Darth Bane established the Rule of Two after the Sith killed each other. They were victims of their own greed, always wanting to be the most powerful and the master.

The Rule of Two has definity offset the power of the both the Jedi and the Sith. The two Sith got stronger and the Jedi population got weaker as the balance in the force was uneven. 

Knowing that things are not as balanced as they could be, I have to wonder how the balance between light and dark would be achieved. Obviously, seeing both sides just embrace the other is out of the question. Would the Jedi embrace a Rule of Two for themselves to balance the power? Would the Sith eventually multiply again to stand evenly against the Jedi?
