Hey all, I know it's been a while, but I recently saw the concept art for a New Republic torpedo bomber by VFX Art Director and Senior Concept Artist, George Hull on Twitter and wanted to share it here. 

Mostly likely based on the Northrop YB-49 strategic bomber created by the U.S. in 1947.

Originally they were designed in 2015, so they were probably meant to appear in TLJ during the opening battle sequence. Think it would've been cool to see the Rebel/Resistance acquire more starships of this scale to place them on equal footing with the First Order, but I digress.
