Hello everyone! We are back after a long wait with the newest Malak episode. Thanks so much to DF for helping me… I have no time to do anything these days so having a co-writer is so helpful. Let’s jump into it!

Malak immediately reignited his Lightsaber at the sight of Revan, holding his Lightsaber shakily. “Revan? How did you find me? HOW did you know I was here!?” Revan smirked under the mask, reaching for one of his Lightsabers. “Why do you think, old friend? We formed a Force Bond during our time in The Mandalorian Wars. I was able to sense where you were through that bond…”

For a second, Malak could see through the visor in Revan’s mask, catching a glimpse of a pair of eyes that glowed the color of a deadly flame. Tightening the grip on his Lightsaber, Malak began preparing himself for the inevitable duel that was to come. “Once, I believed we were helping the galaxy by shaping it into our own image. But now, I see how far we both went. I have changed, and so can you, Revan…”

Underneath the mask, Revan’s smirk faded. “You don’t understand, Malak. I have destroyed Vitiate and helped you lay The Jedi Order to rest without you even knowing for ten years. I am THE most powerful Sith Lord in galactic history!! I have brought PEACE, FREEDOM, JUSTICE, and SECURITY to my new Empire!!!”

Malak cocked one eyebrow at Revan. “YOUR new Empire?” Malak asked. “Don’t make me KILL YOU, Malak…” Revan replied, right when Malak sensed a dark aura unlike any other trying to control the Dark Lord’s mind, and knew that his goal was to free Revan from that kind of aura. “I cannot let you control this galaxy anymore, Revan..”

Revan just stood there, knowing full well that Malak would surely rush him at any moment. “Don’t try it.” Rushing towards Revan, Malak yelled loudly and lunged towards his old friend, but Revan quickly blasted Force Lightning towards Malak, sending him hurling backwards towards the entrance of the Ossus Jedi Enclave.

Tumbling across the ground, Malak managed to regain his footing and used the Force to pull his Lightsaber back to his dominant hand and threw the weapon towards Revan, who ignited his own amethyst blade and blocked the Lightsaber from being plunged into his chest.

“You still have much to learn, old friend.” Revan remarked, locking blades with Malak, who was able to block the attacks. Having learned his lesson from the last time he fought Revan years earlier, Malak pushed Revan backwards with the intent of knocking him into his nearby shuttle. But this was not to be.

Igniting a second Lightsaber from behind, Revan attempted to slit Malak’s throat with the tip of the blade, but Malak just barely dodged the attack before getting into a blade-lock with Revan. “The Dark Side is NOT the way, Revan!!! Join me, and together, we can bring TRUE peace to the galaxy!”

Revan broke the blade-lock with Malak and continued to swing at his former Apprentice’s head. “The Dark Side is the ONLY way the galaxy will be FREE of bloodshed, Malak!! You must either join me, or DIE!!!!” Revan yelled, slicing Malak across the shoulder. 

Malak winced in pain for a brief moment, and then swung at Revan’s neck, but Revan knew this was coming ahead of time and raised both Lightsabers next to his head, entering another blade-lock with Malak. “It’s a shame that I never introduced you to my new Apprentice…” Suddenly, a legion of Sith Troopers led by Atton Rand opened fire on Malak to save their Emperor. “I’m here, Master! We’ll take him together!” Atton exclaimed.

Blaster bolts zoomed towards Malak at rapid speeds, putting him on edge against not just Revan, but his reinforcements too. Atton then charged towards Malak, thrusting his Lightsaber towards Malak’s chest in a stabbing motion, but Malak was able to parry Rand’s strikes despite his struggles.

While Malak was distracted, Revan thrusted his free hand into the ground beneath his feet and knocked Malak off-balance with a Force Shockwave. When Malak rose to his feet again, his eyes darted between Revan, Atton, and the Sith Troopers, unsure as to who he should attack first. “You have trained your Apprentice well, Revan. But I sense that he clearly takes his need for absolute victory from you, does he not?”

Revan cackled. “Need for victory? No. He’s just thirsty for blood.” With the flick of the wrist, Revan threw his red-bladed Lightsaber towards Malak, who successfully avoided being decapitated, only for Atton Rand to jam his left knee into the side of Malak’s head.

Malak staggered back, caught off-guard, but nonetheless, he swung for Atton’s shoulder. Atton quickly blocked the strike and grabbed Malak by the wrist, shearing through his cybernetic arm and jaw, right when the Sith soldiers shot him in multiple exposed areas at once. Catching his Lightsaber one hand, Malak attempted to cut Atton in half, before Atton kicked him in the face and knocked him over onto his back.

Malak collapsed at Atton’s feet, clutching his missing jaw and letting out a muffled cry of pain, until he saw Revan walking up towards him. “You served your purpose as my Apprentice well, Malak. Even when you betrayed me, I served you as your own ‘student’, and revealed myself to you when the time was right. However, all things must come to an end, sadly…”

Holding both Lightsabers above his head, Revan prepared to deal the killing blow on Malak, but right as he was about to end Malak’s life, Revan suddenly heard something buzzing, then heard his Sith Troopers screaming while they were cut down from behind. Snapping his head in one direction, Revan saw his own soldiers collapse with Lightsaber slashes being visible on their corpses. 

Turning his attention back to Malak, Revan was then forced to defend himself against a woman wielding a double-bladed Lightsaber, entering a blade-lock with the figure, who he immediately recognized as a Jedi. Breaking the blade-lock, Revan Force Pushed the Jedi backwards a few feet away from him and Malak. “Bastila Shan…    we meet at last.”
