HERE IT IS. Completed with some voice acting (oh dear it is bad), some random music, some random sound fx and extremely clunky animation. I unfortunately don't have enough time to excel at everything so....... instead I'm a jack of all trades, master at non type of guy. However, as a starting point, its not too bad I reckon. The best thing about starting is that I can only go up from here.

So the story is pretty simple, Ahsoka and her droid sneaks into an imperial mining base and they stow away from an imperial shuttle. Nothing too crazy. The goal from the start was to create a cool pub scene where two guys are talking about random stuff and Ahsoka was eavesdropping in. But then it evolved into something else and now we have a whole ass animated short. Funny how these things just run its course. I do wanna talk briefly about some of the production stuff, what I liked about it, what I didn't like, and what I can and will improve on on the next chapter.

What I didn't like

Its easy to say the whole thing sucks if we compare it to luacsfilm animation. But I'd like to criticise myself with specifics. First of all, I had rly bad organisation and I was extremely indecisive with how I wanted to model the city. That took the longest time to complete because I didn't know how I wanted the city to feel. Ultimately, I settled with a budget undercity of coruscant. You might notice some of the shapes of the buildings, the colour scheme and the random pipes. Thats sorta where I comes from but I didn't want to dwell on trying to make it perfect because then I'll never complete anything. The second thing is the small mistakes that I didn't realise until the entire thing was rendered in colour. Like for example, the zabrak's horn texture was panning everytime he moved his head. Yeah........ thats because the texture setting was incorrect. It was set to "generated" instead of "object" which caused that. Same to Ahsoka's shirt texture. Those will be fixed before the next project. The last major thing was the lack of clean subtle movements. Like for example, Ahsoka's facial expressions, the zabrak's, the popping of Clone knees in their walk cycles. I guess I wanted to get that done as soon as possible so I never got around to polishing it. They will still in the pose phase. There was also zero eye ball animation.

Some good stuff

The lighting was beautiful. I'm proud of that. Also, the moving tracks like the truck wheels and the mine cart delivery machines. Those were absolutely awesome because when I modelled them and added constraints, they were designed to be automated. Other stuff I liked was how some of the shots resembled rebels.

Okay thats it from me. Thanks for watching and reading. I really hoped you guys enjoyed it. MTFBWY!
