Some late Theories for Bad Batch Season 2

With a few hours left to finally see the first episodes of BB Season 2, it's time to theorize about what we could see in this season. In this case, i will expand my first theories that i had in Season 1, as well as talk about the trailers and what we could see. Posts down below.

So, this contains spoilers from the show, you are advised citizen. So, i will show you some of my theories that i had before the show, and now they increase the chance to get them after the first 3 episodes. This is mostly because i am sure that we will get more than 1 season (maybe 4 like Rebels who knows).1) Origin of the Deathtroopers: Some people (including myself) see some resemblance in Crosshair with the deathtroopers: His coldness, brutal executions, get the job done, no hesitation and more capable than a normal recluit. Crosshair could be the one who trained the first batch of deathtroopers (the armor looks similar). In an apart note, i really like to see humans using clone armor (nod to the dark horse vader comics that are really worthy).2) Gideon and the Darktroopers: It makes huge sense that Dave starts putting some strings with his shows and connecting them all together. Gideon plays a key part in Filoni's plans ans seeing how he start his career in the Empire, and the early stages of the dark trooper project (with humans or clone bodies being used instead of fully droids).3) SCAR Squadron: These guys in the comics were great, and they have a very resemblance with the Bad Batch (taking the name Task force 99, being brutal in their missions and bringing trouble to their enemies, different looks and abilities). I have a theory on how the Bad Batch could be them which i will mention in another point. 4) More imperial officers appearances: With the changs that we are seeing between the goverment of the Republic and the Empire, we need to se some old faces really well known from the OT. My guesses could be a young Agent Kallus (and his training as an ISB agent), Yularen (we need to see his thoughts on the Empire, his change of attitude, forming the ISB), and more of Tarkin (his doctrine being the main message and law in the Empire). For Thrawn I think that it is too soon, but i will be down to see him later on. 5) Change the Clone armor for Stormtrooper armor: So, in a moment of the series we will get this (mostly after a main incident on Kamino), how the remnants of the clones who are loyal to the Empire will start using Stormtrooper armor and mixing with the human recluits.6) Clone rebellion: I will stop in this one, especially because of the stuff that they could make about this, and all the ways that a rebellion on Kamino could happen. First i will tell you how i see it (with a dark ending): The Bad Batch returns to Kamino, they must hurry in order to safe Crosshair from the Empire's wrath. Suddenly, they are surrounded by regs, Lama Su and Nala Se. We get the reveal of the true purpose of Omega. Hunter makes an inspirational speech to the other clones, than later on remove their inhibitor chip. The Empire is aware of this, so they send the best of the best to stop the rebellion before it is too late.A lambda shuttle comes down, the lower door opens up to reveal either the 501st with full clone armor or the 501st with new stormtrooper armor; and their leader, a dark lord of the sith, with a personal task revolving the Bad Batch. A huge war like the one from the Clone Wars, but instead of droids we get Storms (humans and clones) vs Clones. Omega and Hunter will escape, and the rest of the Bad Batch will stay behind protecting their withdrawal. Echo 's fate will be seal in here, and the rest of the Bad Batch face Vader in a badass scene. Vader puts them down without killing them, and they get Crosshair's treatment (brain the inhibitor chip to make them fully loyal and become the SCAR Squadron). Other choices instead of Vader could be Delta Squad (wich i am down to see) and Boba (at this point i think that he is too young to do this).Edit: After finishing The Imperial Handbook, i will post some interesting stuff about this.

The facility that we see at the end reminds me of dr pershing and the empire could have a big plan there.3)SCAR Squadron: I was fully wrong that the batch were gonna become SCAR Squadron, but that doesnt mean that we could see the start of this squad. In one of the episodes, Rampart and Tarkin really like the capabilities of the batch, even talking about how good could be to have a loyal squad with the abilities of the batch. SCAR Squadron could be created to counter them.4)More imperial officers appereances: We got some cool and short imperials appereances that will play roles in uncoming shows and stories. I still believe that Kallus will make an appereance later in the show in regards of the Lasat slaughter. With Thrawn i get some vives in regards of the instalation at the end, and how it could connect to the EU Thrawn trilogy.5)Change of armor: Glad that at least i was right in something (thats why Dave is great, you dont know what to expect from him). Loved to see the Ralph concept art of the stormtrooper being used in the series. Also, the human troops being trained by clone commandos makes me think that maybe these ones are for Darth Vader, as he always chose the best troopers in the entire army, making people like Mara Jade angry about this decision. Scorch appereance was a great nod to Republic Commando and can't wait to see Delta Squad again.6)Clone rebellion: We got some tease with Howser. His emotional speech made clones to think about the real purpouse and how wrong the empire is in their ways. It could still happen, but not how i expected it. Still, watching Tipoca City being destroyed was sad and it makes more impactul the events of Episode 2 and the Clone Wars arcs on Kamino.Here is the previous post:

1) Mount Tantiss: I don´t think there is a coincidence in here after what happened on Kamino and the juicy stuff that is romoured for Ahsoka (and beyond, like Mando S3 or Skeleton Crew to say an example), all tied to the Heir to the Empire trilogy re adaptation by Dave. In this case, perhaps some dirties experiments run by the Empire, it could be the Deathtrooper project (like i thought in S1, the bacta tanks like we have seen in Mando S2 (not Snoke though, another thing), something related to clonating force users for Palpatine, the Darktrooper Phase 0 (clones being used with implants in a gruesome way), or even more sinister things. Nala Se being part of the scientist makes me thing is something related to cloning (imagine if Grogu is a clone, a new thought i got). Tis could also mean that perhaps Thrawn makes an appereance, unlikely from my part but possible.

2) Palpatine's speech post Incident: Probably one of the first episodes, in this case with the Emperor dismissing the destruction of the city as another failure of the structure (during this time, the Empire never adresses their war crimes, instead they blame it on an "accident"). Interesting that Omega seems to be there, that means that the Batch is on Coruscant.

3) Crosshair, loyalty and Cody: At the end of Season 1, Crosshair decided to help the Batch rather than execute them for treason, giving him the status of traitor as well as being abandoned on the surface itself. Now He seems to be working again for the Empire, something strange given his reputation. I think that one of high command gave him another chance (Palps, Thrawn, Tarkin or Vader). The first 3 are unlikely, meaning that Vader could show up in here as well (or perhaps i am exaggerating on this one, and he is well accepted again without issue, which doesn't seems right in my head). Cody unfourtunate is going to defect, the way he acted in the trailers already gave it up (apart that the plan was to have him joined Kenobi in a drafted Obi Series). His fate won't be a good one, either sacrificing himself at the end of the show (last ep), or killed by Crosshair or Rampart (seems likely).

4) Cid, Gungi and Trandoshans / Wookies: Perhaps a 4 arc episode (or maybe 2 - 3) when Cid gaves the Batch a mission to retrieve / deliver a job for the droids that we see in the trailer, just to find a slave wookie child being captured (the droid mentions that he was betrayed, perhaps by the batch?), Gungi now is on the run and they decide to take him home (he could be protected there, if only they knew the Empire will slave the entire wookie population some time later). There was some concept episodes done for the CW show about the BB being on Kashyyyk, so it fells that they re use the concept. Hopefully we get some answers about Luminara, if she is on the planet helping the Wookies (shw was taken prisoner years later, when there was stormtroopers around), and some news on Sev would be cool (next theory)

5) Commandos on the hunt, Howzer's fate: The BB definitely has a big bounty on their head, now on the run hunted by the Empire. The best of the best is tasked to put them down. We see Scorch leading the squad of commandos as well as gathering the population (maybe to give intel about the traitorous clones so the citizens call when they see something) or it could be on Ryloth; which follows up with what happened with Howzer. Howzer's colours could be seen in Hunter's armor, which sounds like Howzer will die (maybe protecting the BB, The Syndullas, or someone else) and Hunter could take this act as an honorable thing, painting his armor remenbering him.

6) Bounty hunters, Black Sun?: Last but not least bounty hunters; we have seen Cad Bane and Fennec, hopefully with the bounties being on raise we can see some other bounty hunters trying to get them, like Bossk or Aurra Sing. Boba is a huge possibility (makes me wonder if he is in the 6th pic, the "bold one"). The last pic we see HUnter fighting a big droid, related for sure with that big android monster seen in the trailer. I mentioned Black Sun as that droid looks like the gladiator droids from Xizor (probably need confirmation on this one, as i noticed the similitude from the pixelated droid and the one we got in terms of texture and size).

7) Rex's last mission: Interesting that the last mission has REx without his armor and the Batch infiltrate what it looks like a Venator. Perhaps there is some key information about the Empire that the Rbels could use. Not sure about this one, we shall see in the show what it is about.

And that´s it. I did it in a rush while we wait for the episodes. Later on i will edit a few mistakes on the post if there were any.
