in recent years there has been much debate over what star wars is truly about. Some say that its about politics. Others say that its about family and others claim that its about space ships. In my view star wars can be about whatever you want it to be about and whatever interests you the most in a galaxy far far away. However, when it comes to writing Star Wars, I think that there needs to be a concrete definition of what star wars really is about. In my view star wars is about the force and family, politics and space ships are the back drop, but the force and family are the main topics/story points.
