How Darth Vader can SAVE PADME in CANON – Star Wars Explained
As we saw in Rebels, Ezra Bridger went into “the world within worlds” and saved Ahsoka Tano from Darth Vader (see the Star Wars Theory article on this).
I have mixed feelings about the new stance Disney is taking by using time travel in it’s story lines. On the one hand, it’s something we haven’t seen before and feels slightly alien (excuse the pun), but on the other, it opens up a whole new universe of endless possibilities. On balance though, I have a feeling they will use this new story device to tie in many loose ends from both the sequels, the original trilogy and the prequels.
Going back to “the world within worlds” as they are calling it, I believe it’s a realm that stands outside of time. Now that we’ve seen Emperor Palpatine try to use one of the portals within it to get to Ezra, I think it makes total sense he was using it at the time of the PT and it was this what he could use to cheat death.
I’m not going to repeat myself and go into full details here and there are so many possibilities now, but if you check out today’s Star Wars Theory video below, I go into everything in much more detail including “would Darth Vader go back in time and save Padme using this realm”?
I always say this at the end of an article, but I do know there’s a lot of new guys out there discovering the website for the first time. If you enjoyed today’s video, you can check out a lot more like this over at the Star Wars Theory YouTube channel.
Thanks for taking the time out to watch the video my Jedi and Sith friends and remember, MTFBWY, always!
