Hello again my Star Wars-y friends! Today we are going to discuss the new rumours that the one and only Disney (long may they ruin)  is potentially selling the massive bombshell that is Star Wars back to George Lucas. This is both a very exciting and a very daunting possibility. As we all know, Disney bought the absolute landslide that was Star Wars (at the time)  back in December 2012 for about $4.05 billion. They started off alright, making the Clone Wars and Rebels shows, but then they started to fall down a little. They brought in the Sequels. Sure, they made an alright start... TFA made a bit at the box office and it started to make people think that maybe this wasn't such a bad decision... but then TLJ came along. What a disaster that turned out to be. The fans started to think that maybe Disney wasn't all that it was cracked up to be. Then, one year later, they released TRoS. We all know how that turned out.

And then we get to the shows... oh the shows. I could go on for ages about how good the Clone Wars and Rebels were... I didn't watch Andor so I can't really talk about that too much. In my opinion, TBoBF wasn't too bad... it was a bit underrated for me but that's not my problem. My problem is with Kenobi. Kenobi was probably the most hyped-up TV show that Disney ever created for Star Wars. This was their one chance to right the undoable wrongs of the Sequel Trilogy, but what did they do? They made it so that Obi-Wan Kenobi, trainer of two of the most powerful Jedi that ever lived, couldn't rescue one little girl. True, this is a miniature Princess Leia we're talking about, but Kenobi has killed Grievous and chopped Maul in half... surely he could rescue one little girl who was only being chased by about 5 thugs and a pack of Inquisitors. He may have been in retirement but oh well. I honestly hope that the Lando show goes ahead and even if it turns out to be yet ANOTHER Disney failure, it would be better than Kenobi.

Let's move back to the good stuff. Mando. Now I want to talk about Mando. The first season was probably the best thing that Disney had done since the Sequels. The second season? Even better. The third season? Didn't watch it. Not because of the ratings, but because my Disney+ subscription ran out in December. Apparently, it was a bit of a letdown. From what I've been told, they made it almost all about Bo Katan taking back Mandalore, rather than focusing on Din trying to train Grogu and making him a Mandalorian. TBoBF was alright for me... it was pretty cool watching Boba ride around on a Rancor and smash the town to pieces. Bad Batch Season 1 was amazing. haven't watched Season 2 yet but I will when I get my subscription back. Tales of the Jedi was pretty good too... wouldn't mind a Tales of the Sith or a Plagueis show in the future. Looking forward to Ahsoka and The Acolyte in the future as well.

Anyway... that's it from me. I am hoping that Disney will sell Star Wars, but at the same time, I'm still waiting to see how good all the new shows will be. So I'm still on the fence at the moment. Let me know in the comments what your thoughts are on these recent rumours that have been circulating around. Theory talked about it in one of his latest videos, so that's where I got the news from. Please react to the poll at the top of the post and leave a like on the post so we can get our EM status back :)
