Hi everyone! Here is Episode 3.

3,946 BBY - Taris, abandoned city ruins

For the past few days now, Malak has been wandering around the dead city of Taris, trying to find survivors of when he burned the city to glass years earlier to get information on the whereabouts of Meetra Surik, knowing she’d be a part of the Criminal Underworld after being exiled by The Jedi Order. However, Malak has found nothing on her.

Malak sat under one of the trees next to the nearly demolished cantina and sighed heavily, opening his comlink to contact the last of The Jedi Council. “I was unable to find anything on Taris, Masters. I’m sorry…” Just as Malak turned off the comlink, however, he saw Marcus Halcyon rushing out of the cantina towards him. “Uh, Malak..   I think I’ve found someone….”

Standing up, Malak followed Halcyon back into the cantina and saw a few mercenaries breaking out into a bar fight, but what caught Malak’s immediate attention in particular was a woman sleeping on a table, clearly being drunk at the moment. Malak walked towards the sleeping woman and gently nudged her on the shoulder. “Meetra Surik?” Malak gently nudged the woman again, and this time, she awoke in a drunk haze. “I paid for this table, so whoever you are…   GET LOST!!”

Malak cocked an eyebrow at Meetra, who looked like she hadn’t slept in several days and clearly didn’t recognize him. “Meetra, Master Halcyon and I tracked you across the galaxy! Don’t you remember me?” Meetra blinked a couple of times, before she saw who was staring at her and couldn’t believe it. “Alek? The last time I heard about you was when you mysteriously disappeared and abandoned your Sith Empire…   where the Kriff were you?”

Malak turned his head for a second and saw Marcus trying to break up the bar fight, before looking back at Meetra. “Alek is gone, Meetra. It’s just Malak now. Revan returned from the dead and usurped my mantle of Emperor away from me. Now, I have to temporarily join forces with the Jedi in order to face Revan once more. Would you be willing to help me do so?”

Meetra sighed heavily and stared at the wine bottle lying on the table for a brief moment, then looked back at Malak. “I haven’t used the Force in so long because of what happened at Malachor…    it may take some time for me to regain my connection to the Force, but I can help you with trying to defeat Revan..”

Malak helped Meetra stand back up, before he saw that Marcus finally broke up the bar fight between the drunk mercenaries and was now walking towards him and Meetra, whom he hadn’t seen since she was expelled from The Jedi Order all those years ago after that dark day at Malachor V. “Hello, Meetra. It’s good to see you again…”

Meetra smiled and nodded, remembering the battles she and Halcyon participated in during The Mandalorian Wars. “It’s good to see you too, Marcus.” After this brief reunion, the three of them left the cantina, heading back to Marcus’s ship not too far from the ruins of the main city. Malak couldn’t help but feel it was good to see Meetra again for the first time in many years. Now, he was beginning to question if building the Empire Revan now ruled was really the right choice…

Upon their arrival back to Tython, Malak and Halcyon went inside the Jedi hideout with Meetra, but before they entered The Jedi Council Chambers, Malak turned to Meetra, knowing that she would feel a little uncomfortable standing before a group of Jedi Masters once again. “You ready?” Malak asked Meetra, who quickly responded to her old friend. “I’m ready.”

Halcyon then opened the door and Meetra stepped into the room, seeing Masters Atris, Vandar Tokare, Bastila Shan, and many others sitting in their seats and felt extremely nervous, remembering the day she was expelled from The Jedi Order many years earlier in a very similar room.

For a long moment, there was silence between Meetra and the other Masters, before Master Vandar Tokare broke the silence at last. “Hello, Meetra Surik. It is good to see you again…” Vandar knew Meetra would never forgive the Council from expelling her from the Order years earlier, so he allowed Master Vrook Lamar to speak to Meetra himself.

“We were wrong to expel you from the very commitment that was your life, Meetra. Now, all we ask of you is to help us fight the battle against Revan, with Malak as a temporary ally..” Meetra looked down at the ground, then back at everyone in the room. “I’m sorry, but as much as I would like to help you, my connection to the Force was greatly diminished after what happened at Malachor and may take a long time to regain…” Master Tokare and the others nodded, before Master Shan spoke to Meetra. “We understand where you are coming from, Meetra. We’ll give you time to regain your connection to the Force and when you’re ready, we’ll contact you..”

3,946 BBY - Korriban, Valley of The Dark Lords

Back on Korriban, Emperor Revan would be walking towards one of many tombs of ancient Sith Lords long dead in The Valley of The Dark Lords, hoping to learn more about the Sith to find a way to overcome the mysterious aura trying to take over his mind. Revan could feel the Dark Side emanating from this valley and then turned his head, entering one of the tombs.

As he walked inside the tomb in the darkness, Revan could see spiders and other creatures crawling along the walls of the structure, until he heard faint echoes from multiple directions and then, a deep voice that sent chills down the spine of even Darth Revan himself. “Who dares trespass on my burial grounds???”

Turning around, Revan saw what appeared to be an ancient Pureblood Sith King standing next to a casket, with a blue hue around the figure himself. Thanks to some studies he did over the years, Revan knew who this was: Marka Ragnos. A pureblood Sith king that died roughly a thousand years ago, just a few weeks before The Great Hyperspace War.

“Marka Ragnos…     I come to you for guidance. A mysterious aura has been trying to take control of my body, and I have been fighting back against it for months, but it always keeps coming back. Will you help me overcome it permanently, Lord Ragnos?”

Marka Ragnos just stared at Revan, perplexed as to what he meant. “What could this aura be..??” “I’m not entirely sure what it could be, actually. I have heard of the Force ability known as Essence Transfer, and have used it before, so this aura could be either an ancient Sith spirit or it could be something else entirely…”

Ragnos could sense something familiar about this aura Revan was talking about, as he could sense it lurking within Revan’s mind right now. “Hmmm…    something about this aura feels oddly familiar. Centuries ago, I remember meeting a young boy who had already killed his parents at the age of six during my reign over the Sith Purebloods and Halfbloods. The presence of this aura is very distinctly similar to the presence that boy gave off…      only time will tell if that aura really is what I’m suspecting it to be, but I would advise being cautious in trying to fight the aura off…”

That's it! Hoped you enjoyed it. Sorry if the intro/outro is a bit rushed... I'm just trying to sort some stuff out on ANVODE. Anyway, leave a like, comment your favorite moment of the series so far, and see you next week.
