The Ahsoka series has gotten some of if not the most hype for a Star Wars show in ages. It’s been a while since we had a really good series, with Kenobi and TBOBF being kind of a washout, and many fans still sitting on the fence about Andor. We need a Star Wars show that can lift up the fans more than ever, and this might just be the show to do it.

Release Date:

We don’t currently have a release date for Ahsoka as of yet, but that does not mean that we cannot speculate. We know it will be this year, and with Mando coming in the early part of the year, we can assume that Ahsoka will be coming around half-way through, so around August or even October, depending on how long Mando takes. We’ll just have to hold it until we get a set date.

Plot and Cast:

Ahsoka will be set around 5 years after Return of the Jedi, as well as after the end of Mando Season 2. She is travelling in search of Grand Admiral Thrawn. This proves many fans suspicions, including my own, that he will be the main antagonist in this series. He will be played by, surprise surprise, Lara Mikkelsen. While we are on the topic of Rebels characters, it had been CONFIRMED that Emad Esfandi has been cast as Ezra Bridger in this series. Ray Stevenson has also been cast to play some mystery villain in Ahsoka… most likely an original character that we have never seen before. And now we move onto the one and only Haden Christensen. It has also been confirmed that he will play a part in the Ahsoka series, either donning the iconic Darth Vader outfit for a flashback or appearing possibly as a Force Ghost or maybe a Clone Wars flashback. That’s all the casting and plot info we have for now but I will update this section with any new info that comes out.

Alright, so we got a little trailer at the end of last year giving us a sneak peak at what happens in the series. It doesn’t really show us all that much that we haven’t seen, just a few flashbacks and even a shot of a clone trooper, which was maybe from Grogu’s Force Vision that happened in Mando S2. There are a few scenes with Luke as well which shows us that she will most likely keep training with him and maybe this will lead up to when he gets his first students in his academy 🤔… we will have to wait and see. It also shows flashbacks of her duelling Mando, which makes me think we might see her perspective of that fight. There is also her walking into the Magistrate’s temple, and her landing on the planet where she finds Mando, which makes me think we might get to see what she was up to before that. That’s all this trailer offers, and we might not get another one for a while because it might cut into some Mando Season 3 spoilers. Again, I will keep you posted on this section when we get some more info.
