantly against the training droids in the Lightsaber Dojo that Revan had installed in the building. Atton would cut down the last remaining training droid in the room, just as Revan arrived, before Atton dropped his Lightsaber and collapsed to the floor, tired and sweating from head to foot. “Round Forty-Seven complete!!” After the loud speaker proclaimed this, Revan walked towards his Apprentice, who looked up and saw his Master towering over him. “Well done, my young Apprentice. I sense that your strength has been growing with each day that passes…” Atton picked his Lightsaber hilt back up off the ground and rose to his feet, sweating from head to foot. “What is your will, my Master?” Revan flinched inside his mask for a moment, before he regained his composure. He was in this mysterious battle with a dark aura that was trying to control his mind. He did resist it, but had trouble doing so. Finally, the Sith Lord responded. “My personal agents appear to have located Darth Malak at last. He is inside the Jedi Temple on Coruscant with a Jedi named Marcus Halcyon….” Atton’s head perked up when he heard the mention of Malak’s name. “Send me to deal with that pretender! He and his Jedi friend shall FALL!!!” Revan sighed under his mask. “I think not, Apprentice. I will send Yuthura Ban with a Sith Imperial strike team to deal with Malak. Though you are growing increasingly powerful, you are not ready to challenge an opponent as powerful as Malak is..” Atton glared at Revan, as his eyes glowed an even brighter shade of yellow than they already were in previous days. “But, Master. This is what I’ve been WAITING for! Let me FIGHT them BOTH on Coruscant!!!” “No, Atton. Malak has grown in strength since The Jedi Civil War ended. You would surely be killed by him. Yuthura Ban will go to Coruscant with an Imperial strike team…” Back on Coruscant, Malak continued to stare at Marcus Halcyon, as the Jedi offered for Malak to forge a temporary alliance between him and the Jedi. “Isn’t defeating Revan what you want above all else, Malak?” Malak was about to respond, when a massive light shined upon the dusty floor, forcing him to Force Pull his Lightsaber to his hand and then reignited the crimson blade for the first time since Dromund Kaas, with Halcyon doing the same, before they both saw a Sith Imperial Gunship facing them. Malak tightened the grip on his Lightsaber, as he saw Sith Troopers holding their blasters in both his and Marcus’s direction, before he saw a purple-skinned Twi’lek standing among the footsoldiers, holding a Lightsaber in her hand. “Emperor Revan has decreed an order for nobody to step foot on these ruins. Surrender and prepare to be detained or we will open fire!” Malak turned to Halcyon, who was preparing to fight the Sith forces. “You ready to fight Revan’s lapdogs, Halcyon?” That’s it. Hope you enjoyed the start of the new season. As always, leave your thoughts in the comments and I’ll see you next week

Ahsoka: What We Know So Far

The Ahsoka series has gotten some of if not the most hype for a Star Wars show in ages. It’s been a while since we had a really good series, with Kenobi and TBOBF being kind of a washout, and many fans still sitting on the fence about Andor. We need a Star Wars show that can lift up the fans more than ever, and this might just be the show to do it. WARNING: Possible spoilers ahead Release Date: We don’t currently have a release date for Ahsoka as of yet, but that does not mean that we cannot speculate. We know it will be this year, and with Mando coming in the early part of the year, we can assume that Ahsoka will be coming around half-way through, so around August or even October, depending on how long Mando takes. We’ll just have to hold it until we get a set date. Plot and Cast: Ahsoka will be set around 5 years after Return of the Jedi, as well as after the end of Mando Season 2. She is travelling in search of Grand Admiral Thrawn. This proves many fans suspicions, including my own, that he will be the main antagonist in this series. He will be played by, surprise surprise, Lara Mikkelsen. While we are on the topic of Rebels characters, it had been CONFIRMED that Emad Esfandi has been cast as Ezra Bridger in this series. Ray Stevenson has also been cast to play some mystery villain in Ahsoka… most likely an original character that we have never seen before. And now we move onto the one and only Haden Christensen. It has also been confirmed that he will play a part in the Ahsoka series, either donning the iconic Darth Vader outfit for a flashback or appearing possibly as a Force Ghost or maybe a Clone Wars flashback. That’s all the casting and plot info we have for now but I will update this section with any new info that comes out. Trailers: Alright, so we got a little trailer at the end of last year giving us a sneak peak at what happens in the series. It doesn’t really show us all that much that we haven’t seen, just a few flashbacks and even a shot of a clone trooper, which was maybe from Grogu’s Force Vision that happened in Mando S2. There are a few scenes with Luke as well which shows us that she will most likely keep training with him and maybe this will lead up to when he gets his first students in his academy 🤔… we will have to wait and see. It also shows flashbacks of her duelling Mando, which makes me think we might see her perspective of that fight. There is also her walking into the Magistrate’s temple, and her landing on the planet where she finds Mando, which makes me think we might get to see what she was up to before that. That’s all this trailer offers, and we might not get another one for a while because it might cut into some Mando Season 3 spoilers. Again, I will keep you posted on this section when we get some more info. That’s everything that I have so far. If I have missed anything that I should know, tell me down in the comments and I will add it to the post, as well as any new details that get released/leaked. I really look forward to this series and seeing how it will develop Ashoka’s story after the events of Rebels. I hope everyone is enjoying the New Year and I will see you all later.

Star Wars: Malak Season One Finale

Merry Sithmas everyone! Here is the long awaited Malak Finale. Have fun , comment your thoughts on Season Ine and any predictions you may have for S2, and have a very merry Christmas. Malak S2 will begin in February, with Myself, DF and Lego at the helm. See you all next year!Back on The Leviathan, Emperor Malak would watch from the bridge, as his entire Empire dropped out of Hyperspace, allowing him to see the surface of Dromund Kaas from afar. Finally. After all these years, I’m going to kill you, Vitiate… Malak then heard the doors open, as Admiral Onasi entered the bridge. “What shall we do, my Lord?” Malak turned to Onasi with a look in his eyes that told him exactly what he needed to do. “Raze the planet, Admiral.” Almost immediately after Malak uttered that command, his Sith fleet opened fire upon the surface of Dromund Kaas, catching Vitiate’s own Empire completely off-guard, as a bloodbath began between the two existing Sith Empires, one belonging to a man whose life spanned a millenia, the other to a fallen Jedi Knight. As Malak watched the battle commence from the bridge of The Leviathan, he immediately turned to Admiral Onasi, whilst Vitiate’s Sith Empire tried fighting back against him. “Prepare my ship. Lord Bandon and I are going to hang the Emperor’s head on my wall ourselves.” “As you wish, Lord Malak.” Malak proceeded to leave the bridge, as he contacted Nihilus, Visas Marr, and his Apprentice to inform them about the coming duel. “Meet me in the main hanger bay. We’re going to kill Vitiate and slaughter his Dark Council like animals soon enough.”  When Malak eventually arrived at the main hanger bay, he was pleased to see that Nihilus, Visas, and Bandon were there as he had expected, before they took the shuttle and began flying towards the capital palace on the planet, ignoring the ships that attacked them on the way down to the surface. Upon their arrival, Visas opened the shuttle doors, as Malak saw an entire horde of Sith Troopers holding their blasters in his direction, before igniting his Lightsaber and shooting Force Lightning towards them, torturing them until their bodies were nothing but a mere husk of their physical form. Once he finished slaughtering those Sith Troopers, Malak stepped back, as Bandon blew open the doors with the Force and then followed his Master into the palace, fighting off more of Vitiate’s forces with his double-bladed Lightsaber, until they entered the chambers of The Dark Council. From the moment Malak, Nihilus, Visas, and Bandon stepped foot into the chambers of The Dark Council, everyone in the room charged towards the four Sith Lords and began overwhelming them from all sides, before Bandon lashed out at them all with massive waves of Force Lightning, sending them all flying backwards, while the building began to crumble. Pretend this is Bandon here Malak cackled when he saw The Dark Council suffer under the raw power of his Apprentice, before he cut down a few more Sith Troopers that tried shooting him down. “Well done, my Apprentice!!!” Bandon then flicked his wrist and threw his Saberstaff at the necks of every single Dark Council member, beheading them all in the process. Once Bandon finished The Dark Council, he and Malak struck down Lord Scourge and blew the doors open with the Force, seeing a hooded figure sitting on a throne only lit by torches hung up on the walls. The figure lifted his head to see Malak, Bandon, Visas, and Nihilus standing in the doorway, revealing the physically deformed face of the Sith Emperor Vitiate. “Malak! I was beginning to think you’d never return to try and finish me, but now, here we stand in my throne room, just as we did with Revan all those years ago….” Malak entered a defensive position, as he tried resisting the cold presence Vitiate emanated throughout the room. “I destroyed Revan and the Jedi. Now, I shall destroy YOU!” Vitiate slowly stood from his throne, as he raised his hands in a strange position. “So be it…   false Emperor.” Before Malak knew it, Vitiate was blasting endless volleys of Force Lightning towards him and the other three Sith that were with him, as he and Bandon deflected the blasts, while Nihilus and Visas were sent skyrocketing back into the chambers of the now dead Dark Council. When he saw Malak and Bandon deflecting his Force Lightning torrents, Vitiate couldn’t help but feel impressed at how much Malak’s strength has grown, as he stopped the attacks and ignited a very dark red blade, before twirling in the air and roaring like a raging shadow towards Malak and Bandon, who were immediately engaged in a duel with the Sith Emperor. Pretend this is Vitiate, Malak, and Bandon here Sparks of red would flash throughout the room, as Vitiate unleashed devastating attacks that were so quick that Malak could only see the Sith Emperor as a crimson blur, while Bandon seemed to be having better luck on the other hand. But as they fought, Malak noticed one weak spot in Vitiate’s technique and quickly took advantage of it, slicing him across the leg, only to be hit in the chest with more torrents of Force Lightning. “Your arrogance BLINDS YOU, Malak!! It appears as if something is holding you back from stopping me!!!!” Malak stood up and stared at Vitiate, as Bandon continued attacking him from one side. “We’ll see about that, your ‘highness’.” Using the Force, Malak began to pull an entire Sith Dreadnought from the sky, before pulling it down on top of the temple, attempting to kill Vitiate with it, but the attempt was a failure at best. Pretend this is Malak here Seeing that Malak was the one that brought that Sith Dreadnought down, Vitiate slammed his fist into the ground and sent both Bandon and Malak smashing into the walls, before orange waves of energy suddenly appeared and began sucking the life out of the Emperor. Turning his head, Malak saw that Nihilus was trying to drain Vitiate of his life force, with Visas charging towards him. However, Vitiate would use a devastating form of Force Repulse to send Nihilus and Visas flying away from him, Malak, and Bandon in the throne room. Pretend this is Vitiate here “Give up, Malak! You know you cannot win this fight, even with the INFINITE army you have at your disposal..” Malak quickly stood back up and lashed out at Vitiate with Force Lightning, allowing Bandon to cut the Sith Emperor in multiple places with his Lightsaber. Although, Vitiate would knock them off-balance with two, massive blasts of Force Destruction, before looking up at the sky and raising his hands, shooting Force Lightning more powerful than ever at Malak’s fleet, causing the Dreadnoughts and other ships to begin falling from the clouds. Bandon briefly turned his head to the broken doors, seeing Nihilus and Visas fighting off more Sith forces, then looked at his injured Master, who was trying to muster the strength to combat the Sith Emperor. Standing up, Bandon reached out with his hand in the shape of a pincer, as he began choking Vitiate with the Force, before blasting him with red Force Lightning with both hands and sending him flying into his throne in a net of electricity. As Vitiate slammed into his seat and fell over on the armrest, Malak got up and reignited his Lightsaber, alongside Bandon, before they slowly marched towards Vitiate, who strained on the ground in agony. “So…   this is how it all ends, eh? Well, I guess there was a reason why the man standing next to you was prophesied to be the literal Heart of The Force, after all..” Malak froze when Vitiate said those words. He knew the Sith Emperor was obviously talking to him, and knew Bandon was standing next to him, but thought there would be no way he prophesied to be The Heart of The Force, unless…          It was Revan all along! Before Malak had time to react, Bandon drove his Saberstaff through Malak’s defenses, slicing the Sith Lord’s prosthesis cover in half and cutting his cybernetic arm clean off. Malak roared in pain, as Bandon kicked him in the jaw and knocked him over in front of Vitiate. After this, Bandon saw Visas and Nihilus charging towards him and threw his Lightsaber into the chest of Nihilus’s Apprentice, before grabbing her own blade and making a few clashes with Nihilus, until he decapitated his opponent with an overhead strike. Bandon would watch, as Nihilus’s body fell backwards and exploded in a burst of violet Dark Side energy, before turning to Malak, who was bleeding all over the ground and holding his severed arm. “IMPOSSIBLE!! I thought you had said you never learned Essence Transfer!!!!!!!!” Malak would look up, as Bandon smiled devilishly. “I lied. As I have from the very beginning, old friend.” Reaching out with the Force, Bandon would begin to choke Malak, before throwing him into the chambers of The Dark Council, as he turned to see a mortified Vitiate from across the room. “Revan!?!? How did this happen?? How did you survive!?!?!?” Bandon, now revealed to be Revan, chuckled, before speaking to Vitiate. “‘The Dark Side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some would consider to be unnatural.’ That was what you told me and Malak in this very same throne room, and I’ve taken those words to heart, but now, it seems as if even you have undermined your own words.”  Vitiate screamed as loud as he could in the room, before shooting Force Lightning towards Revan, who deflected the blasts with Visas Marr’s Lightsaber, whilst Malak began limping out of the throne room, injured and needing an immediate escape from the palace. Yet, he couldn’t help but watch, as the man that was supposed to be his Apprentice challenged the Sith Emperor head-on in the throne room. Suddenly, Malak heard blaster fire going off, as he turned his head and saw some of his Sith Troopers shooting down some of Vitiate’s Sith Marauders. Malak looked back at the throne room, as he saw that Revan was beginning to struggle against Vitiate’s raw power, but kept trying anyway. Finally, Revan would get close enough to Vitiate and roared at the top of his lungs. “This ends HERE AND NOW!!!” Revan then thrusted Visas Marr’s Lightsaber into Vitiate’s heart as deep as he could, causing a massive explosion that destroyed half of the palace and sent Malak flying backwards, as he hit his head on one of the seats of The Dark Council and was knocked unconscious instantly. A few months would go by since the battle of Dromund Kaas. Darth Revan has now retaken his Sith Empire and has abandoned the body of Darth Bandon, creating a new clone body for himself to inhabit and now having recovered his mask and constructed a new Lightsaber. Now, Revan travels to the Korriban Sith Academy in search of an Apprentice to replace Malak, who had survived the battle of Dromund Kaas, but had previously disappeared. When he stepped foot in one classroom in the Academy, Revan would look around the room, before turning to one of the Sith Masters instructing the Apprentices. “Anyone who is top of the class?” “Yes, Lord Revan. Yuthura Ban and Atton Rand.” Revan’s eyes darted to two Apprentices in the classroom, one being a Twi’lek with purple skin, the other being a human male with brown, medium-sized hair and hazel eyes. After pondering which one to choose for some time, Revan pointed to the human. “Step forward, Atton Rand.” Atton would leave the other students behind, as he knelt down before Revan, who ignited his amethyst blade. “My former Apprentice, Darth Malak, has been missing for the past few months. I am a Master without an Apprentice, but I sense great strength in you. Henceforth, you shall replace Malak at my side and we shall restore peace and justice to the galaxy…” Revan would cross his Lightsaber over Atton’s shoulders, before deactivating it and allowing his new Apprentice to stand up, with Atton now having a golden fire in his eyes. “Where shall we start, Lord Revan?”

How The Sequal Trilogy Can Be Fixed

Merry Sithmas everyone! I hope everyone is having a great start to their Christmas celebrations. Today we will be discussing how the Sequal Trilogy can be fixed. It has had a lot of scrutiny over the past 7 years, and there are many fans who hate it, but also some who love it. I am a mixed bag. I loved TFA, hated TLJ, and didn't mind TRoS. Feel free to leave your opinions in the comments in terms of your fixes, and whether or not you agree with my points. How Episode 10 Could Fix The ST Rey can finally earn her Skywalker name   Arguably the biggest mistake of Rey's story came with who the team at Lucasfilm made her. Outside of what certain groups think about whether Rey should be a Skywalker, a Palpatine, or a nobody, the lack of clarity and constant changing of Rey's heritage was the most frustrating aspect of her character in the sequels. With Rey having the name Skywalker going into Star Wars 10 though, this mistake can be fixed. With the issue of her parentage out of the way and her full acceptance of the name Rey Skywalker, Star Wars 10 can focus less on where Rey comes from and focus instead on where her future lies. By embracing the Skywalker name by connecting with Force ghosts like Luke, Anakin, and Ben Solo (Anakin's grandson) to help her build a new Jedi Order, Rey can solidify herself as a Skywalker once and for all.   Finn becomes a Jedi   The concept of a Stormtrooper-turned-Jedi was extremely exciting for many (including myself) when the first trailers for The Force Awakens were released. This concept, despite not coming out exactly as hoped in the sequel trilogy, could be fixed in Star Wars 10. With TRoS hinting, yet still being frustratingly unclear, at Finn's Force connection, Star Wars 10 could build on this by having Rey train Finn in her new Jedi Order. By having Boyega and Ridley be the co-leads of the next Star Wars movie, Lucasfilm could kill two birds with one stone. Not only would the criminal wasting of John Boyega in the sequel trilogy be rectified, but Finn's full transition from a First Order trooper to a fully-fledged Jedi could be complete alongside Rey Skywalker.   Poe Continues Leia's Legacy One of the best parts of TLJ was seeing Poe take over. With Star Wars 10, Poe's future could follow from TLJ and fix the sequel's mistake by making him integral to the story and the galaxy. As Poe's story in TLJ revolved around Leia grooming him to eventually lead the Resistance, Star Wars 10 could show him as the leader of the galaxy's new military of a reformed Republic that he helped build. This would not only continue the aspects of Poe's character that worked exceptionally well in action sequences (his flying abilities and charismatic personality) but also make him much more important than in the sequels and continue Leia's legacy through him. How the TV Shows Can Fix The ST How Shows Are Already Helping The Sequels   From its very first episode, The Mandalorian shows us that there are still groups of stormtroopers in the galaxy, unwilling to give up their old ways or even their armour. This lays down the groundwork for how the First Order appears at the beginning of TFA with new battalions of stormtroopers. This major part of the story is never properly explained in the sequel movies. The Mandalorian also explains beskar, the metal alloy used to make Din Djarin’s Mandalorian armour, with the ability to deflect blaster bolts. This gives the potential to give backstory to the First Order’s Captain Phasma, who wears similarly shiny armour which can also deflect blaster bolts — this would be a minor retcon because Phasma’s armour is canonically made from a different metal, but it would be a logical and believable change to make.   How A Well-Made Show Can Save The Sequels   A Star Wars show set between the events of TLJ and TRoS could do wonders for the characters, and fit enough into the story to make the ST actually make sense. A difficult task, perhaps, especially with how much crap the ST has copped over the past few years, but certainly not an impossible one. The big problem is, of course, that a show like this would need to be carefully planned and well-written, balancing a good plot with Star Wars canon connections. Writing, in particular, is key, as demonstrated by the fact that Rebels has failed to fully emerge from the shadow of Clone Wars’ earlier success.   Thanks again for reading. As always, like, follow, and leave your opinions on how the ST can be fixed in the comments. Have a great Christmas season and as always, MTFBWT.

Star Wars: Malak - Catchup

With the finale just around the corner, many people (including myself) have forgotten what has happened. Here are all the eps 1-9. (You guys really need to put a word cap on this it's got like 8000 wordss). Ep 1 *3,956 BBY* Darth Malak's red lightsaber blade hummed in the silence of the bridge of Darth Revan's flagship. Standing opposite him was Darth Revan, red and purple lightsabers in hand. They were in the middle of a space battle between the Sith Empire and the Old Republic, and Malak had just challenged Revan to a duel for mastery of the dark side. Revan lunged at Malek, lightsabers swirling and cutting. Malek dodged and blocked the strikes with ease. Then Revan went in with a shock of Force Lightning, distracting Malak from the main therat of his sabers. he didn't see them until they had sliced clean through his jaw. Then Malak shocked Revan with a blast of Force lightning from under his sabre. Revan fell to the ground. Credit: Star Wars Fandom Revan crawled away from Malak, raising his hands to deliver his own barrage of lightning. But before Revan could deliver the deadly blow, Malak reached out with the Force, lifted Revan off the floor, and choked his old Master. Revan squirmed, hands clutching his throat, trying to pry off the invisible hand that was the Force. While he was choking Revan, Malek unleashed another, more deadly stream of Force lightning. Pretend this is Malak and Revan (Credit: Wookiepedia) Revan screamed in agony as the Force lightning burned him alive. After Malak had heard enough of his old Master's screaming and begging, he released him and dropped him to the floor. Then he took both of Revan's lightsabers and ignited them. He then formed a cross at Revan's neck and chopped his head off. Revan's dying scream filled the ship. He had done it. Pretend this is Malek and Revan. The battle still raged outside the ship, so Malak ran to an escape pod, jettisoned it, and steered it away from the conflict, towards the nearby planet of Tulpaa. While he flew to safety, he tried to heal his jaw as best he could, but could only manage to stop any infection and ease the pain. He then began pondering the dangers of the planet below that was home to the Star Forge. Ep 2: Malek's escape pod touched down on the desolate planet of Tulpaa. He stepped out and looked into the setting sun. Tulpaa was rocky, and had few outstanding features. There were a few rock formations dotted here and there, but not many. His first mission was to fix his jaw, which Revan had sliced off back in that fateful final encounter on his dying flagship. Speaking of which, he could still see the battle raging overhead. Malak found an old respirator/face shield in the back of his escape pod and attached it to his face. Then he left the pod, carrying his little rations, and began looking for life.  Pretend this is Malak *2 weeks later* Malak had been walking for days, and he had found nothing, not even a rat. The sun was simply too hot for anything to live out in the open for long. The only reason that he had survived for this long was that he had his Force powers to sustain him and let him survive. But then he remembered something. All living things in the universe had the Force inside of them. He could use his own powers to find life in this barren wasteland. And so he opened himself up to the Force. He searched and searched, and just when he thought he could search no longer, he found something. A tiny blip on his Force radar. There was something here. Something, or someone... In any case, Malak knew where he had to go. Pretend this is Malak as well *2 months later* Malak had been walking for weeks and weeks. He was starving, severely dehydrated, and close to death. The only thing that kept him going was the sense of life and the possibility of food and water ahead. After two months of walking, he had come to his destination. A village hut lay in the distance, on a nearby ridge, and all Malak needed to do was reach it. He climbed the ridge and had his first good look at the hut. It was small and made out of sandstone, with a large archway for an entrance. He was about to enter it when he sensed someone behind him. "Hello there!" Ep 3: *19 BBY* Obi-Wan Kenobi was devastated. His former Padawan, and his best friend, had deserted the Jedi Order and become the Sith Lord known as Darth Vader. And here they were, floating on top of a lava river on Mustafar, their lightsaber blades a whirling tornado of death and destruction. Finally, their blades locked. "I have failed you, Anakin", said Obi-Wan, "I have failed you." "I should have known that the Jedi were planning to take over!", said Anakin. "Anakin, Chancellor Palpatine is evil!" "From my point of view, the Jedi are evil!" "WELL, THEN YOU ARE LOST!" They resumed their fighting, swinging and blocking and striking and parrying until Obi-Wan managed to jump from the floating platform to the nearby high ground, stalling the fight. "It's over, Anakin!", said Obi-Wan, "I have the high ground!" "You underestimate my power!", replied Anakin. "Don't try it!" "AAAAARRRRRRRRGGH!" Anakin jumped, and Obi-Wan reacted instantly, slicing off his legs at the knee, and his one organic arm at the elbow. Anakin tumbled to the ground, howling in pain. "You were my brother, Anakin!: Obi-Wan yelled, "I loved you!" "I HATE YOU!", screamed Anakin. "You were the Chosen One! It was said that you would destroy the Sith, not join them!" Anakin slipped on the slope, took a little tumble, and ended up just mere centimetres from the lava river. A spark landed on his clothes, and they caught fire. Obi-Wan was forced to listen to his old friend scream in agony as he burned alive. Obi-Wan stepped down onto the bank, picked up Anakin's lightsaber, and walked back up to Padme's ship. *0 BBY* Old Ben Kenobi looked at the menacing Sith Lord that faced off against him in the halls of the Death Star. Vader's red lightsaber hummed in the silence of the hallway. Old Ben looked up at Vader without fear, but acceptance. He knew what he must do to save Luke and bring down the Empire. "Your powers are weak, old man", said Vader. "If you strike me down, I will become more powerful than you can possibly imagine", replied Ben. "The circle is now complete. When I left you, I was but the learner. Now I am the Master." "Only a master of evil, Darth!" They resumed their battle, lightsabers clashing. In a sense, Vader was right. His powers were weak. They had begun their decline after that fateful battle on Mustafar, and even more still after he exhausted himself at the battle on Vanqor. He noticed that Luke and his friends were nearly at the Falcon. He knew the time was right. Old Ben lifted his lightsaber, and Vader took a swing. Just before the lightsaber made impact, he drew on what Master Yoda and Qui-Gon Jinn had taught him. He drew on the Force, and let go of life. When the lightsaber hit home, he became One with the Force. Old Ben felt a rushing wind in his ears, and then everything went black. When he opened his eyes, he saw Vader probing his fallen robe, and Luke and the others flying out of the Death Star. Now all he had to do was wait. *4 ABY* Old Ben looked over the celebrations on Endor, accompanied by Yoda and a newly redeemed Anakin.  as they enjoyed the victory that they had just achieved. Ben was enjoying the moment immensely. He began to feel a tingling in the back of his head, and as he reached up to scratch it, the world blacked out.  Ben woke up in a white tunnel, with the light blinding him from all sides. He looked around and found a path bordered by black light. He walked down the path, looking along the sides. There were windows all along the corridor, windows that showed the past. There was him, fighting Vader on the Death Star, and then on Vanqor. There he was, fighting Anakin in Mustafar. There was him fighting Dooku above Coruscant, and then on Geonosis. He saw himself fighting Maul on Naboo. He looked through more windows that offered glimpses further into the past, like when Darth Bane created the Rule of Two, and when Malgus ravaged Alderaan. He then reached the end of the path and saw a man in a desolate world, looking at an abandoned hut on a ledge. Old Ben stepped through the window and got transported to that point in time. He looked at the man for a moment longer, and then called out to him.  Ep 4: Malak turned around, lightsaber already ignited, gathering his Force powers to deal with this stranger. But what he saw surprised him. He saw an old man, with greying hair and a bushy beard. He was wearing a brown cloak, with a white tunic.  but what was even more interesting was that he had a pale-blue aurora surrounding his body, like a halo, except a little faded. In response to Malak's lit lightsaber, he raised his hands and spoke with a calm and collected tone, "Don't be afraid. I am not here to fight you. In fact, I am not sure why I am here, myself." "Who are you?", asked Malak, "Speak, before I end your life!" "I have no life to end, my friend", replied Obi-Wan, "I come from beyond the grave." "Speak your name, or I shall send you back from where you came!" "'My name is Obi-Wan Kenobi, but you can call me Ben." "I will call you what I please, old man." "Please, let's be civil about this." "Civil about what? This conversation? There is nothing to be civil about! I am at war! I killed my Master, and now my own army is attempting to kill me for treason! Now leave me, before I part your head from your shoulders!" "I cannot leave. As I said, I do not know how I got here, and I have no idea in the slightest how I can get back." "Then you shall DIE!" Malak swung his lightsaber at Obi-Wan's neck, but it passed straight through. "As you can see, I am dead", said Obi-Wan, "And as such, you cannot harm me." Then Obi-Wan brought out a lightsaber of his own and swung it at Malak, who brought it up to meet it. To his surprise, the two blades locked, and Malak stared into the eyes of one of the most powerful enemies he had ever faced. "So I cannot harm you, but you can harm me", said Malak. "So it seems", replied Obi-Wan. "Well then", said Malak, "Let's see if I can break your strength and send you back to the grave nonetheless!" They began to duel, and what a duel it was. Malak was swinging his sabre, shooting Force lightning and trying to choke his opponent. At the same time, Obi-Wan either blocked all of his swings or let them pass through his body, while simultaneously disappearing from sight and reappearing behind Malak in an attempt to surprise him and break his guard. But he never did. Malak fought on until they eventually found themselves in a final blade lock. "You are hard to kill", said Malak. "As are you", replied Obi-Wan. "I may not be able to harm you physically", said Malak, "But let's see about the Force!" Malak reached into the Force, found Obi-Wan's essence, and began to draw it out of him and into himself. Obi-Wan shrieked in extreme agony, as his life force was drained from him and into Malak's outstretched hand. Once Malak had drained Obi-Wan's strength, he looked over him with glee. "You have fought valiantly, old man", said Malak, "But you are no match for the power of the Dark Side." "You have... no idea... what I have... fought", said Obi-Wan, struggling for breath. "The Sith will never win!" "You say that with such certainty. How do you know what will come to pass?" "I have come from the future, and I know what will happen. Your Empire will fall, and the Sith shall die out. There is no dark side, no light. There is only the Force." At these words, something started to appear behind Obi-Wan. Something, or someone. Malak's eyes widened in surprise as another figure materialised behind Obi-Wan. This one had short, greying hair, green eyes, and the same robes as Obi-Wan. However, Malak could sense far more power in this ghost than in the old man's. This one, he felt could change the course of history. This one, he knew was the Chosen One. Ep 5: Malak turned and looked at the new person who had just materialized out of thin air in front of him. He was in utter confusion. One man had appeared out of thin air not 10 minutes ago, and now another?  Am I going insane?  That was Malak’s first thought. No. He could not be. He had fought that first man. He had drained him of his power. This was real. This was the Force manifesting itself in the spirits of those who had come before him. Either before, or…  After.  They had to have come from the future. He had heard of such Force manifestations, such ghosts that came from the past, but he had never heard of the two that he now faced. No stories about them came to him as he gazed at them.  They must be from the future.  Malak took a deep breath and drew his lightsaber.  In response, the two figures drew their sabers, sparkling blue against the dark evening sky. The two began to circle Malak, closing in on him, until Malak could reach out and touch them. That was when he struck.  Malak swung his saber at the nearest ghost, the younger one, who expertly blocked it while the older one, who called himself Ben, swung at his head. Channeling the Force, Malak grabbed hold of the saber blade and yanked it from the grip of the old man.  Pretend this is Malak Ben looked astonished. He had heard of this technique while studying the old Sith Holocrons in the Jedi Archives, but he had never seen it in action.  Malak felt elated at the old man’s confusion. Though he had no mouth to grin with, he certainly felt confident. He used the Force to push Ben out of the way, knocking him out on a stone cliff face, before turning to the younger foe and continuing the fight. Now armed with two sabers, he was much better matched against his one-bladed enemy. What he did not know though, was that this was the Chosen One, the one destined to destroy the Sith and bring balance to the Force.  Malak swung, the man blocked and counterattacked, and it went back and forth like that for a few minutes. Both men used the terrain to their advantage, hopping on top of boulders to gain the high ground, and leaping off them to get more power in their strikes. This continued until Malak leapt off a boulder onto his adversary and got caught in a blade lock.  Pretend they are in a bladelock “You have no idea what you have gotten yourself into,” said Malak, staring into his opponent’s eyes with a look of pure focus. “You have no idea about the power that I hold.”  “I know who you are, Malak,” said the man. “I know what you have done, and what you plan to do.”  “And how would you know that young one? I have never heard of you before, and you do not look like a Jedi from the past, or from this time.”  “I do not come from here, Malak. I come from elsewhere.”  “I guessed as much.”  They continued to duel, swinging, blocking, parrying, and striking until they ended up in another blade lock.  “I sense great power in you, boy,” said Malak, “But your power is nowhere near my level.”  “That’s where you are wrong, Malak,” said the man. “I am more powerful than you could possibly imagine.”  “Really? And who are you, who is more powerful than I could ‘possibly imagine’?”  “I am Anakin Skywalker. I am the Chosen One.”  Malak fell back in shock at what he had just heard. Skywalker? The Chosen One? He had heard the prophecies but had never taken them seriously. The Jedi had originally thought that Revan was the Chosen One before he went to war and turned to the Dark Side. Suddenly, his vision went black, and he was transported to a realm of visions.  There was a boy. Skywalker, if Malak remembered correctly, only younger. Running from a speeder bike with a figure riding it. The figure flipped off the speeder bike, igniting the blood-red blade of the Sith. Malak turned and saw another man standing in front of a ship, the green blade of the Jedi already shining in his hands. The two began to duel.  Malak was in space. He watched the young Skywalker fly a fighter into a massive battle station. He fired the lasers, and the battle station exploded, creating a massive fireball in the otherwise empty void of space. He closed his eyes and the vision changed.  Skywalker and what looked like a younger Ben were fighting a white-haired and bearded man in a dark hanger. Ben got slashed across the leg and Skywalker’s arm was sliced off by the new Sith. The other man escaped, and the vision faded.  Skywalker and Ben were back but on the bridge of a starship. They were fighting the same man as before, but they both looked older. Ben got a whole lot of walkways crushed on top of him, and Skywalker cut off the Sith’s hands and then decapitated him. The vision changed again.  There were many small visions. There was Skywalker and an old man killing a bald, dark-skinned Jedi. There were many Jedi dying. And then there was a massive one. Skywalker raided the Jedi Temple on Coruscant and killed all the Jedi that were in his way. Then the vision changed one last time to Skywalker kneeling on the floor of a cave, while a cloud of smoke formed a mask. Then everything went black, and Malak was transported back to reality. “Now you see, don’t you, Malak?” said Skywalker, “Now you see what is still to come.”  “I know what is to come,” said Malak, “And I have every intention of helping it come to fruition.”  He reached out his hand.  “Join me.”  Skywalker looked down at the hand in consideration. Then, without warning, he brought his saber up and sliced off Malak’s arm at the elbow. Malak howled in pain as all his anger and rage at being turned down boiled up inside him. Then he released it. Skywalker was knocked back beside Ben into the rock wall, where he was knocked unconscious. Malak used this diversion to roll over to his severed arm and press the button on his wrist link to summon his ship. He then removed and pocketed the wrist link. When his ship came, he gathered his strength and Force jumped into the cockpit. He then steered it into space. He entered some coordinates into his navicomputer and jumped to hyperspace. He was going to Katarr, and the one person he was going to find there.  Ep 6: "I am Anakin Skywalker. I am the Chosen One.""I have foreseen what is to come, and I have every intention of bringing it to fruition. Join me." *Shhhhhhhhhhhz* "Aaargh!" "I will never join you. The Sith will kill themselves out." "You will see, Skywalker. You shall see..." Malak woke with a start, sweating and breathing heavily. At first, he didn’t know where he was. Then he saw the swirling blue vortex of hyperspace, and it all came rushing back. Ben. Skywalker. The fight. And something else… something that he couldn’t quite put his finger on. Or rather, his whole hand. With dismay, he looked down at his new stump of an arm. How could he have been so weak, so blind? How did he not sense that Skywalker had clouded his judgement, that he was weakened from the visions that the Force had granted him? With a heavy sigh, Malak reached for the spare cybernetic arm that he always kept on his ship in case of emergencies such as this. He grabbed it and inserted it into his stump of an arm. Wincing in pain, he turned it on and inspected the components. After he was satisfied that everything was in working order, he sat up and took the ship out of hyperspace. Malak gazed out of his ship’s cockpit at the planet in front of him. Katarr had long ago been drained by one of the greatest Sith in generations, but it still held onto a sliver of life. There was one being down on the surface of that wasteland, and Malak was determined to find him. The landing didn’t cause any physical trouble. It was quite smooth actually, seeing as the atmosphere had been destroyed along with the life on the planet. It was more mental. As soon as he touched down, he felt a searing pain that he had never felt before tearing through his mind as if it was being ripped from his skull and torn into a thousand pieces. He writhed in agony as pain ravaged his mind like lightning bolts in a field. This, he thought, must have been how Ben felt when he drained all of his energy away, right before Skywalker had shown up. Skywalker. The one reason that he had come to this place. He had to kill Skywalker. He had rejected his offer of companionship, and so he must die. But Skywalker was unkillable, wasn’t he? Physically, yes. But spiritually? No. He was far from it. There was one power that could kill a Force ghost. One power, and only one to wield it. Steeling himself against the pain, he exited the ship and walked onto the planet’s spongy surface. He turned and saw a dark shape in the distance. A pyramid. That was his destination. He took one last look at his ship and ventured off into the unknown. Malak reached the entrance to the pyramid, but it was blocked off by boulders. Whoever was here didn’t want to be found, thought Malak. And with good reason. You don’t lock yourself away in the farthest corner of the galaxy for nothing, after all. Using the Force and great amounts of concentration, Malak grabbed the boulders and hurled them away from the temple entrance. No going back now, thought Malak. Every single thing inside that temple would have heard him make his entrance. Steeling his nerves, he stepped inside. Inside the temple was eerily quiet. Malak could hear his footsteps echoing along the blank stone hall, reverberating back to him to give him the sense that he was anything but alone. He passed room upon room and staircase upon the staircase, all leading down into the depths of the planet. He didn’t need to check each room. His senses guided him to where his objective was. Finally, he came down a staircase and through a big archway. Past that archway was a room. It was massive, bigger even than the old Sith training grounds on Korriban. In the centre of the room was a throne. Malak could sense the death and decay emanating from that throne. When he drew closer, he saw a figure clad in a black robe. And one white mask. “Nihilus”, said Malak. “I have found you at last.” “Who are you?”, asked Nihilus, “And why have you disturbed my eternal sleep?” “I have come to ask a favour, Nihilus. Sith to Sith.” “You still haven’t answered my question. Who are you?” “I have told you. I am Sith.” “That is not enough.” “What more must I tell you?” “Your NAME!” “Make me.” Nihilus stood as if to attack Malak but suddenly stopped himself. While no emotion showed on his mask, Malak could sense the surprise emanating from the man in front of him. There was something, or someone, behind him. Malak turned. In front of him stood a woman with flowing black hair and clad in a brown robe. She took out a double-bladed lightsaber and activated it, the blade glowing a bright yellow in the gloom. In response, Malak and Nihilus both took out and activated their sabres, piercing the gloom with blood-red light. “Who the hell are you?”, asked Malak. “The name’s Shan. Bastila Shan.” Ep 7:  Malak stared wearily at Shan. Where had she come from? How in the world had she known where to find him? And why was she here? Malak could only guess at these questions. In the meantime, he knew he had to kill her so he could continue with his master plan to destroy the Jedi and take over the galaxy. Malak raised his lightsaber and charged at Shan. As they fought, the sounds of their blades clashing would echo throughout the walls of the temple, before they got into a blade-lock. “HOW did you find me, Jedi!?!? How did you know where I was beforehand and if so, do you know what happens next???” Malak said. “I know what happened months prior, Malak. When that Sith Dreadnought exploded, we only found one thing that remained of your former Master: his mask.” Shan replied back. Malak’s eyes widened with shock. Of course! How could I have been so stupid? Malak thought to himself, as he remembered Revan’s mask was made of Beskar, a nearly indestructible Mandalorian iron. However, Malak would not see a surprise attack coming, as Darth Nihilus blasted him backwards into the wall with a Force Push, then blasted Bastila with torrents of Force Lightning.  Malak got up and was about to throw his Lightsaber at Nihilus’s neck to decapitate him, when he was suddenly hit in the back of the shoulder by a massive rock. The Sith Apprentice would fall over, as he looked up and saw another man wielding a crimson Lightsaber. He had a bald head, with one blind eye and a very unhealthy physical appearance. Malak knew who this was: Darth Sion, The Lord of Pain. “Lord Sion. I had heard of your battles during The Great Sith War. You must’ve been a highly respected Sith Marauder in Exar Kun’s Sith Empire. We could’ve RULED THE GALAXY together!!” Sion didn’t say anything, but merely chuckled, before he reached out with the Force and began choking Malak. He would struggle to breathe, as Sion slowly walked towards him, holding the hilt of his Lightsaber with a firm grip. “No, Malak. Nihilus and I were DESTINED to be trained under the watchful eye of Darth Traya, not you or the late Darth Revan. Now, your Sith Empire shall FALL!!” Sion proclaimed as he threw his Lightsaber towards Malak’s chest. Although, Malak proceeded to use Force Repulse to break free of Sion’s chokehold, before catching the blade with his free hand, the only hand he had left, and threw it back towards Sion, watching it slice deep through Sion’s ribs. Pretend this is Malak here To Malak’s utter surprise, Sion didn’t even show a single sign of pain, as he used the Force to pull his blade back towards his hand. “There’s a reason why I was named ‘The Lord of Pain’, Malak,” Sion said, firing a blast of Force Destruction towards Malak’s feet that sent him flying into Nihilus. As Malak got back up, he would not see a surprise attack coming from Bastila Shan, feeling hot plasma sear through his back as if molten lava was just poured onto it. Malak would roar in agony, as he fell face-first onto the floor, feeling like his spine was just caught on fire. He would begin to stand up, but Nihilus would reach out with one hand and would begin using the Dark Side to force Malak into joining him. The Sith Apprentice knew this ability. He remembered when he and Revan discovered the Sith Emperor Vitiate on Dromund Kaas and how he used the same ability to turn them to the Dark Side. Now, Nihilus was doing the same. Whilst he felt his mind bending to Nihilus’s will, Malak could hear the voice of the Sith Emperor in his head, chanting the ancient Sith Code created by Adjunta Pall thousands of years ago. Peace is a LIE. There is only PASSION. Through passion, I gain STRENGTH. Through strength, I gain POWER. Through power, I gain VICTORY. And through victory, my chains are BROKEN!! These words would motivate Malak to stand up, as he fired a Lightning Grenade towards Nihilus, but Sion got in the way and tanked the blast himself, sending him flying through the doors of the temple. Malak would then turn around and face Bastila, with a golden fire burning in his eyes. “Soon, I shall send your CORPSE back to The Jedi Council on Dantooine!! They’ll be PRAYING for someone to stand up and STOP me!!!!!” Ignoring the fact that Nihilus was still here, Malak began fighting harder than ever against Bastila, using Forms III and VI to counter the relentless attacks coming from her yellow double-bladed Lightsaber. As Malak fought Shan, Nihilus would begin to ponder some thoughts in whatever he had left for a mind. This man is proving himself to be quite powerful, more so than my dead Master. Should I join him..? Nihilus would think about this for a moment, until he saw Sion using Force Speed to dash towards Malak and Bastila, with the intent to kill Malak. Upon seeing that Sion was about to eliminate someone that had potential that would be wasted, Nihilus immediately made up his mind. Grabbing a massive boulder with the Force, The Lord of Hunger would hurl it towards Sion, as it smashed right into his legs and knocked him over before he began choking Bastila with the Force. Upon seeing that Nihilus was beginning to crush Bastila’s windpipe, Malak would be shocked, being completely caught off-guard by this surprise attack. After this, Malak would feel a sense of pleasure, though he still hadn’t gotten himself a cybernetic jaw replacement yet. Malak then thought about something to himself, as Bastila continued to gag. This man could be the key to EVERYTHING!! He and I can overthrow the Sith Emperor together, then destroy Skywalker afterwards… As he pondered this potential future, Malak couldn’t help but continue to feel like everything was going accordingly. But for now, he would have to wait and see if Nihilus was really as important as he thought he was. Ep 8:  For what seemed like hours, there would be a long silence between Malak and Nihilus, with Bastila’s gagging and the sounds of Lightsabers humming being the only thing that could be made out as sound in the room. Finally, Malak would speak to Nihilus. “Throw the Jedi into the wall. She’s not important right now.” Nihilus nodded, before he threw Shan into the nearby wall and knocked her unconscious. Once he was sure Bastila was knocked out, Malak turned to Nihilus, sensing that he was currently thinking about what to do next. “Sion is no longer our main priority. We shall leave this horrid place and go back to Lehon. There lies my Sith Empire, which has been without a leader for months and now, we will need to put it back together, assuming it disbanded when I killed Revan..” Right as Malak finished his sentence however, he was suddenly attacked from behind by Sion, who must’ve used the Dark Side to repair his smashed legs. “Nihilus, you deceitful CORPSE!!! We must KILL Malak and END the Jedi oursel-” Before Sion could have the chance to finish his sentence, Malak grabbed him by the arm and threw him across the room, before turning to Nihilus. “Finish him.” Nihilus then reached out with one hand, as orange waves of energy began flowing from Sion’s body to his own. The Lord of Pain would strain, before reigniting his Lightsaber and fighting back against Nihilus’s Force Drain, charging towards The Lord of Hunger. However, Malak would step in front of Nihilus and unleashed a devastating Form V attack, cutting through Sion’s right arm by the shoulder, just above the brim of a black sleeve that covered it. Pretend this is Malak and Sion here Sion would roar in agony and rage, before Malak caught his Lightsaber in mid-air and swung it right through Sion’s neck, ending his life in the process. Nihilus would watch, as Sion’s head fell from his body and onto the ground, then saw the rest of his corpse fall over backwards, with his disfigured head lying in between his feet. Malak deactivated Sion’s Lightsaber, before throwing it up into the air and cutting in half with his own blade, as it fell to the ground in pieces of metal, with the Kyber Crystal glowing on the ground next to Sion’s head. Pretend the Crystal is red here Malak turned to Nihilus once again, as The Lord of Hunger stared at the sight of Sion’s lifeless head. “Where’s your ship?” Nihilus looked up at Malak, before gesturing for his new ally to follow him outside. After this, Malak and Nihilus would walk outside of the temple, closing the doors with the Force and trapping Bastila inside with Sion’s lifeless body, before Nihilus pointed to a ship looming over the sky. Malak immediately recognized that ship as a Centurion-class battlecruiser known as the Ravager, which had been destroyed during The Mandalorian Wars, but had been reconstructed using the Dark Side of the Force. Malak turned to Nihilus, cocking one eyebrow at him. “Do you happen to have a shuttle?” Nihilus once again pointed in one direction and this time, Malak saw a girl wearing a dark red cloth over her eyes that stood next to a stolen Rendarian-class assault shuttle. “Who’s she.?” Just when Malak asked this, Nihilus slowly began walking towards the girl and the stolen Republic shuttle, with Malak falling not too far behind him, before he realized who that girl standing next to the shuttle was: she was a Miraluka Sith Apprentice to Nihilus. When Malak and Nihilus finally approached the shuttle, the Miraluka girl introduced herself to Malak. “My name is Visas Marr. I am the Apprentice to Darth Nihilus and a proud member of The Sith Triumvirate. Why does my Master bring you to me now, Lord Malak?” “I’m in need of transportation, m’lady.” Malak replied. “First, I need to go to the Sith Academy on Korriban because I am currently a Master without an Apprentice. Second, I need to travel to Rakata Prime in the Lehon system to see if Darth Revan’s Sith Empire has disbanded while I was missing.” “As you wish, Lord Malak.” Visas and Nihilus then entered the shuttle, as would Malak, before they left Katarr’s surface and flew towards the Ravager, which was currently orbiting the lifeless planet itself. Upon entering the main hanger to the Ravager, Visas and Nihilus would give Malak a tour of the reconstructed battlecruiser, before they eventually arrived at the bridge, where Malak saw just how much of the Dark Side this ship was running on. “A Centurion-class battlecruiser powered with only the Force. I’m impressed.” Nihilus made a gesture, before Visas went up to the controls at the end of the bridge and plugged in the Hyperspace coordinates, as the Ravager jumped into Hyperspace and left for Korriban at once. When the Ravager did jump out of Hyperspace, Malak immediately sensed waves of emotions coming from both the planet and the fleet orbiting it, such as anger, fear, and confusion, which was when he knew that his and Revan’s Sith Empire had crumbled within the months since the death of their leader. Malak immediately took the stolen Republic shuttle down to Korriban’s surface when he got permission from Nihilus and his Miraluka Apprentice, seeing many of his former Sith Troopers shooting each other down on the reddish-brown surface. Upon seeing what Revan’s Empire had become, Malak was utterly disgusted. He imagined there would be some infighting after he beheaded Revan, but never this bad. The Sith Apprentice proceeded to exit Nihilus’s stolen Republic shuttle and walk through the bloodshed, finding the nearest doorway to the Korriban Sith Academy. When he entered, however, he came across a malicious sight in one classroom: Sith Masters and Sith Apprentices arguing over things like leadership and obedience. This sight would fuel Malak’s anger, as he slammed his cybernetic fist down on the desk of one of the Sith Masters trying to calm the other students down. “WHAT IS GOING ON IN HERE!?!?!?”  When he screamed these words throughout the entire room at the top of his lungs, Malak managed to get the attention of every single Sith Apprentice, Warrior, Marauder, Acolyte, and Master in the room, as they all stared at him in shock and terror. Then, one of the Sith Masters managed to say something to the Sith Apprentice. “L-Lord M-M-Malak..?? What happened during that battle? What happened to Lord Revan “???? Malak stepped forward and stared at all those that were looking in his direction. Malak would wait for a moment, trying to come up with an explanation to sway his followers into becoming motivated to continue The Jedi Civil War, as revealing the full truth about Revan’s death would only mean more infighting. Finally, Malak would come up with a lie to restore the morale in his Sith disciples. “Revan and I were ambushed by a Jedi strike team led by the Jedi Knight, Bastila Shan. One of them made me lose my lower jaw, and another cut my Master’s head clean from his body. I was stranded on the planet for months, before I was finally rescued by two members of The Sith Triumvirate: the Sith Lord Darth Nihilus and his Apprentice, Visas Marr. Now, I have taken it upon myself to take Revan’s place, with Nihilus and Marr by my side. But first, which one of you Sith Apprentices would like to take on my former mantle..?” There would be a long silence in the room, before one of the students raised his hand: a man with a bald head and a mustache, as well as a goatee that looked more like a tattoo on his chin. Malak felt an immediate sense of pride when he saw that Sith Apprentice raise his hand, as he then made a gesture for him. “Step forward, Apprentice.” The man did as he was asked and took a few steps forward towards Malak, who would sense a great level of power in this student, before turning to one of the Masters. “Is he very high for training levels?” Malak asked, before the Sith Master replied back. “Top of the class, my Lord.”  “Good.” Malak then ignited his Lightsaber, as the man standing before him bent down on one knee and looked down at the ground, before Malak spoke again. “The Force is strong with you, young student. You shall become a powerful user of the Dark Side. Henceforth, you shall be known as Darth Bandon. Rise, my new Apprentice.” Malak would cross his blade over the man’s shoulders and head, as if he were knighting him like the Jedi would, before he deactivated his Lightsaber and let the man stand up. “What is thy bidding…      my Master?” Ep 9: Over ten years have passed since Malak rebuilt Revan’s Sith Empire. The Jedi Civil War had concluded and the Republic had crumbled under the might of Malak’s iron fist. The Jedi Order has been all but destroyed, with only a few in hiding. How Malak won the war was through his Sith Apprentice, Darth Bandon, who had learned the ability of Battle Meditation while he was at the Korriban Sith Academy and used it to annihilate both the Republic and the Jedi at the same time. Now, with Darth Nihilus, Visas Marr, and Bandon by his side, Malak was practically unstoppable. However, there was still the threat of the hidden Sith Empire on Dromund Kaas led by the Sith Emperor Vitiate, who was just waiting for the right opportunity to take the galaxy for himself. Knowing full well that Vitiate had this in mind, Malak had sent a few fleets to raze Dromund Kaas into a lifeless husk of a planet, but those Sith Dreadnoughts never came back. One day, Malak would be overseeing the view of Korriban from his throne room aboard Revan’s former flagship, the Leviathan, before he suddenly heard the doors behind him open. “What is it, Lord Bandon?”  Bandon proceeded to step forward, as he knelt before the Emperor. “My Master, I have sent a strike team to Dromund Kaas. Unlike the fleets we lost, they did us a favor and sent probes to investigate Vitiate’s base. We now know just how many ships they have, what their weapons are, and what their plan of attack will be….” Malak would stand from his throne, revealing a glove that covered his cybernetic arm, as well as a large, metal prosthesis that protected his prosthetic jaw. “Excellent work, my Apprentice. I shall inform Lord Nihilus of this upbringing and prepare all of our forces to combat Vitiate’s Empire on Dromund Kaas. In the meantime, will you rally all of our forces on Korriban, Corulag, and Mustafar to go join my Empire in the inevitable battle?” “What if some of them aren’t ready to charge into battle, Master?” Malak stared at Bandon, before responding to his Apprentice. “I do not care if they are still students or not. Tell them about the oncoming battle at once!!” Bandon let out a heavy sigh, before he stood up. “As you wish, Lord Malak.” The Apprentice then left the room, allowing Malak to sit back down in his throne and stare off into the stars, before he suddenly heard a voice in his head. “I know what history has in store for you, Malak. You are destined to die…” Malak then frantically stood up and ignited his Lightsaber, with his eyes darting across the room. He hadn’t heard that voice in a decade since he recruited Nihilus to his side. It was Skywalker. “Show yourself, NOW!!!!” “I’m standing right behind you, your highness.” Malak immediately turned around and saw Skywalker’s shimmering image standing before him. The Sith Lord would hold his Lightsaber tightly, before speaking to Skywalker. “Whatever vision you may have seen will be a lie. I will destroy Vitiate and then, I will use Nihilus to kill you!” “Unfortunately, that is where you are wrong, Malak. Sure, your power has grown to a point where you now rival the might of THE most powerful Sith other than you and Nihilus. However, you are destined to be betrayed by one you think very highly of..” Malak stared at Skywalker with nothing but hatred in his eyes. He was currently thinking about calling Nihilus to drain his Force Ghost until it was non-existent, but figured that would wait a while. Finally, Malak would speak again to Skywalker. “If you’re referring to either Nihilus or Lady Visas Marr, then you are wrong. They would know better than to betray me like that.”  “You are right, Malak. I am not referring to Nihilus or Visas, but rather, the man that is your current Sith Apprentice.” Malak looked at Skywalker for a few moments, pondering these words carefully. He had a point, as he had sensed Bandon’s power was growing rapidly over the years, until he spoke again. “Sure, Lord Bandon’s power may be rapidly growing, but he’s still not ready to take my place. Not yet…” “Yes. I’ve been watching you over the past decade, Malak. I know you’ve sensed something familiar in your Apprentice, but can’t put your finger on it yet.” Malak’s rage was beginning to boil on the inside, as his eyes glowed an even brighter gold than they had before. “Just get to the point already, Chosen One!!”  Skywalker would pause for a moment, before responding to Malak’s yelling. “I will not say what the answers to your questions are, Malak. I’ll leave that for you to decipher. But all I can say is that you don’t have the advantage you THINK you have….” After saying those last words, Malak would watch Skywalker disappear into thin air, before calming his mind and deactivating his Lightsaber, then sitting back down on his throne, a throne Revan once sat upon before he was slaughtered by Malak’s hands all those years ago. As Malak gazed upon Korriban from the massive window in front of him, he would suddenly feel a great darkness pulling him towards Dromund Kaas. Vitiate. Though Malak couldn’t hear the voice, he knew the Sith Emperor was taunting him to go to Dromund Kaas. Malak couldn’t help but chuckle slightly, as he knew he wouldn’t fall into a trap like that so easily. After waiting for what felt like hours, Malak would finally receive a transmission from one of the Sith Masters instructing the Apprentices at the Korriban Academy. “My Lord, all of our Apprentices, Acolytes, and other members of your Sith Order have accepted the offer to join you and Lord Bandon on the front lines.” When he heard these words, Malak simply cackled loudly in his throne room. “Good. The battle between my Empire and whatever threat Vitiate poses will end in one of us DESTROYING the other!!” The Sith Lord cut transmission with that one Sith Master, before he changed the channel to Sith Admiral Carth Onasi, who joined Malak’s Empire after the Republic fell at the bloodbath of Coruscant. “Admiral Onasi?” “My liege..?” “Contact every single Sith fleet across the galaxy. They shall join us in the oncoming battle soon enough.” After waiting for other Sith forces to arrive, Malak would finally see hundreds of thousands of Sith Dreadnoughts jump out of Hyperspace, before making an announcement that was broadcasted to all of those ships at once. “Attention, my fellow brothers and sisters! The time has finally come to combat a hidden Empire on the planet Dromund Kaas. We shall burn the crust to glass and exterminate the threat at once!!!” Inside the Sith Emperor’s fortress on Dromund Kaas, Lord Scourge would enter the chambers of Vitiate’s Dark Council, as he received some news from another Sith Warrior and decided to deliver them directly to the Emperor himself. “Your highness, I have received word that an infinite number of Sith Dreadnoughts are heading towards our capitol as we speak. Shall I ready our space and ground forces for attack?” Upon hearing this from Scourge, Vitiate immediately knew he was referring to Darth Malak and how he was bringing his Sith Empire directly to Dromund Kaas. He couldn’t help but smile, as the other Dark Council members discussed this news, unsure as to what it meant. “Prepare our air and ground forces, Scourge. If Darth Malak wants to try and kill me within the walls of this fortress, then so be it…”
