Hey everyone! DF and I are back for another series of Malak. It’s the same amount of eps, same release dates etc etc. Anyway, have fun!

3,946 BBY - Coruscant, Jedi Temple ruins

A few months have passed by since the battle of Dromund Kaas. The former Sith Emperor Darth Malak now resides on the dystopian planet of Coruscant in the ruins of the old Jedi Temple that resided there. Now, he was an exile to the Sith, just as Meetra Surik was to the Jedi.

From the old Jedi Council Chambers, Malak would be looking off into the distance, seeing the grey moon glowing over Coruscant’s once beautiful skyline, before he looked down at the bottom of the all but destroyed Temple. Malak took in a deep breath and was about to step over the edge of the windowsill, when he suddenly heard a voice he hadn’t heard in many years.

“What are you doing, Malak?” Malak quickly stopped himself from his act of suicide, as he slowly turned around and saw a Jedi wearing brown robes and silver armor that had a bald head and a muscular appearance standing at the opposite end of the room.

“Marcus Halcyon. Long time, no see, old friend.” Marcus Halcyon only took a few steps closer to Malak, as the silent wind gently blew against him and Malak. “Why are you living like this, Malak? Shouldn’t you be running your own Empire?”

Malak glared at Halcyon, as he closed his reconstructed cybernetic hand into a rusty, metallic fist. “Revan dethroned me by using Essence Transfer to possess the man that was supposed to be my Apprentice. Now, he rules the entire galaxy from the Sith Academy on Korriban…”

Malak then unclipped his Lightsaber from his belt and threw it towards Halcyon’s feet, before he spoke through the cloth he was wearing to disguise his cybernetic jaw to prevent anyone from knowing who he really was. “Kill me, Marcus. It is Revan you and whatever Jedi survived my wrath want now, not me. I am nothing to you, just as Meetra Surik was to the Council.”

Halcyon stared at Malak’s Lightsaber on the ground for a moment, before looking back at the man who he used to fight alongside during The Mandalorian Wars. Malak waited patiently, before Marcus finally responded.

“No, Malak. It isn’t the way of the Jedi to kill those that have been wronged. I and the other Jedi have sensed Revan’s return from across the galaxy on our hiding spot, while you were utterly humiliated by your former Master. If there’s one way we can defeat Revan, it can be with your help.”

Marcus then extended one hand out to Malak, who only stared at it for a moment. He remembered the old days, when he, Marcus, Revan, and Meetra Surik fought back against the Mandalorians during the war, when he and Jedi like Marcus used to be friends. Now, they were enemies, but Marcus was willing to forge an alliance with his former friend. “You may be the last hope of restoring the Jedi to their former state, Malak..”

3,946 BBY - Korriban, Lightsaber Dojo

Inside the new Sith capitol on Korriban, Emperor Revan would be walking slowly down the halls of his new Sith Palace, when he opened one of the countless doors in the hallway and saw his new Sith Apprentice, Atton Rand, fighting hard and valiantly against the training droids in the Lightsaber Dojo that Revan had installed in the building.

Atton would cut down the last remaining training droid in the room, just as Revan arrived, before Atton dropped his Lightsaber and collapsed to the floor, tired and sweating from head to foot. “Round Forty-Seven complete!!”

After the loud speaker proclaimed this, Revan walked towards his Apprentice, who looked up and saw his Master towering over him. “Well done, my young Apprentice. I sense that your strength has been growing with each day that passes…”

Atton picked his Lightsaber hilt back up off the ground and rose to his feet, sweating from head to foot. “What is your will, my Master?” Revan flinched inside his mask for a moment, before he regained his composure. He was in this mysterious battle with a dark aura that was trying to control his mind. He did resist it, but had trouble doing so.

Finally, the Sith Lord responded. “My personal agents appear to have located Darth Malak at last. He is inside the Jedi Temple on Coruscant with a Jedi named Marcus Halcyon….”

Atton’s head perked up when he heard the mention of Malak’s name. “Send me to deal with that pretender! He and his Jedi friend shall FALL!!!” Revan sighed under his mask. “I think not, Apprentice. I will send Yuthura Ban with a Sith Imperial strike team to deal with Malak. Though you are growing increasingly powerful, you are not ready to challenge an opponent as powerful as Malak is..”

Atton glared at Revan, as his eyes glowed an even brighter shade of yellow than they already were in previous days. “But, Master. This is what I’ve been WAITING for! Let me FIGHT them BOTH on Coruscant!!!”

“No, Atton. Malak has grown in strength since The Jedi Civil War ended. You would surely be killed by him. Yuthura Ban will go to Coruscant with an Imperial strike team…”

Back on Coruscant, Malak continued to stare at Marcus Halcyon, as the Jedi offered for Malak to forge a temporary alliance between him and the Jedi. “Isn’t defeating Revan what you want above all else, Malak?”

Malak was about to respond, when a massive light shined upon the dusty floor, forcing him to Force Pull his Lightsaber to his hand and then reignited the crimson blade for the first time since Dromund Kaas, with Halcyon doing the same, before they both saw a Sith Imperial Gunship facing them.

Malak tightened the grip on his Lightsaber, as he saw Sith Troopers holding their blasters in both his and Marcus’s direction, before he saw a purple-skinned Twi’lek standing among the footsoldiers, holding a Lightsaber in her hand.

“Emperor Revan has decreed an order for nobody to step foot on these ruins. Surrender and prepare to be detained or we will open fire!” Malak turned to Halcyon, who was preparing to fight the Sith forces. “You ready to fight Revan’s lapdogs, Halcyon?”
