Darth Vader’s Thoughts While Killing the Rebel Troops in Rogue One (CANON) – Star Wars Explained
Thanks to the novelisation of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story by Alexander Freed, we get an intense insight into Vader’s mindset. At the end of the movie, Darth Vader is seen cutting his way mercilessly through rebel troopers in an attempt to retrieve the stolen Death Star plans. In my opinion, this is one of the best scenes in any of the Star Wars movies so far. As well as the novelisation having many extended scenes, it expands on this part of the film with Freed giving us an account of Vader’s senses at the time.
In today’s Star Wars Theory video, I dramatise the Vader slaughter scene from the novel, explaining what was going through his mind and what dark force senses he was using, such as honing in on fear from a distance.
There’s also another section of the book I want to expand on to get into Darth Vader;s mind; the scene on Mustafar where we see him in his bacta tank, but that’s for another video…
